The Barn At Drovers can host between 40 and 80 guests, with exclusive use of the farm and all indoor and outdoor spaces from Friday to Sunday. These include two barns, one an award-winning and renovated stone threshing barn, and the other a rustic, agricultural barn. You can enjoy the warm glow of fire pits, including roasting marshmallows, as well as avail of on-site parking, dog-friendly environment, and kids clubs. This venue includes green initiatives to minimise wedding environmental footprint such as cutting down on waste, carbon emissions, and recycling whenever possible.
Services Offered
The Barn At Drovers is available to host engagement parties, elopements, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. Wedding service begins with event planning, and includes chairs, tables, china, glassware, speakers, music system, get-ready rooms, with cleanup and setup covered. Straw bales are available for outdoor weddings.
Cuisine
You can look forward to organic and home-grown ingredients for your wedding breakfast and evening meal. Locally sourced and freshly prepared in the on-site commercial farm kitchen. You and your guests can enjoy homemade pizzas cooked in an outdoor wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ festival feasts cooked on open fires. The venue has a fully licensed and staffed bar on-site, with customized drinks and a late night license until 1am.
Accommodation
Between 40 and 60 of your guests can be accommodated on-site in the lovingly restored, old-stone Drovers cottages, complete with ensuite bathrooms. Alternatively, high-class safari tents are available, perched on decks with stunning scenic views of the countryside and of the stars at night. These are all equipped with private, underfloor heated bathrooms, wood-burners, and electric blankets.
Location
The Barn At Drovers is nestled in the foothills of the Welsh foothills, near the border of between Herefordshire and Powys. The market town of Hay-on-Wye is a 14-minute drive and the city of Hereford is a 41-minute drive.
