From the day we reached out for a quote , the second I toured this venue. We were sold and knew it was where we needed to get married. The grounds are made for weddings for the most perfect and beautiful picture perfect moments and the staff was super responsive all throughout the planning process for ANY questions I had. Our guests were so captivated by the grounds that a lot of them were thinking of renewing their vows there. It is a beautiful venue and perfect place to get that chapel garden vibe. I loved our venue and couldn’t recommend it enough! I’d get married again just to have another wedding here ! All our photos came out beautifully because this space has so many beautiful views. There truly aren't enough words to express how incredible this venue is. Every single one of my guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was, and it really IS! It is so peaceful, happy, and welcoming from the moment you step onto the property. From start to finish, our experience working with the team from the Brooks was fantastic. To say they put their all into it is an understatement. We felt incredibly special and I knew we were meant to be married there. Fall Wedding!
The Brooks blew us away in every way possible! The team was so kind, very helpful, professional, and always did everything they could to accommodate our needs and desires for how we wanted our big day to go. The Chapel is what sold us on the venue itself. It’s so beautiful, and we loved the natural lighting it brought through all the windows. The venue is so secluded, and the flowers and foliage are absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, we couldn’t recommended The Brooks at Weatherford more!!! -

We fell in love with this venue the moment we saw it. From the beautiful Texas sky that highlights the venue to the extensive attention to detail of the architecture and grounds we had such a memorable time having our wedding here. They do open houses quite often and are super responsive with any questions you may have. The ladies on staff before, during and after our wedding day were so nice and helpful. They kept the venue up & running smoothly, especially those fans during out hot October ceremony and the beautiful fireplace in the reception. If you're looking for a wedding venue that is not only affordable but personable and gives that classic little white church vibe this is the place!The Brooks at Weatherford's reply:

Amazing Venue
My husband and I got married here and it was absolutely incredible. The scenery is beautiful and when we had our tour we knew this place was perfect for us. Krysta is amazing and was so helpful at all times. She answered every question and made everything so easy. Courtney was my planner for the week of and she was incredible. She had everyone in the right places at the right time. Her communication was perfect and I was able to relax on our big day. Stunning Venue and Customer Service
The Brooks made our daughter’s wedding a dream come true. The customer service from the time of tour to the quick deposit return the week after the wedding was top notch. The team is quick to answer questions, friendly, and knowledgeable about every aspect of their venue, timelines and had great suggestions. Their vendor list is solid and we’re happy to accommodate several vendors that were not included to make the day special. From the ceremony in the beautiful chapel to the elegant, but rustic reception, the grounds are beautiful. The amenities they provide are more than adequate and decorated so well. Despite the weather for bridal portraits and the wedding day, everything was perfect. The attention to detail, handwritten notes from the team on portrait and wedding day, along with a book about marriage, made the process even more special. Would definitely recommend The Brooks at Weatherford for your special day! Even if the weather is cold and rainy!!
Extra shout out to Mari for putting up with us a little extra long with cleanup! So kind and never complained!

We had our wedding here in January and it was the best decision we made! Everyone keeps asking me what was my 1 thing that went wrong and if something did, I truly have no idea what it was. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was. It stands on its own for sure. We truly did not need much at all decoration wise because the venue itself is so beautiful. The weather did get chilly on our wedding day but nobody noticed because of how warm it was in the chapel and reception hall. I am so glad we made the decision to go with the brooks. We looked at a few places, but the moment we pulled into the Brooks we knew we found it! From the moment we walked in we felt at home! We were treated like family. Yes, I know it seems expensive but you get what you pay for. We were taken care of for the entire nine months. The setting makes the wedding and my daughter’s day was perfect in every way. I got many compliments and the setting was magical. In January we had spectacular weather and opened one side of the chapel! It was like a fairy tale. The Brooks helps you through every step. Pay attention to the vendors they recommend and trust them. You will have a a magical fairy tale wedding like ours. I can not say enough good things! The first time we ever drove by this venue (years before we got engaged) we both knew this was the place we wanted to get married. When we saw the property for the first time it was absolutely stunning. It was rustic but glamorous all at the same time. From the perfectly placed fireplaces to the floor to ceiling windows in the chapel…. It’s perfection on every level! This venue was a fairytale for our big day! Everything was so perfect. The staff is great and even let us do our engagement photos on property. The fire ban was lifted the week of our wedding so we were able to have fires in all the fireplaces and it was so nice! The Brooks hands down was the most gorgeous venue I viewed in DFW. On top of the pure beauty of the chapel, grounds, and reception hall, the staff was more than helpful, flexible, and supportive of every dream and plan we had for our big day. Beautiful Venue
The Brooks at Weatherford was a Most Beautiful place for my daughter to get married. From the chapel to the reception hall to the fire pit where the guests made smores, there was Plenty of space for everyone (125+ guests). Loved the whole experience.The Brooks at Weatherford's reply:

