Located in South Londonderry, Vermont, Stratton Mountain Resort is a beautifully rustic resort that can host wedding events and other occasions. Tucked into the majestic Green Mountains, it offers alpine elegance at its most accessible. Facilities and Capacity
Stratton Mountain Resort offers its guests a wide variety of ceremony and reception locations to choose from. Couples looking to celebrate in the rugged outdoors can opt for a ceremony held atop the Stratton Mountain summit, which features stunning views of the Southern Vermont countryside. For a more traditional outdoor wedding, the Commons Great Lawn is an ideal spot to say, "I do.” The Chapel of Snows is another great ceremony venue. It has a max capacity of 150 people, and it is available throughout the year. For receptions, the Timber Hall, Elevation, and Base Lodge & Ballroom all offer rustic, cabin-like backdrops to celebrate a precious union. The Timber Hall can fit 180 guests, and it offers a DJ and dance floor as well. The Elevation is an elegant and intimate space that can fit 50 people. Lastly, The Base Lodge & Ballroom is available all year round for guests. It has picturesque views of the mountain landscape, and it accommodates wedding parties of up to 250 people. Stratton Mountain Resort also offers premium lodging with a wide variety of floor plans and styles.

Our dream wedding at Stratton
Getting married at Stratton Mountain was the best decision we made during our wedding planning (aside from choosing each other), and we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. From the start of the process, Sarah and the incredible staff worked with us to bring our vision to life, and made the entire day feel like “us”. The whole mountain team made sure guests were aware of important info, and everyone in the village made us feel so loved during our wedding weekend. We got married in late May, and even we got rained out of a summit ceremony, everyone was incredibly adaptable and helpful, and the ceremony in Timber Hall was perfect. I can’t recommend this venue enough, and thanks so much to the whole crew at Stratton for memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!
Stratton was an amazing place to get married! We had our ceremony on top of the mountain at the Hubert Haus deck which had an amazing view of the area. Getting to the top of the mountain in the closed gondolas was a fun way to get to the ceremony too. Our reception was at the Green Apron which did an amazing job with the food and was a perfect size for our small wedding of 25 people. Last but certainly not least our coordinator Emily was amazing! She helped us with everything every step of the way making sure that we had everything lined up that we needed and did a fantastic job coordinating everything the day of so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Thanks Emily!

Perfection!
Stratton Mountain gave us the wedding of our dreams! I would not have changed a thing! From the day we toured the venue to the night we got married everything was amazing! I would recommend this venue to anyone! Ashley Knight was the sweetest most dedicated coordinator we could have ever asked for!

Our Stratton Wedding was Perfect!
Erin is detail oriented, kind, and accommodating. She put in an unbelievable amount of effort to make sure that every single thing went smoothly on our wedding day. When we were first starting to plan I was overwhelmed with the number of detailed decisions, but I’m so glad that Erin had the knowledge and experience to think about them in advance so that when the day came I could just enjoy myself! She coordinated vendors day-of, handled setup and takedown, and made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be on time. Honestly the day went even better than planned. We are biased but think our wedding was the best we’ve ever been to, and are SO glad that we chose Stratton! Erin and the entire team at Stratton clearly do weddings as their profession, and it shows.

Amazing Experience with Val Ryan & Stratton Resort
We decided to get married at Stratton because we've had so many good times snowboarding there over the years. When we first considered it as an option, we were expecting it to be out of our budget but were blown away at how reasonable costs were. What was even more incredible was the level of support Stratton provided. Many other vendors don't provide the services they offered, at least not without incurring significant costs.
They hooked us up with our wedding coordinator, Val Ryan. Her level of support, professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, advice/guidance, patience, flexibility and more were all unlike anything we had ever experience before. She immediately connected with us on a personal level and kept us pumped up throughout the entire planning process leading up to the day of the wedding. Planning a wedding especially during these times is stressful enough, but Val Ryan and Stratton made it exciting and an unforgettable experience. They catered to all our needs from the rehearsal dinner to the reception and it could not have been better. Every staff member we met along the way was fantastic. It's clear that Stratton takes good care of their people which is reflected by their passion and the high quality work. We couldn't have asked for more. Timber Hall was beautiful for the reception and our summit ceremony was absolutely unreal. If you're on the fence, definitely book with them and they will take good care of you.

The perfect venue
We can't say enough good things about Stratton Mountain Resort as our wedding venue choice. It was simply perfect. The wedding coordinator (Valeria Ryan) was amazing at every step of the way. She was immensely helpful, find, and patient. Same goes for the entire staff at Stratton. They truly helped make our wedding day even more special and more importantly, stress free and easy. The views are amazing. Timber Hall where we had our reception was simply perfect, and the food was beyond delicious. Days and weeks after our wedding we had several guests comment on how well organized everything was and how amazing all the food was. Several went as far to say, without exaggeration, that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We cannot thank the staff enough and feel supper grateful and fortunate to have had such a perfect experience.

Outstanding people to work with
In 2019, we booked our dream wedding at Stratton for 2020. Val Ryan and the team at Stratton were INCREDIBLY helpful, reasonable, and patient during the spring of 2020 when we were unsure of how the summer would go. They let us pass our first payment due date in order to see how things played out.
When we decided to postpone to 2021, the process was effortless. Ultimately, when we decided to change plans all together and have a small reception in our state, we received a response better than we could have hoped for. Everyone was understanding and shared their best wishes for us.
Even though we didn't get to have our event at Stratton, every step of the planning process showed me how much of a stand-out organization Stratton is, with reasonable, family oriented people running the show. Stratton set the bar for how to react during a crisis, and while I hope that whoever is reading this in the future does not face the challenges I did, please know that Stratton is a wonderful place to plan your wedding at, and I highly recommend it.
