As advertised, Marieanne has a special talent in applying a 'natural' makeup look. When I booked my bridal trial with her a few weeks out from my wedding day, I remember leaving her studio feeling beautiful and empowered. She talked through every application of product, sharing techniques along the way and pausing for feedback on color palettes / product selection. Even taking the time to teach me some tips for perfecting the delicate cat eye I had been struggling to do on myself for years!
Marieanne was warm, welcoming and met my sass with just enough back, I thought I might ruin her hard work with my laughter tears by the end of the trial session!

The awareness / knowledge of her field and attention to detail she has is also unmatched. Questions like, "what products do you use" or "how would you describe your makeup preferences" are typical and expected. What was not expected was the thoughtfulness that went into understanding skin history, wedding party relationships and stimulus preferences (loud / quiet room) to ensure each client felt comfortable, safe and beautiful. Not only did this give my wedding party and I a far more personal one-on-one cosmetic experience, but it aided in everyone feeling their absolute best, (physically, mentally and emotionally) to carry out the perfect wedding day!

PHOTO NOTES: All in all , the final makeup looks were flawless (as advertised). Much of the bridal party, including myself, went with airbrush foundation and it did not cake, run or come off, despite hours on a sweaty dance floor and being hoisted into the air!
