Idena and Mike were our favorite vendors and incredibly talented photographers. We first did our engagement photo shoot and she was able to make us both feel comfortable right away and suggest great photos and poses for camera shy people. On the day of our wedding we met Mike as well and he was equally talented and charming. The two of them captured our day perfectly and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that asks me!

If I had to plan my wedding all over again, the very first thing I would do would be to hire Idena again. From the very first time I saw her pictures, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. Idena captured every single moment without you even realizing she was standing right there. She had the experience to find the most perfect backdrops, tell you how to pose without making anything seemed forced, and TRULY let us have our day and be ourselves. Absolutely incredible couple to work with! Idena and her husband, Mike, we’re extremely professional and I received SO many compliments from friends stating it was the best photography they’ve seen. Wow- where do I begin? Idena Beach is not only an incredibly talented photographer but more importantly, an incredibly kind, generous and supportive person. I booked Idena for my July 16th wedding because I loved her photography. It's in the moment, vibrant and you can truly feel the emotion behind her work. What I didn't know when I booked Idena was that she'd stick out as the most incredible vendor I'd work with throughout my wedding planning process. I explained to Idena "my vibe" in a very round about, half making sense way and yet she just got it. After a couple of Instagram interactions and emails I felt like she really took the time to figure out what I couldn't articulate about what I wanted for my photos and how to accomplish them. When I needed a new florist 7 months out from the wedding- Idena sent me options and ultimately, one of those options turned into the florist of my dreams! Idena goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for her clients. Despite not meeting until the Friday of our wedding weekend, I felt like she was a friend. She fully met us exactly where we were at and embraced our slight chaotic, at times a bit inappropriate and wild group and just got right in there to capture the magic of the weekend. Oh, did I mention her incredible partner, husband and videographer Mike was as fun, down for anything and professional as she was? They truly are a dynamic duo. My husband and I's friends were a WILD bunch and these two really kept up. From the first look pictures on the wedding day throughout the dance party- Idena and Mike were right there, in the action, not missing a MOMENT. And when it came time to select a song for our wedding video- of course, Idena hit the nail on the head the first try with her song idea. She truly takes the time to get to know the couples she works with and that is priceless. Oh also- we ran almost an hour a head of schedule the entire wedding day because Idena and Mike were so on it, making sure we got the shots but not taking more time than needed. No one felt exhausted or frustrated by the pictures- everyone was just enjoying themselves! Do not hesitate- HIRE THEM! She is worth every (very fairly priced) penny and I am forever grateful to have had her capture our special day. Thank you endlessly Idena and Mike.

Hiring Idena is the single best decision you can make for your wedding other than marrying your fiance. There I said it. My husband and I started looking for a photographer knowing that we would be hard to please. We wanted to find someone who would capture the small moments throughout the day and would display the personality of our family and friends. Not just pose and snap. The second we saw Idena’s work and met her in person we knew our photo prayers were answered. She is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet which is so important to have in a photographer who will be with you all day. We had an amazing experience with her for our engagement photo session in Stowe, VT that we knew our wedding day photos would go off without a hitch. The day of our wedding Idena and Mike showed up early and immediately clicked with our entire wedding party and other vendors. Our bridal party is still talking about how fun they were to be with. Idena came HIGHLY recommended to us from the venue we had chosen for our daughter's wedding. After admiring her lovely website and speaking to her on the telephone we quickly booked her. And we are all sooooo glad we did! She was amazing! First of all, she helped us with our day-of schedule by making excellent suggestions. I knew Idena was my dream wedding photographer before we even got engaged! When it came time to pick a photographer it was a no-brainer. We like to describe her photography style as "real life but better", and that's what she and Mike captured for us on our wedding day. I'm a high stress person typically, but I knew that photos weren't something I had to think twice about because they had it handled completely and helped our day run smoothly even when things much outside of their control (or job description) needed some help. We had an unfortunate situation with our DJ and when Idena saw I was upset she took the time to sit with us and calm our stress and then whisk us away while things were taken care of. Mike jumped into action to make sure speeches were happening on time and get cords set up for us to keep the music going. They went above and beyond what we could have ever expected, and even more they were so kind and supportive in the days following our wedding. Our wedding day ended up being even better than we could have imagined because we had amazing vendors like Idena and Mike and they captured the beautiful moments following with our friends and family that we will never forget. We are absolutely obsessed with our photos and couldn't have asked for a better team to be apart of our day!
