The Orchard Event Venue & Retreat is a wedding venue located in Azle, Texas, just 20 minutes from Fort Worth. This unique venue balances rustic character with timeless elegance, presenting couples with a romantic backdrop for their special day. There are multiple indoor and outdoor sites for both your ceremony and reception on this 100-acre estate.
Facilities and Capacity
The Orchard Event Venue & Retreat is a state-of-the-art venue surrounded by beautiful oak and pecan trees. Outdoor ceremonies are held by the timber pergola, surrounded by picturesque views of lush greenery and 100-year-old pecan trees. Alternatively, you can say "I do" by the outdoor covered Plaza or inside the Pecan Room. For more intimate weddings, the Orchard Pavilion is available. This open-air space sits just inside the Orchard’s entrance among hundreds of oak trees. It boasts a large rock-stack fireplace and ambient lights and can accommodate up to 50 guests for dinner and dancing. If your dream is to host a large-scale wedding, you can invite up to 350 guests to the Reception Hall, a 7,700-square foot space that can be curated to suit your tastes. It features a built-in granite bar, a staging area for entertainment, and eye-catching timber beams overhead. The Reception Hall leads out to the outdoor patio area.
Services Offered
At our award-winning venue you can start your day in an elegant wedding suite complete with a six-seat luxury vanity table and a separate suite with a pool table, Playstation, cornhole, and horseshoes for the wedding party to enjoy before the festivities. An on-site event manager will be there to ensure the smooth running of events throughout your 12-hour venue rental. Other services, products, and decor items included in the wedding package are:
- Setup and breakdown of inclusions
- Tables, linens, and chairs
- Hand-held or lapel microphones and a sound system
- Dance floor lights
- Parking on-site
- Access to a prep kitchen, ice machine, and cold beverage dispenser
- Table lanterns, mercury glass candle holders, candelabras, and flameless candles
Accommodation
The Orchard Event Venue & Retreat offers a six-bedroom lodge and 15 cozy cabins for you and overnight guests. The spacious lodge is home to cozy interiors and rustic charm, with an outdoor pool and hot tub, a bar and grill, and a children’s playground. The cabins are free-standing, custom-built, and sleep two to four guests each. Your family and friends will be surrounded by towering oak trees, two outdoor fire pits, and lawn games as they celebrate your big day.

My Dream Venue
One of the things we appreciated most was the on-site lodging. It allowed us to really soak in the weekend and spend meaningful time with our family and friends beyond just the wedding day. That extra time made everything feel more relaxed and connected.
If I could do it all over again, I’d still choose The Orchard in a heartbeat. It was the best weekend of our lives, and something we’ll truly cherish forever.

Booking all the cabins for our cherished family and friends was just the beginning of what would become an unforgettable weekend. The Lodge, where the wedding party stayed, became our sanctuary, a place where nerves turned into laughter and anticipation. We had our Rehearsal Dinner, wedding day, and Sunday Brunch all on property and it was exactly what we wanted plus more!
But what truly sets The Orchard apart isn't just its picturesque setting or amazing accommodations; it's the remarkable team behind it all. From our first inquiry to the final farewell, they weren't just event coordinators—they were family orchestrators.
Their warmth and genuine care transformed mere logistics into heartfelt connections. Their unwavering support and attention to detail made every step of the planning process a joy.
Communication was seamless, like we were never more than a heartbeat away from any question or concern. They anticipated our needs before we even knew them ourselves, ensuring that our focus remained where it should be: on each other and the love we were celebrating.
