Idena and Mike were our favorite vendors and incredibly talented photographers. We first did our engagement photo shoot and she was able to make us both feel comfortable right away and suggest great photos and poses for camera shy people. On the day of our wedding we met Mike as well and he was equally talented and charming. The two of them captured our day perfectly and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that asks me! -

Idena and her husband Mike were absolutely amazing!! They helped make our wedding so special. They were so sweet and fun, we felt so comfortable around them and they did such beautiful work. Absolutely incredible couple to work with! Idena and her husband, Mike, we’re extremely professional and I received SO many compliments from friends stating it was the best photography they’ve seen. They felt like family. I will forever be a fan of their work. Anyone in the VT area NEEDS TO HIRE THEM! You won’t be disappointed. She captured all the special moments with the best lighting and the wedding video was sensational. Would recommend her 10000%!! -

Wow- where do I begin? Idena Beach is not only an incredibly talented photographer but more importantly, an incredibly kind, generous and supportive person. I booked Idena for my July 16th wedding because I loved her photography. It's in the moment, vibrant and you can truly feel the emotion behind her work. What I didn't know when I booked Idena was that she'd stick out as the most incredible vendor I'd work with throughout my wedding planning process. I explained to Idena "my vibe" in a very round about, half making sense way and yet she just got it. After a couple of Instagram interactions and emails I felt like she really took the time to figure out what I couldn't articulate about what I wanted for my photos and how to accomplish them. When I needed a new florist 7 months out from the wedding- Idena sent me options and ultimately, one of those options turned into the florist of my dreams! Idena goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for her clients. Despite not meeting until the Friday of our wedding weekend, I felt like she was a friend. She fully met us exactly where we were at and embraced our slight chaotic, at times a bit inappropriate and wild group and just got right in there to capture the magic of the weekend. Oh, did I mention her incredible partner, husband and videographer Mike was as fun, down for anything and professional as she was? They truly are a dynamic duo. My husband and I's friends were a WILD bunch and these two really kept up. From the first look pictures on the wedding day throughout the dance party- Idena and Mike were right there, in the action, not missing a MOMENT. And when it came time to select a song for our wedding video- of course, Idena hit the nail on the head the first try with her song idea. She truly takes the time to get to know the couples she works with and that is priceless. Oh also- we ran almost an hour a head of schedule the entire wedding day because Idena and Mike were so on it, making sure we got the shots but not taking more time than needed. No one felt exhausted or frustrated by the pictures- everyone was just enjoying themselves! Do not hesitate- HIRE THEM! She is worth every (very fairly priced) penny and I am forever grateful to have had her capture our special day. Thank you endlessly Idena and Mike. -

Hiring Idena is the single best decision you can make for your wedding other than marrying your fiance. There I said it. My husband and I started looking for a photographer knowing that we would be hard to please. We wanted to find someone who would capture the small moments throughout the day and would display the personality of our family and friends. Not just pose and snap. The second we saw Idena’s work and met her in person we knew our photo prayers were answered. She is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet which is so important to have in a photographer who will be with you all day. We had an amazing experience with her for our engagement photo session in Stowe, VT that we knew our wedding day photos would go off without a hitch. The day of our wedding Idena and Mike showed up early and immediately clicked with our entire wedding party and other vendors. Our bridal party is still talking about how fun they were to be with. Not to mention the photos came out AMAZING. We even had someone ask us if they were going in a magazine because they were so stunning. Idena and Mike captured every moment and small detail. Nothing felt too staged. Hire Idena immediately. Your search is over! -

