We had our wedding in February with just 40 guests. We were able to hold the ceremony right outside of the Driscoll Villa and the reception inside. Laguna Gloria has been one of our favorite places in Austin and when looking for a venue it was out top choice. We were focused on making sure we had an easy indoor plan if it was really cold but also wanted something artsy with nature. In addition, being ADA accessible was super important - my dad is in a big power wheelchair and his comfort and ability to enjoy the venue was one of our top priorities. Laguna Gloria provided all of that for us. The area around the Villa was easy for dad to navigate, they also provided an additional ramp for one part of the Villa that is slightly raised. The elevator helped him access the different floors. Overall our wedding was more than we could have imagined. The venue is beautiful, our family loved being able to walk around during cocktail hour. With our size of wedding, the Villa was perfect. Our guitarist said it was one of the coolest wedding locations he's played at. We also worked with Austin Elite and Premier Events for catering staff and rentals and they were very familiar with the venue and made everything run perfectly smooth. We had two long banquet tables in the main room of the Villa for dinner. The buffet line for the cocktail hour and dinner was in the tea room. The bar was in the dining room. We had cocktail tables throughout for standing inside and outside. The string lights that are part of the venue permanently were perfect for evening lighting. If we had expected people to venture further from the Villa after the sun went down we would have wanted to rent more lights but we didn't need to for our size. With 40 people everything fit perfectly. We were also able to keep the decor simple because the building itself is already so naturally beautiful. Dominique at Laguna Gloria was super flexible with us. We planned our wedding super quickly (within 3 months) so that my dad could be there. We started out wanting to do their elopement package but our guest list quickly grew. She was patient with all of our emails and questions and decision making and worked with our coordinator (Epoch Events Co) to make sure we had a great wedding. We absolutely fell in love with Umlauf Sculpture Garden the moment we saw it, and it ended up being the perfect venue for our wedding this past Friday 3/27/2026. The setting is special, surrounded by beautiful sculptures, lush greenery, ponds, waterfalls, string lights— it’s a hidden gem right in Austin. So many of our guests commented on how unique and “Austin” it felt. Farwah and Kristen were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. As we opted to forego a planner, I had plenty of detailed questions over the 10 months leading up to the wedding. They were always quick to respond and provide detailed guidance. That said, it’s important to know that this isn’t a traditional, all-inclusive wedding venue. There are logistical considerations like parking, noise ordinances, the fact that it’s a working museum… We chose to work with preferred caterers and rentals since the museum is open to the public until 4pm and vendors can’t set up earlier. We also chose to get ready offsite. Planning ahead and considering logistics for your day is key, and note that there isn’t an indoor ceremony or reception space— account for tents & climate control in your budget. For us, it was absolutely worth it! It was the perfect size for our ~60 guests and created such an intimate, memorable atmosphere on the terrace and side lawn. The ceremony arbor is just beautiful. We wouldn’t have changed a thing! It felt so “us” and our guests absolutely loved it. Got gorgeous photos. We live nearby and came by the day after just to stroll around and enjoy the sculptures (you get an annual membership if you get married here, super cool!). And we love that we can just walk on over anytime now and continue to visit & enjoy the place we got married :) looking forward to more of the rotating art and museum events to come. The lawn and grounds are absolutely stunning, even if a little wet out like it was on our day. The dining room and reception area are well designed and decorated so even if the weather keeps you inside you will not be disappointed. There are so many beautiful details at VOSH, the venue really speaks for itself and photographs so well. It doesn’t require any extra decor but allows for all the ways you want to make it your own (drapes, photobooth, florals, chandeliers in the trees etc.) There is a secret garden for a quick private moment after the ceremony and ample lounge areas that make the perfect environment for guests to enjoy themselves during the reception. The owners are so easy to work with and are committed to achieving your event vision. Thank you Sidonee and Larry, our day was perfect!

You can’t find a better venue in Austin, Texas.I went to 15 Venues and Vintage Villas was the last one I viewed. Right when i walked in, I knew that I found the perfect place. It encompassed views of the lake, stone and greenery. And don’t get me started on how perfect the sunsets are. You can’t get much better than that! We used Alexandria Gallegos as our wedding planner at Vintage Villas and she was excellent throughout the entire process. Calm, cool and collected. Know how to get everything done and run it smoothly. I was so happy I could put my trust into her. The venue provides all the food and alcohol which makes planning that much easier. It’s just simply CLASSY! If you’re on your search, you should definitely include this venue!

