History

Lake Heloise is artificial and was built in 1910, originally named Vaughn's Lake. It became known under its current name around 1950. Early in that decade, the lake became the setting for the White Birches Campsites and the Cross Country Skiing trail park. The current house by the lake was originally the lodge and mess of the campsite. Converted to a single-family home in the 1980s and renovated in 2010. The current owners purchased this property in 2018 and had a dream to share this beautiful space with others. They worked to make Serendipity Lake House available for weddings and other special events.
