Ambassador Gold Coast, The Chicago Hotel Collection

Celebrate your wedding in Chicago’s Gold Coast at Ambassador Gold Coast, a Member of The Chicago Hotel Collection. Opened in 1926, the hotel brings together the former Pump Room, a Champagne lounge, an outdoor terrace and smaller private rooms for a celebration that can extend across the weekend.

Choose the setting that fits your plans. The Ambassador Room pairs its signature globe lights and built-in bar with flexible arrangements for dinner, dancing and receptions, with a maximum of 350 guests in total. The Champagne Room Featuring Moët & Chandon offers historic woodwork, arched entrances and lounge seating for welcome drinks, intimate celebrations and cocktail receptions, with a maximum of 150 guests. Seated capacity in both rooms depends on the layout and event requirements.

For an outdoor ceremony, dinner or reception, the Terrace on Seventeen frames Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan views. Plan for up to 50 seated or 75 standing, with weather arrangements and any adjoining indoor space confirmed in your proposal. The Marilyn Monroe, Astor and Frank Sinatra rooms provide additional options for smaller gatherings, rehearsal dinners and wedding-weekend events. Each space is booked and arranged for your particular plans.

Our event team can help coordinate the room arrangement, on-site catering and beverage service. Guest rooms and suites keep visiting friends and family close; room blocks and bridal-suite arrangements are available to discuss, subject to availability. Menus, service, timing and room inclusions are confirmed in your event proposal.

Share your date, guest count and whether you are planning a ceremony, reception or full wedding weekend. We can recommend a room and layout, discuss menu options and arrange a tour.