Exceptional venue!!!!! A++++++++++++++
Everything about working with The Brooks from the first day we toured the gorgeous place to the follow up after has been nothing short of exceptional service. I am still getting comments about how BEAUTIFUL the wedding was and the pretty chapel and reception hall, and the entire serene, setting. The people that we worked with at The Brooks was fabulous and responsive with every question and request. The day of the wedding they were there to make sure every detail was taken care of (and I am picky on details.... down to including good smelling firewood! ) Choosing The Brooks was the best decision we made. If I had other children to get married, I'd do it again there!!! I will certainly be their biggest fan and refer anyone I know who is looking for an A++++++ venue for their special day.The Brooks at Weatherford's reply:

Fairytale Venue
The Brooks at Weatherford has been the most outstanding team to work with over the last year. We fell in love with the venue, and it matched our fairytale feeling of finding each other. The whole journey up to and including the day of, the entire staff has been so kind, understanding, loving and happy to help however they could so we could have a happy joyful day. It's amazing when a business truly cares about their clients. Amazing experience!

TL;DR: Super pretty without decorating, will take your breath away
This venue is GORGEOUS. Ok so I'm the groom writing this with wife's account. so it takes a lot to impress me with a venue. I saw like 10 venues, but only one actually took my breath away: The Brooks at Weatherford.
Their staff was really helpful and responsive when we had questions. Only maybe two times out of 50 did it take more than a business day to respond to our email! We had A LOT of questions, so having a responsive venue is necessary for your sanity. We were also out-of-state and had to change our guest count/wedding date due to COVID so it was extra stressful. But they were very accommodating to all the changes due to COVID and never left us in the dark of their decision. They did not hesitate to offer us new dates for our wedding. We've heard of other venue companies that were not as flexible or accommodating to their clients, but The Brooks team is A+++++++ in their handling of COVID
My favorite thing about this venue is that it's SO incredibly pretty that you really don't have to do much to decorate the venue. I'm pretty sure (besides table decorations) we just bought a garland for the cross and some fake candles for the chapel and that was it. The venue speaks for itself. Our parents, who were against having a venue SO FAR AWAY said it was worth it because of how beautiful it was. My now mother-in-law is very picky about the look of a venue and she HIGHLY recommends The Brooks.
If you don't trust that your spouse will have many opinions on decorations, and the thought of decorating a venue stresses you out, PICK THIS PLACE!! It'll save you so much headspace for more important things.
Ok one last thing, at this venue, the pathway from the bridal suite to the chapel is actually exposed so that the bride can be seen walking to the chapel with her parents. It's about a minute and a half walk. We structured it so that after all the bridal party walked to their spot in the chapel, my wife would make her way down with her dad along the pathway.
People literally gasped because of how picture perfect it looked
You know how in life there's like a few images that you will never forget? Like a lovely painting, seeing your parents cry after you move out, or the view from the top of a mountain? It's like that, but with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

P.S if you book this place and need lunch catered, get Yesterday's Sandwich shop. Pro-tip, if your wedding is on a Sunday, call or email them to make an arrangement. The food there is like 3 steps above a typical sandwich shopThe Brooks at Weatherford's reply:

I have not had my wedding yet, but the chapel and reception area are gorgeous. It’s plenty of room for large families. There’s a gorgeous gravel walkway from the reception area to the chapel.

