Bella Woods is a barn wedding venue based in Midlothian, Texas. This family-owned property has been welcoming happy couples for years. Brimming with rustic elegance, this venue is perfect for couples who desire a countryside celebration. Committed to bringing your dream wedding to life, the staff can’t wait to see you say “I do” in the way you have always envisaged.
Facilities and Capacities
Home to a pair of delightful locations, Bella Woods can comfortably receive up to 300 of your nearest and dearest. At the Bella site, the charming Sky Chapel is a wonderful place to host your ceremony. An intimate setting that evokes a sense of nostalgia, the chapel is accented by two painted trees for you to admire as you walk down the aisle. Antique entry doors and pews provide a vintage feel along with other decorative elements from the 19th century. The Bella Barn is ideal for receptions, a rural-meets-refined space defined by its Texan architecture. Creamy tones, a palatial ballroom, a crystal chandelier, and a courtyard area that can double as a ceremony location are a few of its features. The Woods site offers a completely different feel for your wedding. Its Chandler Chapel can host up to 200 guests. The option of holding your ceremony outside the chapel is also available. A historic facility with an industrial-modern feel, the Taylor Barn can set the scene for dining and dancing.
Services Offered
Bella Woods has a number of services available for your big day. The venue offers various event rentals so you can transform your event space into the wedding you've been dreaming of. Owing to their open vendor policy, you have the freedom to bring in your own choice of entertainers, caterers, and photographers. Items including altars, arches, centerpieces, drapery, and other decor can be provided. Additional services consist of access to get-ready rooms, event set-up and clean-up, and planning assistance. As well as hosting weddings, this venue welcomes photography and videography sessions.

We booked over a year and a half ago knowing that October is a popular month. The May family has been available for us since that moment! Darell May is seriously a phone call away, always!
We were so blessed to have Kim May do our decor and floral! No one else could have pulled off such a gorgeous task! She truly has a gift! Her humbleness is paired with graceful talent and she makes the most challenging job look like a breeze! I asked so much of her and she would take it on with a smile! She made sure it was what I wanted down to every detail and not just what she had done before. She made my dreams come to life and I will forever be grateful!
They have a warehouse behind the venue which is packed with a plethora of options to decorate vintage/modern/rustic you name it! If they don’t have it they know who does. They are filled with knowledge and are more than willing to share their wedding wisdom!
Even without any decor this place is gorgeous! The chapel holds so much character! It has imported oversized antique doors and all white interior with a ton of natural light! The brides room is well lit with plenty of mirrors and comfortable seating. I had five bridesmaids, my mom, four kids, hair and makeup in there with no problem! The grooms room has a pool table and leather couches! Both rooms have plenty of hooks for dresses and suits as well! The reception barn is full of breathtaking chandeliers, dangling crystals outline the dance floor overhead that have the ability to change colors, and everywhere you turn there is eye catching character!
The location is close to the highway for easy access but tucked away in trees for a secluded feel. The venue and the May family could not be more perfect! They are some of the most genuine people you will ever meet!
