Hotel Wedding Venues in Austin

Our daughter’s wedding and reception were held at Carter Creek in late October. When we first visited we felt it would be an ideal venue, and it was. The majority of our guests stayed in the villas and there were nothing but high compliments. Not having just a bedroom gives guests a place to meet and visit just like in their own living room during down time or early morning coffee. The restaurant/bar is excellent, the food and beverage very good and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Now for the wedding review….WOW!!! It was fantastic for both the ceremony and reception. It was beautiful. The food and beverages were top notch. Sara and Racquel were delightful and easy to work with through the whole planning process and especially on top of everything during our event. The weather forecast prior to the wedding was concerning. We knew the outside reception was not a problem as the pavilion is covered and open on only one side to a lovely lawn. The ceremony is open air and we were thinking we may have to move into a large inside area. Sara was able to delay setting up and just before decision time the skies cleared, the sun came out and the white chairs were set up on the lawn. If you choose Carter Creek you won’t be disappointed. I also suggest Casey G with At Last Entertainment as your wedding planner. She was exceptional to work with.

You can’t find a better venue in Austin, Texas.I went to 15 Venues and Vintage Villas was the last one I viewed. Right when i walked in, I knew that I found the perfect place. It encompassed views of the lake, stone and greenery. And don’t get me started on how perfect the sunsets are. You can’t get much better than that! We used Alexandria Gallegos as our wedding planner at Vintage Villas and she was excellent throughout the entire process. Calm, cool and collected. Know how to get everything done and run it smoothly. I was so happy I could put my trust into her. The venue provides all the food and alcohol which makes planning that much easier. It’s just simply CLASSY! If you’re on your search, you should definitely include this venue!

Our April wedding at Hotel Van Zandt was incredible! We had 220 guests and used the 2nd Floor main Ballroom for both our Ceremony and Reception. The outer foyer was also perfect for the Cocktail Hour in between while the HVZ Banquet team worked quickly and quietly to transform the space. We comfortably fit 20 round tables (8-10 people each) and a very long head table (35 people) in the ballroom, including HVZ's Stage and 20' x 20' Dancefloor. It was great that we did not have to rent much else other than we opted for different linens, changers, and silverware. The top 2 compliments we got from our guests were how nice the modern aesthetic of the hotel was (including the grand staircase and lobby which photographed beautifully in our group photos) and the quality of the food. Also - the HVZ bar staff was well equipped to handle a large number of guests (and I should mention they also worked the bar for our Friday night Welcome Drinks at the 'Bar 605' Coffee shop attached to the lobby). Allison at HVZ was great to work with and let me come to tour the space 6-7 times in all for various vendor visits and décor planning. She probably did more to help than our main coordinator, and the Hotel Van Zandt delivered beyond even our high expectations.

We had a great experience with the Lakeway Resort and Spa as our wedding venue. Alex Folden was so wonderful to work with! She responds to emails and calls very quickly, and will work with you to ensure you are getting what you want. She is personable, sweet, and fun, and made the planning process much more enjoyable. This is a great venue if you are having a lot of out of town guests. About 90% of our guests were from out of town, and Lakeway offers so many amenities - very few of our guests ventured outside of the resort at all over the weekend because there was so much for them to do and enjoy on site. On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly! If there were any issues that day, I was not aware of them. They were very professional in everything they did, and I was truly amazed at how knowledgeable and how well trained the entire staff was. We used the Vistas Ballroom for both our ceremony and reception, so they had to flip the room in about an hour - they did a fantastic job!! Everything looked perfect for both the ceremony and the reception. The Vistas Ballroom is INCREDIBLE - unlike any other ballroom I've ever seen, with 3 of 4 walls as windows overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. The food was also AMAZING! Many of our guests commented (and still say) that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. When we tried the food at our tasting, we were blown away at how great everything was, but still thought when serving it for 150-200 people, no way it would be as good at the wedding. We were very wrong - it was just as good, if not better. We served filet with macaroni & cheese, and veggies. Everyone's steaks were cooked PERFECTLY and the mac & cheese had great flavor and was super creamy - no clue how they managed to cook perfect meals for that many guests. During the tasting, when we wanted to change small things, they were very accommodating and made our meal exactly what we wanted.

This is an awesome venue for a wedding. The outdoor space is beautiful, the ballroom was such a great space for a celebration and the food was wonderful. Maureen was our event manager and she did a perfect job! The entire staff did so many things to make out day special. We could not have asked for a more magical day.

We had the most wonderful experience at Hoffman Haus. We rented out all the rooms for our wedding, and it felt like stepping into a storybook. The property has such a romantic, intimate atmosphere with its English cottage style and secret garden charm—it truly set the tone for a beautiful celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make everything feel seamless and warm. Every detail felt thoughtful, and their kindness made the whole weekend even more special. Having the entire place to ourselves made it feel private and personal, almost like our own little retreat. If you’re looking for a venue that is both timeless and enchanting, Hoffman Haus is perfect. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience we’ll remember

We used the Westin Austin at the Domain for our room block for our wedding. Wei at the Westin was super easy to work with and very communicative throughout the entire planning process. When we arrived she made sure we had everything we need and all of our guests were checked in with no issues. If you’re getting married anywhere near the Domain I recommend using the Westin!

This was the most dreamy venue I could have ever asked for. We wanted an outside area under a tree for the ceremony (nailed it), and an indoor ballroom for reception (it had 8 chandeliers.. so dreamy), and onsite food (their food from Goodall's had raving reviews from our guests. We even had a few say it was the best wedding food they had ever had!!) They provided a personal VIP concierge for my husband and I throughout the entire reception, the events manager Molly was a doll and quickly responded to anything and everything, and the vintage vibe fit my taste and personality so much. 100% 10/10 recommend. The venue can hold 200. We had about 80 guests.

I would get married at the W over and over and over again. Our coordinator at the W, Molly, was the best. She was very accommodating and incredibly easy to work with. All the staff on the day of the wedding were great. They had a specific person in charge of making sure me and my husband had everything we needed throughout the day. My vision for the wedding was easily achievable at the W. My guests could not stop raving about the food and the cake. We chose the 'stations' food option and it was all DELICIOUS. I would not have changed a thing!

The entire team at Omni Barton Creek made my wedding day a truly spectacular event. It's definitely one of the more expensive options for Austin wedding venues, but in my opinion it was worth every penny. My catering manager (Whitney Hodges) was simply flawless. Her attention to detail, professionalism and enthusiasm set the bar high for all of my wedding vendors. It should come as no surprise that many of my vendors were recommended by Barton Creek ... and they were all fantastic. I cannot thank Whitney and the rest of her incredible staff enough for making my wedding day everything that I've always dreamed it could be! The resort managed to create a very memorable wedding weekend for all of our guests, most of whom are still raving about what an amazing time they had :)
