The Brooks at Weatherford is a wedding chapel and venue located just outside of Ft. Worth, Texas. Whether you’re having a small celebration or large wedding, this venue is ideal for couples wanting an elegant, rustic celebration in a unique setting. The 21-acre farm estate is home to a vintage chapel and a 7,000-square-foot event venue. Designed by architect Steve Heflin and opened in partnership with his wife, Tricia, the venue provides a gorgeous setting for celebrating your special day. The couple aims to provide a place where people can celebrate significant events, admire beauty and be happy.
Facilities and Capacity
The Country Chapel provides a beautiful backdrop for your wedding ceremony with its timber trusses, chandeliers and antique church pews. Through the windows, you’ll be able to see the picturesque hillside. The chapel’s exterior is adorned with stained glass windows and Teak wood doors. The space comfortably seats up to 250 guests, or more if you also choose to use outdoor seating. For your reception, the event venue — which has ornate wood columns, Persian doors, stained concrete and other charming architectural features — can accommodate up to 300 guests. Between the two spaces is a pond and other natural scenery. The Chapel and event venue both have open-air or climate enhanced options, giving you the chance to further customize your wedding celebration.
The Brooks at Weatherford offers event items such as chairs, tables and a dance floor. Additionally, parking is available and the venue is wheelchair accessible. A bridal suite is available on-site, so you’ll have space to get ready on your wedding day.
Steve and Tricia decided to move to the Ft. Worth area to be closer to their children and grandchildren, which meant closing their San Antonio based architecture business. After 35 years of marriage, they came up with the idea of opening a unique, stylish wedding venue where people can celebrate marriage and make memories. Just outside of Weatherford, Texas, they found the farm that would become that place. In addition to gorgeous trees and natural springs, the farm includes a 120-year-old farmhouse and guest house. They collected architectural elements to make The Brooks at Weatherford a reality.

Everything I wanted and more!
My husband and I are living in Seattle right now and wanted to be able to bring Seattle to Texas since our parents wanted us to get married in Texas! I knew the minute I walked in to the reception hall I could see with the fireplaces on and some greenery we could do just that! The Brooks is so romantic and beautiful. It was more than we could have ever imagined! I will never forget walking down into the chapel with everyone watching my dad and I from the big cut out windows on the sides. It was breathtaking and so perfect.Sent on 02/17/2019
