Shirley Acres is an all-inclusive wedding venue situated in North Houston, Texas. Deeply rooted in a tradition of hospitality, the team here believes in treating guests like family. The original owners, Ralph and Lou Shirley, resided on the property and hosted many family events and weddings there. The tradition of celebrating weddings here has now been passed down to Bob and Karla Shirley. Authentic Southern charm is apparent throughout this family-run country venue.
Facilities and Capacity
These 21 acres of land overflow with trees and boast magnificent scenic views. This location features both indoor and outdoor reception areas, providing couples with opportunities to personalize their big day. Shirley Acres can accommodate up to 400 guests throughout its three event spaces. The Courtyard allows guests to be swept into a fairytale experience through twinkling lights and blossoming flowers. The Garden Room, a bright and spacious ballroom, lends elegance to any event held here. The wide picture windows look out over a vibrant landscape. The Pavilion is the rustic haven of this venue, ensuring an intimate and personal atmosphere for any event. A guesthouse with four bedrooms is centrally located on the property. For those out-of-town guests, this cozy location is the perfect home away from home. Here, everyone will have their own space to get ready and celebrate with one another.

Magical Experience - So Happy
The most beautiful and special reception!
We looked at 15-20 venues around Houston before going to Shirley Acres. The moment we stepped onto the property, we fell in love with it. It had the perfect natural beauty with a rustic, Texan feel. Bob and his team were really great hosts and extremely helpful every step of the way. The wedding/reception packages are very reasonably prices, and worth every penny. They cover all your needs, plus a little more.
The floral decoration and setup was absolutely stunning. It was perfection – right from the arrangement of the tables to each flower petal. Almost every single one of our 300 guests was in awe of the ambiance and the beauty of Shirley Acres.
The personal attention and care provided by Bob and his team was extremely gratifying – they go above and beyond to make sure you are at ease. People say you can’t really enjoy your wedding day and it goes by so fast. We agree, it went by real fast, but we enjoyed every minute of it. All thanks to the Team at Shirley Acres. They were on top of everything, from coordinating with all the vendors, taking care of the guests to even taking care of us! Thank you, Summer, Charity and rest of the crew!
