Carmine and the entire Hildene team were a well oiled machine. The food, the drinks, the music, the view, all were superb. All of our needs were met the second they arose. We were looking for a venue that combined beautiful, old world historic charm with the rustic, relaxed vibe we wanted for our wedding. Park-McCullough was perfect in every way. We were sold the moment we stepped onto the mansion’s gorgeous grounds, strolled through the beautiful gardens and strolled along the spacious covered veranda. The grounds, gardens, mansion and carriage house offer a huge variety of locations and options for each part of your wedding day. When some unexpected rain threw a wrench in our ceremony plans, we were able to shift gears and hold our ceremony on the expansive covered veranda, which turned out to be even more intimate and memorable than our original plan. The breathtaking photos of our wedding day captured both the historic interior and exterior of the venue, showcasing all the beautiful details that made us fall in love with the space. We also need to give a shoutout to Polly and her staff who patiently answered so many of our questions and was never anything but extremely kind and professional, even when plans changed multiple times and we asked so much of her. Our guests loved exploring and spending time at this historic venue and we loved being able to support a non-profit museum preserving such a unique piece of Vermont history. We can’t wait to continue visiting Park-McCullough over the years to remember the best day of our lives.

We took over all the rooms at Edson Hill for our guests for our mid-September wedding weekend and hosted our Friday night welcome BBQ and Saturday post-wedding pizza & s’mores after party there. We could not recommend Edson Hill more highly, both as a place to stay and as a venue to host a large wedding event. Edson Hill is a really special place, and Jesse, Kristen and the entire staff are wonderful people. The setting is idyllic Vermont at its best – rolling hillsides covered in foliage, a winding dirt road that takes you up to the main house, beautiful grounds to walk around on and so on. The rooms have been recently updated and are beautifully and luxuriously done, incredibly comfortable and reasonably priced for what they offer (we have stayed in both the Manor House rooms and some of the guest house rooms, and they’re all great). The food is some of the best we’ve had in Vermont or anywhere for that matter (we are from New York but spend a lot of time at my parents’ home in Vermont) – and amazingly the delicious meals we had experienced in the Edson Hill restaurant and at our tasting translated into equivalently delicious food done for 100+ people at our Friday night BBQ. Our guests raved about Edson Hill throughout the weekend – everyone loved their rooms, loved that everyone staying there was part of the wedding party and couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. I think many of our guests who had never been to Stowe are already planning second visits to stay at Edson Hill! A bit more on the Edson Hill staff – they were exceptional to work with leading up to the wedding, brought fantastic ideas to the table in terms of food and wine selection and made our tastings so fun and special. They did so many things over the course of the weekend to help make it even more special than it already was for us and our guests. Thank you so much Jesse and the entire Edson Hill team! We are so grateful to you for hosting us and can’t wait to be back!

We spent 2 years debating how and where we wanted to get married. The first time we visited The Notch House, we were so excited by it but not quite ready to commit, however, we continued our search for another year until we realized that we would never find anything comparable. We are so happy we did because there is absolutely no doubt in our minds that The Notch House was the perfect place to create our dream wedding weekend. The accommodations were ideal for our extended family and wedding party - we had 18 people stay onsite comfortably but the spaces can fit even more. Being able to keep our closest loved ones on-site for the entire celebration, made the whole weekend feel intimate and relaxed. The wedding barn is GORGEOUS and has many carefully considered touches and well-crafted finishes that make it more elevated and less rustic that most other barn venues you'll find in Vermont. It is very much a DIY space but it can lean in any direction depending on the theme and decor you go with. There are also many resources provided to couples by the venue during the planning process which really helped with planning from a distance. The outdoor spaces also allow for so many wonderful photo opportunities on the wedding day and multiple areas to hang out and relax on the days before and after the wedding. We lucked out with 60 degree weather in mid-October (along with some leaves on the trees) which made the experience extra magical. Finally, the people of The Notch House really solidified the choice for us. Polly was communicative and patient with our many questions and offered lots of helpful information early on. We ended up working with Kelly as our day-of coordinator and are so happy we did! Her intimate knowledge of the property, previous food and beverage experience, and experience with prior events at The Notch House made her an invaluable resource during our wedding planning process. She also patiently answered our many question leading up to the wedding and was incredibly helpful with the set up and day of the wedding as well. We truly couldn't have pulled it off without Kelly and Polly. If you want a fairy-tale experience for your wedding day, look no further than the Notch House! Lorraine Franklin runs an affair by the lake as if she is a wedding planner. She even makes a homemade brunch for us the morning of the wedding. If you have your wedding here you will not need to hire somebody to coordinate. From the beginning she was kind flexible and has an amazing attention to detail. The property is gorgeous you cannot find a better view of Lake Champlain! I could not be happier with where I chose to have my wedding