I knew Idena was my dream wedding photographer before we even got engaged! When it came time to pick a photographer it was a no-brainer. We like to describe her photography style as "real life but better", and that's what she and Mike captured for us on our wedding day. I'm a high stress person typically, but I knew that photos weren't something I had to think twice about because they had it handled completely and helped our day run smoothly even when things much outside of their control (or job description) needed some help. We had an unfortunate situation with our DJ and when Idena saw I was upset she took the time to sit with us and calm our stress and then whisk us away while things were taken care of. Mike jumped into action to make sure speeches were happening on time and get cords set up for us to keep the music going. They went above and beyond what we could have ever expected, and even more they were so kind and supportive in the days following our wedding. Our wedding day ended up being even better than we could have imagined because we had amazing vendors like Idena and Mike and they captured the beautiful moments following with our friends and family that we will never forget. We are absolutely obsessed with our photos and couldn't have asked for a better team to be apart of our day! -

Blown away by this wedding photography team!
I almost didn't leave a review for Idena and Mike bc they are TOO good that I truly didn't know where to start! I'm not sure how, but Idena and Mike captured every pure emotional moment at our wedding in addition to giving us the most beautiful portraits as well. I've never been more impressed. They were able to capture and portray moments of pre-wedding excitement/nerves, the seriousness and intensity of the ceremony, and the constant laughter and joy in our faces during the reception. Idena and Mike are the sole reason that we will get to look back and remember every moment, every feeling, and see all the important people in our lives celebrating with us. We could not be more grateful and happy for these photos. Side note - it was practically blizzarding on our wedding, and they managed to make us look perfect in heavy snow downfall, never complained or seemed uncomfortable in the cold/snow, and we have the most monumental photos to show for it. We love them -

if I could give Idena and Mike a 5,000 star review, I would!!!! from the kindness of their souls, to the comfort they made my husband and I feel on our wedding day, to the quality of pictures...they completely BLEW US AWAY!! Idena and Mike, I will never forget you both & I can't thank you enough for capturing the greatest day of our lives. Wow-- where do we even begin? Idena (and Mike!) were absolutely incredible. We started planning pre-COVID and when I saw Idena's photos, I knew right away that I wanted to work with her...what I didn't realize was how incredible she would be to work with throughout the entire planning process. She answered all of my questions (and there were many!) and helped reassure us during the craziness of COVID wedding planning. Then-- the day of, she was seamless. I felt so at ease with her (even though we are so awkward in front of the camera!), and we just had a great time. It started raining exactly when we were supposed to take family portraits, about 45 min before the ceremony, and she kept me calm -- and made me laugh when she yelled, "Can someone get the bride a drink?!" She and Mike were lifesavers. Beyond all this-- the photos are absolutely stunning and more than we could have ever dreamed of. She captured everything perfectly, and I can't stop looking at them! I've had multiple people tell me her photos are the BEST they have ever seen, and I agree. We are so thankful we went with Idena and would recommend her and Mike to anyone--we are so lucky and I would consider her a friend!! -

The most amazing!
Idena was an absolute delight to work with - from the moment we first reached out to inquire about her services to the day of our wedding. For a couple who is not the most comfortable in front of the camera, she put us at ease and made the experience fun for both of us. We loved having the engagement shoot to get to know her and her style, and the pictures turned out amazing. While we planned to have Idena and her husband shoot photos and video at our wedding of 125 guests, due to COVID, we ended up moving forward with a small ceremony with our immediate families. She captured the intimacy, love, and happiness perfectly. Idena's talent, professionalism, and demeanor is unmatched. We cannot recommend her enough! -

