Artemis Ranch & Retreat is a safari ranch wedding venue nestled in the heart of Lometa, TX, conveniently located just 15 minutes from Lampasas. Set across more than 3,700 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country, Artemis offers couples the opportunity to turn their wedding into an unforgettable destination retreat surrounded by breathtaking scenery and exotic wildlife.

Couples can exchange vows inside our beautiful Chapel or choose an outdoor ceremony on the lawn at the Lodge, surrounded by sweeping ranch views. Receptions can also be held at the Lodge or outdoors, giving you the flexibility to create a celebration that fits your vision. The Lodge is also an ideal setting for cocktail hour, with access to the bar, patio, and pool deck where guests can relax and enjoy the scenery before the reception begins.

For couples who want to make a full weekend of their celebration, optional on-site lodging allows family and friends to stay right here on the ranch. Our 13,000-square-foot Artemis Lodge accommodates up to 22 guests with 11 suites and spacious gathering areas. The three-bedroom Vista Cottage sleeps up to eight and features a private pool, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor entertaining spaces. For a truly one-of-a-kind stay, our four-bedroom Giraffe House sleeps up to eight and is connected to the giraffes’ barn, giving guests an incredible opportunity to stay alongside and interact with these amazing animals.

The ranch itself becomes part of your wedding experience. Couples can take engagement and wedding photos throughout the property, including unforgettable photos with our giraffes and other exotic wildlife. Wedding weekends can also include private safari tours, giraffe feeding, Imperial Zebra viewing, meeting Tank, our African White Rhino, sporting clays, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and more.