This chapel is absolutely gorgeous, the picture & views don’t do it justice. The Spanish-style architecture is so picturesque, my family & friends back home mistakenly thought my elopement was somewhere in Europe. I originally envisioned my venue to be somewhere mountainside in Colorado, but this chapel embodies the theme as well. It’s hillside, a long walk down the aisle in gravel, (fyi especially in uncomfortable heels) but the scenery makes it so worth it. You can easily see why it’s such a popular destination for a wedding venue. Every time I think back & ask myself “what if” I went with this venue instead, I’m reminded how breathtaking the whole property is. Even though the actual chapel is super small, it’s so inviting & intimate. It evokes a warmth about it; it’s exactly the kind of romantic simplicity I was striving to achieve. From the dressing rooms, to infinite nature photo opportunities - the tradition of ringing the bell as soon as you say I-do, this venue is beyond your expectations.

The Allan House was the perfect venue for our wedding! The staff was amazing from start to finish. All of our emails and many questions were answered promptly throughout the wedding planning process. The wedding day itself was smooth, and we loved having a venue that was within Austin city limits. It was an easy commute for our guests, and we had access to all the fun that Austin has to offer. Additionally, we could really customize the vendors, set up, and vibe of the wedding through this venue. The team at Allan House has put on so many weddings, and everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Thank you so much Juliana, Alex, and everyone at The Allan House!!!

We had a great experience with the Lakeway Resort and Spa as our wedding venue. Alex Folden was so wonderful to work with! She responds to emails and calls very quickly, and will work with you to ensure you are getting what you want. She is personable, sweet, and fun, and made the planning process much more enjoyable. This is a great venue if you are having a lot of out of town guests. About 90% of our guests were from out of town, and Lakeway offers so many amenities - very few of our guests ventured outside of the resort at all over the weekend because there was so much for them to do and enjoy on site. On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly! If there were any issues that day, I was not aware of them. They were very professional in everything they did, and I was truly amazed at how knowledgeable and how well trained the entire staff was. We used the Vistas Ballroom for both our ceremony and reception, so they had to flip the room in about an hour - they did a fantastic job!! Everything looked perfect for both the ceremony and the reception. The Vistas Ballroom is INCREDIBLE - unlike any other ballroom I've ever seen, with 3 of 4 walls as windows overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. The food was also AMAZING! Many of our guests commented (and still say) that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. When we tried the food at our tasting, we were blown away at how great everything was, but still thought when serving it for 150-200 people, no way it would be as good at the wedding. We were very wrong - it was just as good, if not better. We served filet with macaroni & cheese, and veggies. Everyone's steaks were cooked PERFECTLY and the mac & cheese had great flavor and was super creamy - no clue how they managed to cook perfect meals for that many guests. During the tasting, when we wanted to change small things, they were very accommodating and made our meal exactly what we wanted.

My husband and I hosted our wedding at Star Hill Ranch in September 2025 and we only have wonderful things to say about Star Hill Ranch. Planning a wedding can be a very intimidating process, but Matt and his team at Star Hill Ranch made it easy, smooth, and such a fun and positive experience. Working with Matt, Renee, and the rest of their team was amazing. Star Hill Ranch allows for a customizable experience and they work with you and your budget so you can plan the wedding of your dreams. We had the best time planning our wedding and our special day was flawless, beautiful, and simply the best day ever. Star Hill Ranch provides such a unique space with beautiful outdoor and indoor options, perfect for any wedding vision, season, weather, and event size. We are already thinking of the next event we can have at Star Hill Ranch!

I couldn't recommend The Oasis enough! The coordinator, Beth, was seriously AMAZING!!!! With being an out of state bride, I was a bit nervous being so "hands off" for my wedding, but Beth was in constant communication with me and made everything run SO SMOOTH! I probably emailed her over 100 times and she always answered every question I had in a timely manner! She is very experienced so she was able to suggest things to us that just made sense for our wedding day! I was seriously not stressed the entire time leading up to the wedding because I felt so confident in The Oasis and Beth! And don't get me started about the actual day.. she went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel comfortable - asking us if we needed anything throughout the entire morning/afternoon leading up to the ceremony. She even put on my 5 year old sons boutonniere when I was on the struggle bus! We were in the Sunset Room and I LOVED it! The views were amazing and the reception space was the perfect amount of room for our wedding. If you're on the fence about venues, check out The Oasis on Lake Travis!!!