When Janet and I first met Idena we knew she was a true professional, however, as we worked with her, we found out very quickly she was also an incredible artist. She photographed our Engagement pics outside by Kent Pond and Killington Mountain and despite the cold blustery breezes, they came out gorgeous.
> We had to reschedule our Wedding plans of over 100 people and reduce to 19 guests plus the priest due to Covid restrictions. During this extremely difficult time, Idena was very supportive of whatever we both needed to do. We ended up having a very intimate beautiful wedding at Our Lady of the Snows, followed by a great intimate reception at Simon Pearce. I have to mention, Idena was easygoing and very supportive of our “Plan B” wedding. Idena was phenomenal and so calm to work with us every step of our wedding day July 5, 2020, she made us feel like we were the only people in the world. Our family also commented on her professionalism and patience with everyone. Idena gets 5 stars in our book.
> Weddings are stressful to plan, however during Covid it brought stress to another level. We feel truly blessed as it was a true miracle to have had a beautiful wedding during this time in history. We were all so fortunate and happy to work with Idena as her work is impeccable. The covered bridge; the mass, the waterfalls and Woodstock Inn photos were so beautiful. Not to mention the proofs and our final wedding album were sent in a very timely and extremely professional manner. We would highly Recomended Idena if you are looking for a true artist and photographer who will enhance your wedding Day. Easygoing Idena made me feel comfortable instantly. I'm usually the one behind the camera, and felt very nervous about being captured while getting ready, walking down the aisle, dancing, etc. We chatted, we laughed, she captured tender moments planned and unplanned. A thunderstorm arrived just 5 minutes after the outdoor ceremony, so we all had to rush inside for most of the family photos. Idena was flexible and good-natured through it all, quick to come up with solutions. She even thought to capture the two of us later, after the rain had stopped and the sun had fallen—what became our favorite photo of the day! Simply a joy to work with. -

We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Idena. From the start, she was always quick to respond and very personable. After our first call where she talked us through her work and her package/a la carte options, we were not only very impressed but we immediately felt comfortable and excited to work with her. She reached out to us well in advance with a very thorough questionnaire to make sure we had everything we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she was joined by her husband, Mike, who was also just as great - the two of them work very well together. Though it was first thing in the morning, it was clear that we were already behind schedule and the both of them were beyond flexible, saying they could take other shots while we were getting ready. They did a great job of going with the flow which really calmed us all down. They had very creative ideas for picture shots and were willing to take anything we had requested - we have quite a large family so the list of shots we wanted were endless, and they covered them no problem - even on a very tight timeline. Throughout the night, they made sure we were having a great time and at the same time were invisible, never really sticking out or feeling like cameras were all over us. By our drive home the next day, we already had an email with around 60 “sneak peek” pictures, and they were AMAZING. We were so excited to already have a chance to share some with our family and friends. By the time we got back from our honeymoon three weeks later, the rest of the gallery was completely finished and available. We were truly in awe, along with the rest of our family and friends, at the quality and thorough amount of pictures taken. No special moment went uncultured, and ones we didn’t even realize had happened were on there too. By the end of the night we truly felt like we had made new friends with them.
The gallery is available online for 6 months for anyone to download seamlessly, which makes things very easy for us and our guests to pull any pictures we may want. The payment options are also super convenient and easy, you can do one full payment, auto-payments, or recurring payments, all while receiving email updates and reminders.
We had just the most wonderful time with these two and truly can’t thank them enough for capturing what has been the most special day of our lives. We 100% recommend Idena for your big day, you will be thrilled with your experience! -

Working with Idena and Mike was beyond perfect. When I read Idena's write up to explain her services and business what immediately stuck out to me was her mention of loving to capture human emotion. That stuck me in such a way I knew already she was the one. Not to mention how blown away I was with her photos! We had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot with her earlier in the year. We had an absolute blast! We were both actually sad when it ended and we had to wait so much longer before seeing her again. Finally our wedding day came around and we were reconnected! They truly opperate as such an incredible team and it shows. The groom and groomsmen had such a great time with Mike during their getting ready. The last think I expected when seeing a groomsmen after the event was to hear him specifically want to mention and rave about the photographer. Mike really made a lasting impression on them has they seemed to have so much fun it shows in the photos! Idena did an incrredible job capturing details and moments with me and all the ladies apart of our getting ready team. My ladies were just as impressed and thrilled with Idena and have been raving about her to everyone. I will say one of the most consistent compliments I keep getting even from strangers on friends posts is what a wonderful photos they are. Her work truly speaks for its self but beyond that is her incredible soul. It was an honor to have her share such sentimental moments with us. I would and will always highly recommend her to anyone who gives me a second of their ear. Now the hard part is choosing which photos to print and share because I can't show everyone the some odd 1000 or so photos we got. But if I could I would.. -

