We truly cannot say enough incredible things about the Equinox Resort and the entire experience they created for our wedding weekend. From start to finish, it was nothing short of spectacular. We hosted multiple events across several days, and every single one flowed seamlessly. The staff was beyond friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Our guests are still raving about the service, the food, and the overall atmosphere. The ambiance of the property is simply magical. Every corner of the resort felt like a postcard and gave us the most stunning photo opportunities we could have dreamed of. A very special and heartfelt thank you to our venue coordinator, Ella (and Diane), who went so far above and beyond for us. Ella sat on countless Zoom calls walking through timelines, layouts, weather plans, and every tiny detail imaginable. She brought such positive, fun energy to the entire process and truly felt like part of our team, it felt like I was planning everything with my best friend. Her shared love of Vermont, skiing, and weddings made planning feel personal and joyful rather than transactional, truly! One of the most meaningful touches was how thoughtfully she helped incorporate our dog, Ace, into the weekend. She made sure he was taken care of so he could be part of it all, and that meant more to us than we can ever put into words. It is those small, intentional details that made the entire weekend feel so special and so “us.” Beyond the resort itself, the town of Manchester completely charmed our guests. From cozy restaurants to scenic views, everyone commented on how much there was to explore and how magical the setting felt. The entire weekend truly went off without a hitch. It was, without question, the best weekend of our lives. Looking back, we are absolutely certain we could not have had our wedding anywhere else. The Equinox was the perfect place to celebrate, and we are forever grateful!

My husband and I discovered Tälta after staying at another bluebird property in Saratoga. After getting engaged we decided to take a few days to look at venues throughout northern VT. I recommended we book a room at Tälta (that "cool hotel we wanted to check out"), not realizing it would up being our venue. When we walked into the lobby we were immediately taken back by the comfortable atmosphere and gorgeous property. Before we could finish our check in process we found ourselves asking if they did weddings. I can't emphasis enough just how much fun we had planning our wedding with the Tälta crew. Olivia, Sarah and Mike were communicative, creative, flexible, supportive and more. We ended up doing a property buy out so that we could have as many of our guests stay on the property as possible, which made the weekend all the more intimate, personal and just plain fun. Olivia and Sarah also helped us set up an additional room block with their sister property, Cady Hill Lodge for guest overflow, and we planned our welcome drinks at their other sister property, Field Guide Lodge. It made coordination of logistics so much easier, giving us the head space to focus on some of the more fun details of the weekend! We’ve had numerous people tell us that our wedding was the most fun and special wedding they’ve been to. Everyone loved being on the property - from the beautiful common spaces, to the amazing outdoor space, it was truly the perfect set up. Have your wedding at Tälta - the space is incredible, and the team you get to work with is even better!

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue experience for our wedding weekend (which consisted of a welcome party in the Mapleview Gardens, tented Front Lawn ceremony and reception, and after party in the Golf Clubhouse). Bonnie and her team were incredibly easy to work with from start to finish, quick to respond to any emails, and truly went above and beyond to bring all of our ideas, visions, and requests to life. Since our guests were traveling, it was nice to have a one-stop-shop for all of the wedding activities once guests arrived, and the Wappanachee Cottage was the perfect home base for the bride/groom and family to stay for the weekend and have plenty of room to separate to get ready. When the weather didn’t (at all!) cooperate, they were flexible and proactive, offering back-up spaces and seamlessly adapting plans to ensure everything still felt magical and stress-free. We were so excited to have our wedding here, and they somehow exceeded our incredibly high hopes & expectations. So grateful to have had our wedding at Lake Morey Resort!

Wedding of my dreams at the Quechee Inn!!!!! It was truly an incredible weekend. We received so many compliments from guest on our wedding - from the scenery and the food/service to the intimacy of the ceremony on the front lawn. I could not have imagined a more perfect weekend. First, the staff were incredible. Britny, Michele and Rick were super responsive and attentive to our needs during the planning process. And not to mention, they are very kind and good people. Working with them was easy. All staff during the reception, Sunday brunch, and entire stay were exceptional. Second, you cannot beat the views at the Quechee Inn. With the hills in the background and kids running around in the field to guests enjoying s’mores by the bonfire during the dancing breaks, it was truly a unique day. Third, it was a super intimate ceremony and wedding. Getting to take over the Quechee Inn with your selection of guests for the weekend makes it a unique experience. Fourth, THE FOOD. Dinner portions are big, so your guests definitely won’t go hungry. The appetizers during cocktail hour were also superb. Brunch was delicious (try the pancakes). And finally, the drinks were amazing. Passing around his and her cocktails made a huge difference for our guests. I am running out of room to write, but you will not regret getting married at the Quechee Inn. Best decision I have ever made in my life!

Our experience at the Essex was 10/10. Our event coordinator was Cindy, who did a phenomenal job guiding us and our wedding planner through the choices to be made and the lay of the land! She was so communicative and was great about answering any and all of my questions (and I had a lot). The banquet and catering team spearheaded by Sydney was fabulous as well; I have celiac disease and it was very important to me that I have a dedicated gluten-free wedding, and Cindy and Sydney made my dreams come true while also navigating our guests varied allergies and dietary restrictions! The food was phenomenal and several of our guests commented on the high quality of the meals. We and our guests also loved that the inn was connected to everything we needed on the property all weekend - we never had to leave the building (which was ideal, given we got married in early March!). The inn is so cozy and cute, and the spa is a wonderful and relaxing bonus. The Green Mountain Inn has a special place in our hearts and you feel that as soon as you get there. It has everything you need all in one place, amazing venue, great location, incredible food, attentive staff, free parking, no transportation needed, and comfortable lodging for all guests. We had the most amazing wedding weekend and we are so glad we chose GMI as our venue! The Inn has such rich character and charm, it is so romantic. It was absolutely perfect and we were in such good hands making sure everything ran smoothly. 10/10 experience, completely recommend!

