We used Lucy's Porch and Bear Garden at Ouisie's Table for our wedding reception, and it was an excellent experience from booking to the wedding day. This restaurant is an excellent option for those who don't want to pay the exorbitant venue fees for a traditional wedding venue. We had about 60 guests and it was the perfect amount of space for everyone and in total cost us about $8k in total. The staff is incredibly professional and really know what they're doing, we had no issues on the day and they were quick and receptive to any requests we had. The food is also extremely tasty! Everyone raved about the sea bass and the mac. We had our wedding cake done through them, too, and it came out looking exactly like what I had asked for. They did amazing in creating my vision! I highly recommend them for any bride looking for a beautiful wedding ceremony and/or reception venue for their special day!

Beautiful venue and very easy to work with! Was unique and private from the rest of the aquarium, good service with very attentive staff on wedding day. Lots of space for dancing and eating!! Great views of downtown. Highly recommend it!

I loved the service! Beautiful outdoor patio for cocktails hours. All inclusive venue.

We had our wedding in March 2017 and everything from the booking, to the food tasting, to the rehearsal and last but not least, the event itself, was truly a wonderful experience. The pine forest was flexible with our needs and demands (and there were many) however they remained understanding with the vision of our big day. The venue is beautiful and needs little to no decoration and the food was delicious! Our guests gave us many compliments on the photogenic scenery that the pine forest offers. I can only say that I am a happy bride and my husband agrees that this was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process.

Entering wedding planning Ashotn Gardens was a venue that quickly spoke to my husband and I, was the first venue we toured and while we viewed a few others this one always spoke to us more. The lighting was just unbeatable. We chose to utilize all of the vendors through WWE in their plan and I m so happy that is the route we went with. Knowing that each vendor had already worked with our space gave me comfort in knowing their would be little issues among the vendors and that they were well aware what their capabilities were. And that is exactly what happened. Wedding day was truly flawless. We didn't do very many of the add on options and never felt like we needed it.

My wedding photographer recommended Hotel Icon for our wedding block hotel. My fiancé and I toured here and could quickly see why. Not only are the staff so friendly, but also from the lobby to the guest rooms to my suite room everything is beautifully detailed. They surprised my husband and I with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries the night after the wedding. We loved staying here and will stay here for any hometown getaways.

I cannot praise Bob Shirley and his entire staff enough. From the very beginning to the very end, the staff was very thorough and professional. Marissa was available to me at all times, was easy to work with, made wonderful suggestions, and handled the changes I made immediately. We have been to numerous events at Shirley Acres, and I am always amazed how delicious the food is no matter the number of people. Our guests raved about the food and the cake which was made by their in-house baker. Thank you Bob, Marissa, and all of the Shirley Acres staff.

Words cannot express our gratitude to Morgan Mai and the incredible Northgate Staff!!!! THANK YOU so much for a MAGICAL DAY!! June 1st was one of the best days of our lives!! Morgan and the staff were exceptional, my guests cannot stop talking about how elegant and sophisticated the wedding was on that day. From cocktail hour to the end everyone had a wonderful time. Even though Northgate hadn't worked with most of my vendors before, the day went off without any hitches. THANK YOU to Morgan and the wonderful Northgate staff for bringing our vision to life!! For all those brides in search of a classic venue NORTHGATE COUNTRY CLUB is the venue for you!!! Special THANKS as well to Ariel(bridal attendant) she was wonderful!

We didn't originally want a hotel as our wedding venue, but once we saw The Sam and met with Michelle Scrimger, we were sold! The hotel has a boutique feel, and the Veranda event space is unique and beautiful. Michelle was fantastic to work with, and answered so many questions we had. Coordination with our on-site vendors was seamless, and their food and beverage options were top-notch. They worked with us to tweak a couple of things on the food and drink menus, and the day of ran extremely smoothly. Our package included the honeymoon suite adjacent to the Veranda event space, and it was perfect. We highly recommend The Sam Houston Hotel for a unique "hotel" wedding space.