There are no words that can express how impressed I was with The Brooks. From the first initial visit, to chatting in between, to the big day, everything was simply perfection. I got married on a Tuesday and the day was overcast looking like it would rain. Needless to say the rain held off, the Chapel GLOWED with the lights on and I felt like I was in a different world. Jennifer and Courtney we’re flexible coordinators and were there for me with anything I needed. The place was Absolutely STUNNING. I just cannot recommend The Brooks enough for your Special Day. Quality Quality Service. And when your dad gets a personalized letter in the mail from The Brooks (POST Wedding) congratulating him and making him feel special about his daughter getting married, that was like icing on the cake. They didn’t have to do that, but that’s the kind of people they are. So SO impressed with them. My husband and I are living in Seattle right now and wanted to be able to bring Seattle to Texas since our parents wanted us to get married in Texas! I knew the minute I walked in to the reception hall I could see with the fireplaces on and some greenery we could do just that! The Brooks is so romantic and beautiful. It was more than we could have ever imagined! I will never forget walking down into the chapel with everyone watching my dad and I from the big cut out windows on the sides. It was breathtaking and so perfect.
I also cannot say enough about everyone at The Brooks... they were so helpful and honestly just genuinely so happy for you to start your married life on their property. They take amazing care of the place and have chairs and tables ready to go! They were super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for the big day! Don’t second guess this place... it’s as perfect as it sounds and look and books fast!!

Tricia and Monica were beyond helpful and always responded to my questions (which there were MANY). They made sure I had everything exactly how I imagined and worked with every need I had. I'm so glad that I was able to work with such nice people to plan my wedding. I was also able to work within our schedules to go visit the venue when I needed to. Not only is this venue absolutely beautiful, but the people here really want your wedding to be perfect. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this venue for a lovely occasion such as a wedding. -
Kelly Sent on 08/19/2018The most beautiful venue, with the sweetest staff. Apart from the picturesque scenery, I loved that this venue gives you so much freedom. They don't force you to pick certain vendors for their monetary gain. Family owned, they are truly in the business to make your wedding day dreams come true. If you are worried about the distance, we used charter buses to transport all of our guests which was not only a blast but also helped me rest easier that nobody would be on the road driving after a night of drinking and dancing.

Charlie Sent on 09/23/2014My fiancé and I had heard about the Brooks from a family friend in New Braunfels, TX. After hearing the owners names, Steve and Tricia Heflin, my fiancé was like “I know them, I used to go to Church with them!” Anyways I called tricia to set up a time we could come take a look at the facility. My first impression of tricia was nothing short of wonderful! She was bubbly, excited, and thrilled to answer any and every question that I had. And considering at the time of our call, back in April, they had only broken ground on the venue, I had a lot of questions! When we got to the Brooks, we were greeted by Tricia and Steve. They welcomed us into their home, which was super convenient because it was located directly on the venue site. We literally chatted about everything from our professions, to cookies, and to our parents. We felt right at home. There wasn’t much to say about the venue in May because literally all they had done at that time was lay the cement, but 4 months later, it is STUNNING. You can’t just take my word for it, you have to look at their Facebook page. www.facebook.com/brooksatweatherford They have been working so hard to make the Brooks something like a fairy tale. Steve assured us it would be done by our november wedding and its literally almost finished. After we toured the facility the sweetest part of the whole visit was the prayer. Steve, tricia, my fiancé, and I all stood in a circle and prayed for the Lords hand in our marriage, their venue, for Steve and Tricia, for future couples getting married there, and tricia even prayed for my father who had been diagnosed with cancer a week prior. (side note, he is now cancer free!) Austin and I are so excited and thrilled to be the first couple to get married at the Brooks. And we can’t thank the Heflins for building our fairytale venue and being a lovely couple to work with. :)

Beautiful views and when you pull up to the venue you are welcomed to a massive field of green and the chapel really stands out. Jennifer and Courtney are amazing to work with. Always responsive and happy to help with any questions. This venue offers customized seating through an app called AllSeated. You can choose how you want your tables and chairs set up. My wedding pictures turned out amazing using the backgrounds of all the exterior space of the venue. Highly recommend this venue.The Brooks at Weatherford's reply:
