About this venue

Adirondack Camp is a historic waterfront wedding venue and summer camp on Lake George in Putnam Station, upstate New York. For one long weekend, the entire 36-acre Adirondack camp becomes your own destination wedding escape: cozy cabins, pine forest, docks, campfires, canoes, and a vintage lakeside dining hall for your reception.

Couples come here for a true weekend wedding in a relaxed, rustic camp setting. You can host up to 300 guests for the celebration, with on-site lodging for a large group of family and friends. Most couples arrive on Friday for a welcome dinner, settle everyone into cabins, and watch the sunset over Lake George. Saturday is for swimming, paddling, hiking, and hanging out before your ceremony at the water’s edge and a late-night dance party in the hall. Sunday usually ends with a farewell brunch and one last jump off the dock.

Adirondack Camp offers several ceremony locations, including rocky peninsulas, wooded coves, and open waterfront overlooks, plus a classic camp dining hall with exposed beams and long wooden tables for a warm, communal rustic wedding reception. It’s a destination wedding that feels like a shared lake house weekend with all your favorite people.

On-site catering, bar service, and weekend staffing are available, with flexible options that range from destination site rental only to fully catered, all-inclusive packages for couples who want a more elevated, luxury wedding weekend while still keeping the camp feel.

We host a limited number of Adirondack destination weddings each season between late August and late October. Weekend site rental starts around $26,750 and includes private use of the property for the duration of your event. Reach out to learn more about availability, weekend packages, and how to turn Adirondack Camp into your “home on the lake” for one unforgettable camp wedding weekend.

The ideal summer camp venue

If you’re looking for a venue to host a unique, summer camp style event-look no further! We wanted a rustic camp wedding that could host all of our guests for an entire weekend in a beautiful setting and found that and so much more at Adirondack Camp.

We researched hundreds and visited over 20 summer camps in-person from Pennsylvania to Maine and everywhere in between, but our search ended the minute we drove into camp. Adirondack Camp had everything we wanted: outdoor and indoor options for rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party with endless views all in one place for an extended weekend, all to ourselves and our 150 guests.

The natural beauty is truly remarkable, surrounded by crystal clear water and gorgeous mountains, but what really made Adirondack Camp ‘our’ place was the connection we had with the owners, event coordinators and the staff. They made it feel special.

We hosted a weekend complete with adult camper delights: kayaking and paddle boarding, basketball, volleyball and tennis, slip n slides, egg tosses, glow n the dark frisbee and more! We had a camp fire each night in a different location for singalongs and s’mores, with more stars above than we’ve ever seen. We had our rehearsal dinner & cocktail hour on the string-lighted patio, our wedding ceremony on sunset point, reception & other meals in the spacious wood beamed dining hall. We slept in our own honeymoon cottage with private campfire and dock to ourselves (that my bridesmaids used for getting ready), with our immediate family and bridal party their own special indoor cottages, and the remainder of our guests staying in the unique open-air bunks.

The camp staff provided great support in planning & executing our dream wedding weekend. They customized their plans based on our wants and needs both leading up to and during the event. The camp cook staff provided a BBQ for welcome dinner, 2 breakfasts and a lunch - all of which were delicious with plenty of options.

Even 3+ years later, our guests still tell us our wedding was the best weekend ever. Not just best wedding: best weekend. And that is in large part due to hosting it at Adirondack Camp. That says it all :)

The wedding of our dreams!

We knew we had found our venue the moment we stepped onto the grounds of Adirondack Camp. It’s truly a magical place. Despite a little rain during our welcome party, the entire weekend was nothing short of incredible.

The property itself is breathtaking, but what truly sets Adirondack Camp apart is the staff. Tom and his team went above and beyond — we honestly can't say enough good things about them. They were more than accommodating, always ready to help, and genuinely committed to bringing our vision to life. They even welcomed our dog, Bennie, for the weekend. He walked down the aisle with us and even took a few dips in the lake during cocktail hour — it was so special to have him be a part of the celebration, and the team embraced him like family.

The food was absolutely phenomenal — a huge thanks to Juan for crafting such a memorable dining experience. We highly recommend doing the Friday welcome dinner with the Mexican menu — it was a huge hit with all of our guests and a perfect, relaxed way to kick off the weekend.

And the cake! Their professional bakers created a stunning and delicious millefoglie cake that was as beautiful as it was unique.

Our friends and family are still raving about the experience. It was filled with the kind of memories you wish you could relive over and over again. Adirondack Camp gave us that and so much more.

The Wedding Weekend of Our Dreams

We considered a lot of other wedding venues but none of them felt right for us. From the second we toured ADK Camp with Tom, we knew we’d found the right place. We immediately felt at home and it will forever be a special place for us and someday our family to return to. We loved EVERYTHING about ADK Camp. It may go without saying if you’ve ever visited camp or the Lake George area, but the entire camp, venue, location, etc. is amazingly beautiful. The “mess hall” and patio made for a perfect and picturesque reception and gathering area for the rest of our weekend. All of the cabins (indoor and open-air), camp buildings/facilities, and grounds were clean and ready for us and our guests at check-in. We could go on about all aspects of our wedding weekend and how perfect it was, but the absolute #1 best part of ADK Camp is the staff! Words can hardly explain how helpful and amazing Tom and the rest of the camp staff were. They truly did it all- any questions we had were kindly answered, and issues were easily resolved, any needs were immediately met, and all of our requests and visions were perfectly executed. Every single staff member would happily drop what they were doing to shuttle us or our guests around camp, help us set-up or move tables/equipment, and so much more. They went WAY above and beyond to make our experience everything we dreamed of. Really, camp is so much more than just a wedding venue and we would encourage anyone to experience it the way we did- getting married with all your family and friends with you enjoying a weekend at camp!

Beautiful, FUN, Unique Venue

Adirondack Camp is a beautiful, fun, and unique setting for any wedding or celebration where you want to bring together loved ones. As a couple, we knew we wanted to celebrate for a FULL weekend with friends and family so having our guests stay in the cabins, enjoy an array of activities, as well as be on-site for the welcome dinner, ceremony, reception, farewell brunch, etc. was the perfect way to host such an event.

Adirondack Camp is situated on a beautiful peninsula on Lake George. It is a beyond gorgeous place for photos, has many spots to catch your breath for a quiet moment with your partner, and is the perfect backdrop for a couple that wants to be surrounded by natural beauty.

To this day, our friends still share that this was one of the most fun wedding weekends they had ever attended. Between the swimming in the lake itself, the activities, the backdrop for a romantic ceremony, and the awesome dance party that is possible in the dining hall, a camp wedding is hard to beat. Picture getting to wake up, walk out of your cabin and getting to see all of your closest friends and family for a full weekend in such a fun space vs. only getting to see people in fleeting moments at your reception. As a bride, I also really valued getting to settle into my cabin, walking to our welcome dinner, and getting ready just a short walk from the ceremony space.

This venue was extra special for us as ADK alumni -- we were so proud and happy for our guest to experience what an incredible and absolutely gorgeous place Adirondack is. Still, you don't need to have gone to camp to enjoy everything a celebration on the Lake has to offer. Cheers!
