Hotel Wedding Venues in Burlington

We got married at the Pond Pavilion at the Equinox last September, and we are still dreaming about that day. The whole experience from planning with Ella, seeing the venue a year in advanced, being surrounded by the green mountains the whole time, was perfect. Growing up in southern Vermont, the Equinox is known as a quintessential Vermont location, and getting married there was always my dream. Thank you to everyone for making that come true and making me feel like a queen the whole time.

Our wedding coordinator, Kasey was fantastic! She listened and delivered on everything we needed and wanted. We had a beautiful day full of love and fun. We would recommend Jay Peak all the way around for future brides and grooms!!!

We got married at Hotel Saranac this past October and it was nothing short of magical. The ballroom and great hall are gorgeous and have such amazing character. The terrace overlooks part of town and is a beautiful location for a ceremony. Blake and Katie were kind and answered all my questions throughout the process. The day of event staff were helpful with a lot of small details I completely overlooked myself, especially setting up a beautiful dessert display. It was truly a perfect day, and we could not have chosen a better place to celebrate.

Wedding of my dreams at the Quechee Inn!!!!! It was truly an incredible weekend. We received so many compliments from guest on our wedding - from the scenery and the food/service to the intimacy of the ceremony on the front lawn. I could not have imagined a more perfect weekend. First, the staff were incredible. Britny, Michele and Rick were super responsive and attentive to our needs during the planning process. And not to mention, they are very kind and good people. Working with them was easy. All staff during the reception, Sunday brunch, and entire stay were exceptional. Second, you cannot beat the views at the Quechee Inn. With the hills in the background and kids running around in the field to guests enjoying s’mores by the bonfire during the dancing breaks, it was truly a unique day. Third, it was a super intimate ceremony and wedding. Getting to take over the Quechee Inn with your selection of guests for the weekend makes it a unique experience. Fourth, THE FOOD. Dinner portions are big, so your guests definitely won’t go hungry. The appetizers during cocktail hour were also superb. Brunch was delicious (try the pancakes). And finally, the drinks were amazing. Passing around his and her cocktails made a huge difference for our guests. I am running out of room to write, but you will not regret getting married at the Quechee Inn. Best decision I have ever made in my life!

My husband and I discovered Tälta after staying at another bluebird property in Saratoga. After getting engaged we decided to take a few days to look at venues throughout northern VT. I recommended we book a room at Tälta (that "cool hotel we wanted to check out"), not realizing it would up being our venue. When we walked into the lobby we were immediately taken back by the comfortable atmosphere and gorgeous property. Before we could finish our check in process we found ourselves asking if they did weddings. I can't emphasis enough just how much fun we had planning our wedding with the Tälta crew. Olivia, Sarah and Mike were communicative, creative, flexible, supportive and more. We ended up doing a property buy out so that we could have as many of our guests stay on the property as possible, which made the weekend all the more intimate, personal and just plain fun. Olivia and Sarah also helped us set up an additional room block with their sister property, Cady Hill Lodge for guest overflow, and we planned our welcome drinks at their other sister property, Field Guide Lodge. It made coordination of logistics so much easier, giving us the head space to focus on some of the more fun details of the weekend! We’ve had numerous people tell us that our wedding was the most fun and special wedding they’ve been to. Everyone loved being on the property - from the beautiful common spaces, to the amazing outdoor space, it was truly the perfect set up. Have your wedding at Tälta - the space is incredible, and the team you get to work with is even better!

