When my fiance and I began looking for our wedding venue, we were overwhelmed with where to start. We booked several venue tours in Vermont and New England, however, The Grafton Inn was the first and last one we went to. After touring the grounds with Olivia, we knew this was the place. The Grafton Inn is such a quintessential Vermont location. It's picturesque, charming, and has such a special feeling about it that puts you at ease.

We also wanted a place where everyone stays and no one has to shuttle to and from events. Once you're there, everything is within walking distance in the charming town of Grafton.

Coordinating and bringing our vision to life was easy with the help of Olivia, Roma, and Angela. They were quick and responsive to all of our questions throughout the process, not to mention extremely kind and welcoming to us and all of our guests. Our family and friends won't stop raving about the entire experience at our wedding, from the Inn and beautiful Vermont location, to the delicious food, and wonderful staff. We couldn’t have been happier with the choice of venue for our daughter’s special day. We found Grafton Inn by chance and knew immediately that this had to be the location for her wedding. Thanks to the friendliest dream team of Olivia, Angela, Roma and the entire staff of the Inn we had the most amazing experience and they made our daughter and son-in-law’s dream come true. They put us at ease from the very beginning due to their being extremely organized, dependable and fun!! Everyone at the Inn made us feel welcomed and special.

During the planning process, whenever we asked can we do this or that, the answer was always a resounding yes, followed up with what can we do for you to make your wedding experience the best. This team met and exceeded all of our needs and expectations. The time and effort they put into the entire weekend was truly remarkable. They worked tirelessly with us to bring our vision to life and were so attentive to and anticipated our every need. They went out of their way to ensure our wedding day and stay was perfect.

This quintessential Vermont village is so inviting, it’s like stepping back in time. We had the full property package due to the size of our wedding and had the entire town to all to ourselves. We tried to explain to our family and friends what the experience in this small out of the way town was all about. Once everyone started arriving to town, they soon understood what we were talking about. You arrive, park your car for the weekend, settle in, unplug and enjoy what this beautiful village has to offer. The rooms at the Inn, Annex and houses of the Inn are all unique in their own right. Nothing is cookie cutter about this property and all of the accommodations are so nicely appointed. The amenities were many. Our guests hiked, biked, roamed trails, shopped for local gifts and cheeses and gathered at the Grafton Marketplace. We were blessed with 80 degree weather during our September wedding weekend, so many of our guests took advantage of some early fall dips in the swimming pond.

We must give the food an A+ too! From the delicious rehearsal dinner catered at our house, to the welcome party at the Phelps barn with an abundance of scrumptious hearty appetizers, to full delicious breakfasts served daily in the garden room at the Inn and the outstanding wedding meal served to 200 guests under our tent down by the river, was spot on. Everyone raved about the food!

It been almost 4 weeks since Kevin and Erin tied the knot and everyone is still saying that ours was one of the best wedding weekends they have ever attended. We have to agree! Honestly, there’s no place like Grafton. It’s feels like home. You feel and are treated like family! We cannot wait to go back!

We could not speak more highly of The Grafton Inn, the team, and frankly the entire town! We had the best experience creating our dream wedding weekend with events Thursday through Saturday. The Grafton Inn team supported every idea we had and executed to perfection. Almost every one of our guests went out of their way to tell us they were having the best experience with the Grafton team and staff, and that this was the best wedding they have ever been to! We could not recommend this venue with any more enthusiasm; we already spoke about planning an anniversary event there in the future!
