Wedding Venues in Wimberley

We cannot say enough wonderful things about OGR and their staff! Perfection from the gorgeous flowers to every detail, it was just magical and amazing! Thank you for such an incredible night for our daughter’s wedding!

I cannot recommend The Waters Point enough! When looking for venues, we wanted a unique venue in the hill country with a beautiful property to give us an outdoor, romantic scenery. TWP delivered that and more! The moment we stepped onto the property, it took my breath away! There were so many awesome placed to take pictures and my photographer loved the options and views - especially on the river during golden hour. Its an absolute hidden gem and you would never know you are right next to downtown Wimberley. Through the planning process, Natalie, Chelsea, and the rest of the coordinating team were so accommodating and went above and beyond for my husband and I to make our day better than we could ever expect! They offered great packages which includes SO much and at a great rate. Bonus for us was having lodging on onsite as an option for not just myself but the bridal party and extended family so that we were able to make our wedding a weekend full of celebration. Thank you SO MUCH to the TWP crew for everything - I will recommend you all over and over again!

I love everything about this venue, from the venue spaces to the people to the lush grounds! The team is responsive, helpful, and fun to work with. The large windows in the reception space make it feel like you are outside!

By far the best decision I made when planning my wedding was booking this venue - truly. The guests absolutely loved it, the pictures were gorgeous, and Greg was so nice to work with. I'm not kidding when I say I would live there if I could. We had the rehearsal dinner there as well and it worked out great. My whole wedding party stayed on property the whole weekend and it was so nice to get to spend the extra time together. The areas are easy for vendors to use and unload in. The views at the ceremony area are unreal - panoramic hill country meadows, uninterrupted by houses or developments. It honestly was a dream. If I could do it all again, I would book Inspiring Oaks one hundred times over. I really cannot say enough good things, this venue made my wedding special and I'm so thankful to them!

We had tons of events in the 3 days we were here, and whatever we wanted to do was made possible thanks to Sherry and everyone at Cypress Falls! Some highlights: setting up an outdoor movie, moving karaoke night to a different day to accommodate us, handing out check-in gifts, and making sure things ran smoothly when it stormed in the middle of the wedding. I am truly grateful for everything they did. Our guests felt at home, and we felt like we could just lean in and experience the wedding instead of worrying about things or keeping track of time. It truly felt like a summer camp style resort for just our friends and family. We had so much fun that we are trying to come up with another excuse to host an event here in a few years! Kudos to other amazing vendors: Hand Drawn Photo Booth, Ryan Rose Photography, Duchess Garden Floral, Blush and Bangs, Slab BBQ, Pie Jacked, Pie Bar, Cody Tinnin music.

Traci and WCC staff couldn't have been more helpful and easy to work with. I would have no hesitation recommending them to others hosting events.

Rocky River Ranch is a girl's camp during the summer, but they will rent the location for weddings in the fall and spring. We rented out the camp, so we were able to let guests stay in the cabins on the ranch. Rocky River has great river access to the Blanco river, so we got married down by the river. The trees and river looked gorgeous! We had the reception there as well - they have a room with a stage, bar, and good size dance floor. I would highly recommend it!

This venue has it all! Its in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! It has a gorgeous guest house with separate area for the groom! The Bridal suite was fabulous! The staff were absolutely amazing!

We had an incredible wedding weekend at Messina Inn. I had a lot of family flying in so it was incredible to be able to spend time with them the whole weekend and not feel rushed. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Everything was perfect from the flowers, to the food and the cake. I truly am so grateful and would highly recommend this venue and Cherri as a wedding planner!

The Cedars Ranch was our 3rd of 3 venues we visited before deciding on our wedding venue, and we immediately fell in love. Located in Wimberley, TCR was the perfect space for us. We wanted a venue with a laid back feel, and this was 100% it. The ceremony site with the trees was a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony, and their plaza area was perfect for our reception. We had dinner and dancing in the big reception hall with bistro tables spilling into the plaza for people who wanted to enjoy the April evening away from a rowdy dance floor. We were able to set up cornhole and a slideshow in the outdoor plaza and we really enjoyed the flow this allowed our reception to have. The owners, Bill and Marilyn, are two of the kindest people we’ve come across during this whole wedding planning adventure, and answered every question we had. In addition to the wedding, we had our rehearsal dinner on-site Friday evening, and my husband and I got to stay in the luxury yurt on the premises Saturday night. It was so nice to be able to stay on the property and wake up surrounded by nature following such a high-pressure day. Additionally, we hired their venue coordinator, Elise Soehnlein, as our day-of coordinator and she was really one of the shining stars for us through this whole process. Whatever possible gaps we had on the wedding weekend, Elise covered. Since she works for the venue, she had all the answers and suggestions. In addition to helping manage all our vendors, she was also so attentive- during the reception she saw me get pulled into a conversation on my way to grab a drink and next thing I knew she was handing me a cup of water. She was a freakin’ rockstar. As far as I’m concerned, if you’re getting married at TCR, hiring Elise is an absolute must!