We (early 30’s) had 3 “musts” for our wedding: an inclusive venue where our loved ones can stay on premise, a beautiful Vermont backdrop, and that nobody would leave hungry. The Wilburton hit all 3 of these and more! Housing: we had ~100 friends and family stay in the houses on the venue campus and in the historic mansion. Everyone was comfortable in the houses and the mansion and it was so much fun to walk around the campus knowing anyone we bumped into was a guest of the wedding. The bridal suite was also perfect in terms of spacing and set-up for getting ready and allowing us to be comfortable for the entire weekend. Having most people "on-campus" in addition to hosting the welcome bonfire, wedding ceremony + reception, and send-off breakfast at the same place made it even more special and simplified the logistics of the weekend for us and our guests. Natural Vermont Beauty: the views were INCREDIBLE. If you want the backdrop of your ceremony to be peak Vermont foliage, the back lawn is perfect! All our guests raved about the setting. Additionally, the Wilburton is tastefully decorated. The Mansion is a classic brick mansion with marble patios that ooze elegance without overshadowing nature. The owners (family run) also collect art that symbolizes love. These quirky statues are seen throughout the venue and just add charm to the event that keeps everyone intrigued in their surroundings without overshadowing the event itself. Our guests also loved exploring Manchester and we got so many compliments on the local hikes, stores, activities and even the beauty of their travels to the town. Nobody leaves hungry: the Wilburton is hands down the best wedding food we’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous (the passed apps during cocktail hour were great, too). The son in the family operates his own local farm supplying many of the ingredients, and you can tell how important the freshness of ingredients was in the flavors and quality of the meals. We’ve never seen so many people complement vegetables! Additionally, the entire Wilburton staff (set-up, servers, bartenders, etc.) led by Meesha is incredible. Meesha helped us stay organized and provided lots of resources that helped us choose vendors (all great) and make decisions that felt informed and stress free. She was also indispensable the weekend of the wedding, keeping us and our families on track, calm, excited and she thought of everything, including things we didn't even know to think about!

We hosted our entire wedding weekend at The Barrows House, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we began planning, Colleen was an absolute dream to work with: organized, warm, flexible, and so genuinely invested in making our celebration feel personal, elegant, and easy. She helped us bring every detail to life with grace and clarity. After knowing her for some time, I can genuinely say her and Zach (chef) abs the ENTIRE team is this way. Just special and singular. The venue itself is breathtaking: from the blooming ceremony arbor nestled among Vermont’s towering trees, to the timeless tented reception space filled with light, laughter, and flowers, to the cozy firepits and garden paths that gave guests room to explore and unwind. We held everything on-site: welcome dinner, ceremony, reception, after-party, and the seamless flow between spaces made it feel like an immersive weekend retreat. The food was excellent (people are still talking about the how this was the best wedding food ever!) and the staff was so kind and attentive throughout. Our guests loved staying on property, every room felt like a peaceful little escape, and it made the entire weekend feel intimate and grounded in connection. We trusted Colleen completely, and her experience and calm confidence let us truly enjoy every moment. She coordinated beautifully with our vendors and kept everything moving behind the scenes so we could focus on soaking up the joy. The Barrows House gave us not just a venue, but a feeling. A sense of ease, celebration, and beauty that we’ll carry with us forever. If you’re considering a Vermont wedding or event, this is your sign: say yes to Barrows. The resort is beautifully located in the mountains it was wonderfully decorated. The staff and I mean ALL the staff from the servers, bartenders and room attendants were amazing. Highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

Sleepy Hollow was the perfect setting for our wedding in August 2024. The venue is stunning, with gorgeous natural surroundings and a layout that feels both professionally designed and wonderfully wild. The landscaping blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a magical, nature-filled atmosphere that made our day feel intimate and unique. The on-site inn was a huge plus, allowing us to host many friends and family comfortably. Everyone had plenty of space, and it felt like a home away from home, adding to the warmth of the celebration. The staff were exceptional—friendly, communicative, and incredibly helpful. They truly went above and beyond, especially when an intense storm hit the night before our wedding. Power went out, trees were downed, and we were worried it might derail everything. But the team remained calm and focused, working tirelessly to address the issues and ensure our day was perfect. Thanks to their dedication, the wedding was spectacular, and we’re so grateful for their hard work. As a same-sex couple, we also deeply appreciated how welcomed and supported we felt. The staff treated us with the same care and respect as any other couple, and that meant the world to us. Sleepy Hollow is a truly special place. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines natural beauty, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares, this is it. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. So happy we found this venue for our rehearsal dinner! They did a wonderful job working with us from a distance and providing a beautiful setting and lovely meal for our event. The Great Room was warm and charming and the service was spot on! Working with Maya to plan the event was great as she thought of every detail!
