Highland Oaks Weddings and Events, formerly known as Moonlit Farms, is a beautiful wedding and event venue in Palmyra, Indiana, set on 36 peaceful acres of rolling green fields, mature hardwoods, and wide-open countryside.

At the heart of the property is our beautifully repurposed white oak equestrian barn, featuring tall ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and a warm, timeless charm that creates the perfect setting for both intimate weddings and grand celebrations.

Couples and guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the property, from golden sunsets and wooded backdrops to starry nights shared with family and friends. Our brides can prepare for the day in The Cottage, a cozy 1,000-square-foot home located in the heart of the farm. The groom’s suite offers a comfortable space of its own, complete with a pool table, flat-screen TV, and a rugged bar, giving the gentlemen a relaxed place to get ready before stepping into the spotlight.

Absolutely Perfect in every way!

We Could not of chosen a better venue for my daughters wedding. This place was beautiful and perfect in every way. We had our rehearsal dinner there, had a cottage for the girls to get ready in as well as a beautiful area for the guys. There was plenty of options for ceremony/ reception areas. Plenty of space..beautiful setting for photos. The best part of our experience was the coordinator Suzie! She saved the day many times and went out of her way to make sure my daughters day was sooo special. She helped with things that was way out of her job description and we are so very thankful to her. If you are trying to decide whether to have your wedding here..don't hesitate. You will not regret it. They have awesome vendors they can recommend and were perfect in every way. Moonlit farms is absolutely gorgeous and the perks that are included make it worth every penny. I seriously can not say one bad thing about this place nor the staff. Every single thing went perfect thanks to suzie.

Great Wedding Venue

I have been to several weddings at Moonlit Farms and this place is amazing! The wedding coordinator is friendly and very professional. She keeps things moving but in a courteous way; not bossy. At night the place looks magical and makes for the best pictures.
I highly recommend this venue.

All Inclusive

Moonlit offered what no other venue could: A cottage for the girls and children. A suite for
the guys. A beautiful, rustic venue. A wedding coordinator who knows her stuff. & an abundance
of unique backdrops for our wedding photos!

Best day ever at the most amazing venue!

I fell in love with Moonlit Farms the moment I saw it. I reached out to the owners for availability and they responded immediately. I was then put in contact with the wedding coordinator, Suzie. Let me just say, Suzie was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. My wedding was planned in 3 short months and Suzie made it all possible. I had no idea what I was doing and she was sure to stay on top of everything. There is a cute little cottage for the brides and bridesmaids to get ready in and a nice grooms suite that offers a pool table that the groom and groomsmen really enjoyed. Overall this was the most perfect venue for the best day of my life. I would choose Moonlit Farms all over again.

Very nice for a wedding

Moonlit Farms is a beautiful venue, The owners David and Maggie were great to work with, as well was Susie Robson. All of our needs were met and Susie made sure we stayed on schedule and that everything was in place on event day. If you are looking for a country setting for your event with enough space for all your guests, Moonlit Farms will serve your needs and is reasonably priced.

Amazing experience all around

Would 100% Recommend This Venue!

I assisted with my nephew’s wedding and the staff at Moonlit Farms was great to work with. They were responsive and very helpful with any questions and concerns and did everything they could to help make the day run smoothly and assist in any way they could from the set up to tear down. Suzie was so sweet and helped us to get everything together, running back and forth between bridal party, setup team, and caterer to make sure everything went well and the families had a stress-free day! Would definitely recommend Moonlit Farms as your wedding venue!