Idena captured all of our pure joyous and loving moments in the greatest way possible. We told her we did not want to spend a lot of time taking formal pictures, and she was able to capture every moment we hoped for without having us pull away from the party too long. We had a semi traditional Jewish wedding with many different parts across many different locations and she moved seamlessly and went with the flow not missing a beat. I also had the pleasure of having her in my suite while I got ready with my friends and she was so sweet and funny and brought nothing but good vibes right before the ceremony. Additionally, we did not want engagement photos and she was so accommodating in letting us purchase a package and use the hours for engagement photos instead on the wedding day- we are so thankful we were able to do that. She also sent us a preview of our photos lightening fast, and sent us our whole photo set in the fastest time out of any wedding photographer I've ever heard of! Everyone who sees our photos asks us immediately for her contact information, she's that good. AND her husband is great too! They added in video for us last minute and were so kind about all of our family requests and issues. All around the best experience, thank you so much Idena! We hope we get to hire you again in the future for other big life moments! -

Matthew Sent on 08/07/2018This review is an easy one to write, it's one of those reviews you don't have to think much about, and can't wait to sit down to put your thoughts and emotions into words. There truly is not a negative thing to say here. Idena and Mike are real people, like, the kind of people you want to tell to stop photographing you and to come join your reception...The type of people you would just want to hang out with at a bbq. This made our wedding shoot SO MUCH EASIER AND ENJOYABLE. Don't get me wrong, these guys are PRO'S, period. I mean, look at the website, look at our pictures, they are truly next level. The comments we got about both the digital and print copies of our photos were nothing short of pure awe. People were literally amazed at the way Idena was able to capture our wedding, our emotions, our nature...Everything about the day was captured to, dare I say, perfection. We hired Beach for our very small wedding (20 people) and were worried they would be in the way. Idena even warned us she might get annoying trying to get the right shots. They were not, and she was not, not even close. Mike took the role of getting shots of the the groom(me) and his crew pre-wedding ceremony, he fit right in, shared some laughs, made us feel comfortable and didn't demand anything cheesy or obnoxious, it was all very "go-with-the flow." Idena took the more important role (in my opinion) of shooting the bride getting ready, and my wife says she was warm and unobtrusive, and those pics were among the best of the bunch. The Beach crew then joined forces for the ceremony and reception, we had some ideas, they had some ideas, it was a happy marriage (insert smile) of ideas that came together for the ultimate wedding shoot (please note that their ideas were far better than ours). By the end of it my wife and I were enjoying the company of Idena and Mike as much as we were enjoying the company of the rest of our guests, we didn't want them to leave. They stayed longer than we booked them

Kelly Sent on 03/23/2018Hiring Idena as our photographer was one of the best things we could have done for our wedding. We had our wedding at the Mountain Top Inn in Chittenden VT which is quite a trek for us, so we had no clue where to start in search of vendors. We attended their food tasting and Idena was there with her husband and we immediately knew they were the ones we wanted to photograph our special day! Idena had me send her some ideas I had on Pinterest for her to review. The day of the wedding she remembered my ideas and she even caught the style of photography i wanted in all her photos! We were so excited when two days after the wedding we received a dozen sneak speak photos! Then two weeks after that the entire album!! If we ever need a professional photographer we will choose Idena! She has the best personality and mends well with any personalities.

Idena seems really sweet and compassionate when you speak to her during your consult! However, please beware that when you pay your deposit, she will keep every dime and there are absolutely no refunds even if she rebooks your date! My fiancé cheated, and we cancelled the wedding over nine months in advance. Idena refuses to pay back the $2k deposit and won’t even return my phone calls/emails.