Where to even start! This was them most perfect place for our wedding. The staff was amazing. We connected instantly when we met them over a zoom call. It was stress free as we were 5 hours away trying to plan a wedding. Maureen and Alex were so helpful and always so quick to get back to us with any questions we had. Once we got to the resort, every staff member there made us feel so special. Whether it was the staff at the front desk saying hello and asking us if we needed anything, to the staff in the restaurant saying hi every time we saw them, or even the housekeeping complimenting the wedding, it was just absolutely perfect. We had rave reviews from our guests as well about the Golden Arrow. I wish we could do this all over just to work with them again. We have been missing it since the day we left. We couldn't be more happy with everything there.

There’s truly no way to describe our experience other than an absolute dream. We feel unbelievably lucky to have found this hidden gem of a venue. Part of me wants to keep it a secret forever, but it’s far too special not to share! In late August 2025, we hosted our fairytale wedding weekend here with Lisa and her incredible team. The Castle itself is full of beautifully maintained natural charm, with stunning views and endless photo opportunities around every corner. We were searching for a place that captured the warmth and romance of a villa for our Italian heritage-filled celebration, and Lisa (along with Kelly) brought that vision to life so effortlessly. By the end of the weekend, Lisa truly felt like part of our family. The entire team is warm, supportive, and incredibly on top of everything. They really do CARE. And we were not an easy group. We had kids, dogs (which I do not recommend!), unique traditions, food allergies, and very high expectations when it came to the food. Not only did they handle every detail with ease, but the food far exceeded those expectations. Our guest list was full of self-proclaimed Tri-State food critics, and the filet was an absolute standout! Every dish was thoughtful, delicious, and perfectly executed, and every dietary need was accommodated seamlessly without ever compromising quality or flavor. Thank you, Chef Harris!! The tent was an incredible perk and gave us a beautiful blank slate to bring our vision to life. That said, for a smaller wedding, it can feel a bit large, and the dance floor is on the smaller side so that's something to keep in mind depending on your guest count and priorities. Like any venue, there are guidelines in place to protect the space and ensure everything runs smoothly. They are especially firm on the dinner timeline, which ultimately keeps the entire weekend flowing seamlessly, but it’s helpful to be aware of that upfront when planning. The entire weekend felt warm, seamless, and completely one-of-a-kind. We couldn’t have imagined a better experience.

Sleepy Hollow was the perfect setting for our wedding in August 2024. The venue is stunning, with gorgeous natural surroundings and a layout that feels both professionally designed and wonderfully wild. The landscaping blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a magical, nature-filled atmosphere that made our day feel intimate and unique. The on-site inn was a huge plus, allowing us to host many friends and family comfortably. Everyone had plenty of space, and it felt like a home away from home, adding to the warmth of the celebration. The staff were exceptional—friendly, communicative, and incredibly helpful. They truly went above and beyond, especially when an intense storm hit the night before our wedding. Power went out, trees were downed, and we were worried it might derail everything. But the team remained calm and focused, working tirelessly to address the issues and ensure our day was perfect. Thanks to their dedication, the wedding was spectacular, and we’re so grateful for their hard work. As a same-sex couple, we also deeply appreciated how welcomed and supported we felt. The staff treated us with the same care and respect as any other couple, and that meant the world to us. Sleepy Hollow is a truly special place. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines natural beauty, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares, this is it. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. I could not have envisioned my wedding more perfectly done than at the Whiteface Lodge! 1. the venue is absolutely gorgeous, 2. the service from Kelly the wedding Director to each bartender, valet staff, and receptionist was impeccable and so friendly, 3. Planning the event details was made very easy by Kelly's expertise and the venue amenities. Also the chef at the Whiteface Lodge is amazing and the food delicious! I've attended a lot of weddings with good caterers but this was a whole other level. My family and friends have continuously raved about this wedding which has made it even more special to my husband and I. To help other brides and grooms out there, the reason we chose Whiteface Lodge is that I had wanted to get married at Lake Placid since I was a little (personal connection to the town) and we toured several venues in the area. WL stood out because it was an all in one experience with great choices for ceremony location, reception and dancing. They also only do one wedding a weekend which gives you a very personalized experience. Kelly is your wedding coordinator for the entirety of the planning process and has a great list of preferred vendors who all have experience with WL. We did not feel the need to look for any vendors outside of the list. When you step foot on the property you feel so relaxed and the staff genuinely acted so excited for us. Your guests get access to all the amenities the Lodge has to offer (spa, game room, outdoor recreation facilities). The Lodge is elegant and embodies the Adirondack style in a beautiful and authentic way. A few things to keep in mind: as part of the venue costs, you have to book all the rooms in the Lodge's second building where the reception/ballroom is located. This was not a problem for us as we had both immediate families and the entire wedding party housed there - which made it easy to get ready day off and keep everyone organized. The suites are massive and our friends were so excited to stay there. There is limited transportation options in Lake Placid but book Bob from Polar Express Transportation in advance, our guests raved about him. There is so much more I could say (all good things) but I hope this review is helpful to future couples considering WL - We HIGHLY recommend it!