My son and his fiancé were married at the Windsor Mansion Inn in August. I cant say enough of how pleased we were with truly everything. Gayle, the manager/innkeeper was our contact person for the Rehearsal Dinner as she and her husband John run the Inn. Gayle was so warm and helpful. I liked her right away. She was very clear about everything and wanted to make it a great weekend for our family and friends. The Inn and the surrounding patio and garden areas were gorgeous and the views were stunning. We were extremely happy with the service and the beautiful surroundings. The Mansion itself is lovely with each guest room tastefully decorated with all of them a bit different than the next. I saw 5 different rooms and they were all charming, crisp and clean. We chose to have the Rehearsal Dinner party at the Inn as well as the wedding. We enjoyed excellent Salmon, Chicken and Lobster Ravioli. Because they are a B and B they don't handle wedding size crowds so the wedding was catered. But, they were able to easily handle our rehearsal dinner party of 28 guests for dinner . We had the entire Inn to ourselves as our guests were staying at the Inn. It is on top of a hill all by itself so it is entirely private. They had a bar available during non-wedding times and available for the after party as well. The wedding reception for 100 people was held on a huge tented trex deck adjoining the Inn and the beautiful patio. It was so convenient and accessible to everything. The bride scheduled a yoga session on the patio on the morning of the wedding as the sun came up. I can't say enough about the Windsor Mansion. Gayle and John were wonderful and felt like friends by the end. We could not have asked for a better wedding venue experience. It would be a great spot for a family or friend reunion since it has about 18 guest rooms. We found there was lots to do nearby.

I’ve been trying to come up with what to say about our wedding weekend at the Henry House and part of me has been putting off writing this review because it feels like the closing chapter of one of the most special journeys my husband and I have embarked on and the other part of me is just at a complete loss for words for how incredible our time was there. Back in December 2020, as we began discussing our engagement, I started exploring local venues on Zola and stumbled upon The Henry House. To our amazement, it was right in North Bennington, and we had never even heard of it – a true hidden gem! In January 2021, we scheduled a tour and were instantly charmed, not only by the historic homestead but also by our fantastic tour guide, Tom Sklepowicz. Believe it or not, we fell so in love with the place that we booked it before we were even officially engaged! Unlike many wedding venues today that require setup and tear down in one day, The Henry House offered so much more. It provided a place for family and friends to stay for the entire weekend, which was an absolute blessing. Throughout the entire planning process, owner Rebecca proved to be extremely communicative and helpful. The Sklepowicz family was there every step of the way to ensure that our wedding weekend ran without a hitch. Our guests were truly in awe of the beautiful grounds, from the charming chapel in the woods to the perfect cocktail hour area on the upper patio, complete with an adorable corn crib converted into a bar. With a full bridal suite and a massive homestead, along with an additional red barn Airbnb to rent, there was plenty of room for our families and bridal parties, as well as space for both partners to get ready on the property. The option to host our rehearsal dinner and even a farewell event on the property was a bonus, and their extensive vendor lists helped us find the perfect teams to complete our special day. Our time at The Henry House was an absolute dream and an experience that we consider truly priceless. If you're wondering if this wedding venue is the right fit for you, trust us – it is! Even more amazing, during the off-season, you can rent the house or barn as Airbnb accommodations for a special way to reminisce about your day with family and friends. We are certainly planning to do this at some point!

We were searching for a venue for our micro wedding of 25 guests where everyone could stay on site. We ended up having 19 guests stay, every couple/guest had their own room and most had their own bathroom. The owner was friendly and accommodating, meeting with us months before for a site visit, allowing us to check in early to start setting up, and helping us solve a frantic day of issue when the best man locked himself out of his room. Fabulous place and service, would highly recommend for any intimate gatherings! The courtyard, 2 kitchens, theater, hot tubs and pool, recently refinished basement game room made it a perfect mini getaway that everyone enjoyed!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Eden and it was better than we expected. Not only is the home large for lots of guests, perfectly furnished but they have thought of everything that could make it a magical stay. This is the cleanest, well appointed home we have rented. Communication was great and you can tell they care deeply about providing a great experience. 10/10 recommend!
