Barrows House is a wedding venue located in Dorset, Vermont, that serve the Burlington and Albany regions. They would be honored to host your wedding events at their rustic yet modern historic venue with gorgeous scenic views and indoor and outdoor settings.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples may entertain up to 250 guests for their tented wedding events at Barrows House. This six acre getaway comes with many accommodations to treat your out-of-town guests. Couples may enjoy their wedding events outdoors or inside with their friends and family at this tranquil, private estate. Spacious outdoor grassy and patio areas are fantastic for gatherings, as are indoor areas. The indoor capacity is 100 guests for a sit down dinner.

Additionally, three miles up the road is The Old Gray Barn in Rupert, VT. It is a beautiful venue with a capacity of 200 guests that is surrounded by mountains. Transportation is provided from all of our properties.

Staff will set up and clean up event items couples may rent from Barrow House, which include audio equipment, chair covers, chairs, a dance floor, decor, furniture, lighting, tables, tent accessories, and tents. They have a liquor license and offer couples bar services, which include bartenders, a cash, open, or limited bar, house beer, liquor, and wine, premium liquor, a signature drink, and specialty beer and wine. Barrows House will provide catering services for your events. They offer buffet, plated, stations, family style, French service, and hors d’oeuvres serving styles, as well as dessert and cocktail reception services. Couples may bring in their own outside cake as well as attend tastings to preview and select menu items. They honor dietary restrictions for those who are vegan, organic, vegetarian, and gluten-, lactose-, nut-, and pork-free. Their delicious American dishes include herb roasted breast of chicken, pan seared diver scallops, roasted duck breast, and much more.
