Brodie Homestead is a rustic, yet modern wedding venue located in Austin, Texas. This property was established in 1949 by John and Charlotte Weaver who utilized part of the building as a barn for their farm animals. Since then, it has been renovated, but its impressive cathedral-like ceilings and limestone walls are still in place.
Facilities and Capacity
Brodie Homestead invites couples to celebrate their love and commitment at this charming location. The elegant indoor spaces set the stage for weddings with their exposed wood beam ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and recycled maple wood floors. Rafter lighting and dimmed Edison-bulb globe lights create a warm, intimate ambience for any event. A unique hanging plank system delicately holds floral arrangements above the dining and dancing areas. The impressive limestone walls can display decor such as string lights, florals and greenery, and draping to further enhance the room. Custom drapery can also be used to divide the space into separate areas. The building itself is bordered by outdoor walkways and lush greenery which can be used as refreshing backdrops for photos. Couples and their wedding parties are able to prepare for the festivities and relax in the property’s two get-ready rooms.

Every corner of the venue is picture-perfect, and they made sure everything was spotless for our big day.

The Best Venue in Austin!
Throughout the planning process, Juliana was extremely responsive, accommodating, and helpful. We used many of the preferred vendors and were beyond impressive by the quality of service we received. The venue is beautiful without any flowers or decorations so with some additions, it was absolutely stunning!
We had a high guest count and almost all our guests were flying in, so we wanted a venue that was close to downtown (where everyone would be staying) and the Brodie Homestead was perfect! We used a lot of the in house furniture and everything was exactly what we needed. All the tables and chairs were set up for us in advance and broken down at the end of the night which really helped make the day run smoothly.
Since the Brodie Homestead is mostly indoors (we ended up having a bar outside as well as cocktail tables and lights to give guests an option to go outside) we didn't have to worry about a rain plan - this took a lot of stress off our planning and it ended up being a beautiful, sunny day!
Overall, working with Juliana at the Brodie Homestead for our wedding made the planning a breeze and we were told by many of our guests that our venue was magnificent! We cannot recommend the Brodie Homestead enough!
