I cannot praise Bob Shirley and his entire staff enough. From the very beginning to the very end, the staff was very thorough and professional. Marissa was available to me at all times, was easy to work with, made wonderful suggestions, and handled the changes I made immediately. We have been to numerous events at Shirley Acres, and I am always amazed how delicious the food is no matter the number of people. Our guests raved about the food and the cake which was made by their in-house baker. Thank you Bob, Marissa, and all of the Shirley Acres staff.

Oaks and Evergreen is an absolutely breathtaking venue!! Gorgeous views, mature trees and beautiful, well-maintained property with stunning indoor and outdoor space for your wedding or event. The staff was incredibly responsive and helpful, making us feel like VIPs at our big event. 1000% recommend Oaks and Evergreen!!

March 14th 2026 was a day and night to remember. Our wedding ceremony was held in the Briscoe Manor Chapel and we celebrated and took it Back in Time with beats and dance moves in the Elegant Grand Ballroom. Choosing Briscoe Manor was truly the BEST decision we made! From the first tour to our last dance, the entire team was incredibly organized and professional. Thank you ALL for bringing our vision to life. A special shout out to Anna Miller, our Event Specialist for her AMAZING attention to details and most importantly for bringing such a calming energy that every Bride should feel on her Wedding day!! Mindy Gross and Carlos Andrade, our guests couldn’t stop talking about the delicious dinner provided by the in house catering. AND thank you Julie, the digital content creator for Briscoe Manor for capturing precious moments that will last a lifetime time! Briscoe Manor is the #1 Wedding Venue, look no further! I saw some pictures online and new I wanted to hire them immediately. The place is even more gorgeous in person. I had an amazing time taking all the pictures I could. It was the perfect setting for a wedding. Everyone was so quick to respond to any and all questions we had. Absolutely perfect experience.

The Retreat made our entire weekend incredible. Starting on Friday we hosted a Welcome Dinner & Smores After Party. The food at the Welcome Dinner was delicious and the venue set everything up seamlessly. The Smores After Party was a really fun way to spend time with our loved ones and enjoy those summer camp vibes. On Saturday we had a little bit of weather and the venue quickly adjusted and made our ceremony inside beautiful. Lexie our coordinator went above and beyond on everything and we had no clue when there were mishaps. The crab cakes were incredible - hats to the Chef. Most importantly, the venue is super dog friendly so our guys were able to be apart of our big day. If you are thinking about getting married here, don't think any further. Just do it. You won't be disappointed.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about OGR and their staff! Perfection from the gorgeous flowers to every detail, it was just magical and amazing! Thank you for such an incredible night for our daughter’s wedding!

I got married here in September and I cannot express how happy I was with my venue choice! Crystal went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was perfect. The entire planning process was smooth and there all-inclusive option was ideal for someone like me who hates planning. They were so accommodating and helpful the entire wedding process! The floral arrangements they made me were stunning as well!

Texas Old Town was so easy to work with. They were upfront about costs, details and expectations. The contract was easy to read and understand with no hidden costs. We were able to choose our vendors and Texas Old Town made it easy for the vendors too. Stone Hall at Texas Old Town grounds are lovely and made a stunning back drop for photos. I highly recommend Texas Old Town!!!!!
