Facilities and Capacity
Mountain Top Resort offers a total of 12 “rustic-luxe” indoor and outdoor event spaces—including a three-story barn—with room for anywhere from two to 300 guests. Hold your ceremony on The Knoll, which overlooks the lake and expansive property, and move to The Barn or The Lakefront Pavilion for your reception.
Accommodations
With classic & luxury lodge rooms and suites, cabins, and guest houses (a handful are pet friendly), Mountain Top Resort offers flexibility to meet all of the lodging requirements for your wedding weekend. Your wedding party, family, and friends will stay onsite and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere while helping to celebrate your big day. Complimentary on-property shuttle service and self-parking are available. Wireless internet is provided.

Mountain Top Resort provides dedicated event coordinators for each event and offers full service wedding salon, floral/decor services and a wide variety of actvities (including horse drawn sleigh rides) on-site. Full catering and bar services are offered on-site. Expert event coordinators will assist you in outlining the details of your day and oversee all set up, service, and clean up. Enjoy your choice of bar services, including open bar, cash bar. Choose from a wide selection of house and specialty wines, beer and liquor. Standard barware, glassware, china, and flatware, as well as table rounds & charivari chairs, are provided. The resort also offers options for the following:

All menus are customizable based on the couple’s preferences. If you or your guests have dietary concerns, gluten-free, nut-free, kosher, pork-free, lactose-free, nut-free, vegan, vegetarian, and organic recipes are available. Absolutely Magical !!
Since our first introduction to Khele and the whole Mountain Top staff, they provided a truly magical experience. To say that we were blessed and could not have done it without Miranda and Zoey (our coordinators) would be a complete understatement. Throughout the whole process, it was extremely comforting and reassuring to know that Miranda and Zoey were just a phone call or email away. They were both extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. From the start they were there to answer our many questions that arise from planning a winter destination wedding, provide guidance on different options, kept us on track for all our important deadlines, brought all our visions to reality on our special day, and so much more than we could list.
As many people would say, we are huge “foodies”. When asked about weddings, most people would say the thing they remembered most was whether the food was good. In the case of Mountain Top (in addition to the all-on-property experience and breathtaking mountain view mentioned before), the food is certainly memorable. Whether it was the rehearsal dinner, hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour, meals at the reception, or late-night snacks, every item of food was phenomenal. Words just simply could not do justice to describe how incredible the food tasted. Our friends and family are still ranting and raving about the food!
Gayle and her staff at Meadow’s Edge Floral are incredible and would whole-heartedly recommend them for your floral / décor. We could not thank them enough for all the décor (greenery / bouquets / boutonnieres / ice luminaries / table centerpieces and everything in between). Every detail from rehearsal dinner to the reception was truly spectacular and transformed the spaces into something more than we could have ever imagined! All the small special touches made it that much more enchanting.
Mountain Top was everything a couple could wish for in a wedding venue and more. We will continue to recommend it to family / friends and plan to visit again soon!

Easily, the Mountain Top Inn is among the best wedding venues, if not, THE best wedding venue in Vermont. The food and view of the Chittenden reservoir is always second to none and the staff is friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Mountain Top Inn for your wedding, or any other function... you will be glad you did!
Beautiful views of the countryside and the new barn is a great addition. I love to bring my cakes to the Mountain Top and be part of the action there.
I first photographed a wedding at The Mountaintop Inn & Resort in July of 2004. Not only is the location breathtaking, but the staff went out of their way to make sure the guests and vendors had whatever they needed. I was extremely impressed with the ease in which the days events flowed and how pleasant it was to be working at this venue. The guests were able to be there for the weekend and many of them commented to me how fabulous the resort was and how relaxed they were able to feel at this wedding. I didn't want the night to end! This has been the case consistently over the years and the Mountain Top remains one of my favorite places to photograph weddings. Very highly recommended!
