Restaurant Wedding Venues in Texas

Amee and her team were phenomenal. We planned a wedding on a very short timeline which meant we had to make a lot of changes on the fly and she was *so accommodating* I can't even express my appreciation. I also have a *lot* of food allergies. Like... a laundry list of food allergies. I don't ever get to eat out. I told Amee about them and her and the chefs put together the best meal of my life and made sure that I didn't get sick on my wedding day. That alone would have merited 5 starts from me, but her responsiveness, kindness, professionalism and staff were also top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. They know how to throw a party, they are accommodating, the food is out of this world and.. the views! Highly, highly recommended.

La Lucha was the perfect venue for our son's rehearsal dinner! They were so accommodating and easy to work with. The menu possibilities for a private event go far beyond their day-to-day menu offerings and the tasting helped us select exactly what we wanted to serve. The food and service were outstanding! With the outdoor patio for cocktails and the homey feel inside the restaurant and bar, I highly recommend it to make a sizable celebration intimate and special!

Mary was very flexible, and responded quickly to all my questions. She was very clear on all the costs and planning. Easy to work with. The venue itself, while not overly fancy, is perfect for a smaller less formal party or ceremony (we had 75), and we were able to decorate tables and backdrops ourselves. We were able to Bluetooth our music through the sound system. Cost was reasonable for the venue; food and alcohol were in line with a more upscale Mexican restaurant, and feedback on food was positive. Overall it was perfect for what we wanted. The only comment I would make is that the servers were just so so friendly. Understand that it is a job, but would have liked to see a few more smiles and friendly service.

We had a phenomenal time at our wedding at the County Line On The Lake. We received lots of compliments from guests about the venue, which is a lovely space adjacent to the classic Austin restaurant with a beautiful lawn overlooking Bull Creek on Lake Austin. We had 65 people at our wedding and the Boy Scout Room and its lawn was the perfect amount of space. After the ceremony, we had a cocktail hour on the lawn (with yard games, which were a huge hit) while we took our couple portraits down by the lake, and after cocktail hour the rest of the reception took place mostly in the Boy Scout Room, which was super cozy with plenty of room for the dance floor and space for mingling. Kristina, the event planner and Katelyn, the day-of coordinator, were invaluable in helping us plan our perfect day. I was interested in having a boat exit (it's on the lake- how could we not) and they took care of securing that vendor for me and arranging all the details so I barely had to lift a finger. It was all just so convenient and easy, made very stress free. The County Line offers several decoration packages and we took advantage of many of them and felt that it was well worth our money. On the day of, Katelyn was invaluable in running the show for us, and helping wrangle people who needed to be wrangled. I think it ran very smoothly all because of her help. The food was delicious - we received lots of comments that people really enjoyed it. I am really happy we got to serve our out of town guests some delicious Texas BBQ. :) Thank you to all of the County Line staff who were so professional and kind who made our special day amazing. I'm so glad I got married here!

The Grove was a beautiful venue for our wedding! We had the service outside with the reception inside, and it worked (almost) perfectly. The only downside is that with both sports arenas and a park within such close proximity, the surrounding noise was less-than-ideal. BUT that's literally the only downside we had! haha. Just be sure that you have a mic for the vows, and you'll be fine. You cannot beat the food and drinks, which our guests were complimenting for weeks following the wedding. It really is such a uniquely beautiful setting too, with the trees surrounding the venue to create a really natural, elegantly rustic feel without having to be an hour outside the city. With its proximity to so many hotels, as well, convenience is key. Your guests can easily walk to the wedding and not have to worry about driving or calling a Lyft/Uber. The vendors knew the space really well, so Secret Floral Garden made it feel really elegant (more than it already does) and Binford Creative captured the most incredible photos. And the simplicity of the space allows you to create something truly magical. Deborah was also just a really lovely human to work with each step of the way. She was communicative, honest, and offered a lot of guidance based on previous weddings. We really could not have been happier with the venue, and our guests still rave about it to this day :)

We used Lucy's Porch and Bear Garden at Ouisie's Table for our wedding reception, and it was an excellent experience from booking to the wedding day. This restaurant is an excellent option for those who don't want to pay the exorbitant venue fees for a traditional wedding venue. We had about 60 guests and it was the perfect amount of space for everyone and in total cost us about $8k in total. The staff is incredibly professional and really know what they're doing, we had no issues on the day and they were quick and receptive to any requests we had. The food is also extremely tasty! Everyone raved about the sea bass and the mac. We had our wedding cake done through them, too, and it came out looking exactly like what I had asked for. They did amazing in creating my vision! I highly recommend them for any bride looking for a beautiful wedding ceremony and/or reception venue for their special day!

we held our rehersal dinner in the wine cellar room for about 30 people. staff and food were excellent.

We utilized the catering services of Bill Miller BBQ for my sister‘s celebration of life on December 1, 2024. The food was hot, fresh and outstanding. The staff showed such professionalism and respect and was super easy to work with. I have used Bill Miller catering on two other occasions and was extremely happy with those events as well. In addition, Bill Miller prices cannot be beat. I highly recommend Bill Miller BBQ catering.

Maharaja had great service throughout the whole process of our wedding. The quality and quantity of the food was beyond excellent! The owner was so nice and understanding of our needs especially after the chaos’s I had to go through with my decorator (NU TREND) being LATE and setting up the dishes late. I paid a great price for the 300 people event. They not only provide the main entree but also appetizers and dessert in the price per plate. I would defiantly choose them for any event I ever have again!
