We cannot say enough wonderful things about Olivia, Roma, Angela and the entire team at the Grafton Inn. From the very beginning of the planning process to the final moments of our wedding weekend, everything was handled with such professionalism, warmth, and care.
As a pretty type A human (with equally type A friends and family!), I know I can be a lot to manage—but Olivia, Roma and Angela never once made us feel like we were too much. They were calm, kind, and incredibly organized. What really stood out was the team’s ability to strike the perfect balance: they gave us full creative control where it mattered most to us, while gently and expertly guiding us in areas that needed a professional hand. That balance created so much trust and allowed us to actually enjoy the process.
The weekend itself was seamless—every detail was executed beautifully. Our guests were blown away by the setting, the service, and how smoothly everything ran. We've received so many compliments, and we owe so much of that to the Grafton team. Being from Vermont, originally, this is a huge compliment.
Thank you for making our wedding not just stress-free, but joyful. Our dearest family and friends were able to take over a picturesque town and experience the wedding weekend of our dreams. We’re so grateful for the care you put into every step, and we can’t wait to come back to Grafton to celebrate future milestones! We truly have goosebumps writing this, we think about our wedding weekend everyday and hope other couples will see this and be fortunate enough to feel the same.

We knew we wanted an elopement sized wedding. It's a second marriage for both of us. Our love for New England historic inns, privacy, small towns, intimate settings, good food, fireplaces, and outdoor opportunities, led us to a small list which included the Grafton Inn. This was the only historic inn who clearly understood the elopement assignment (they have a separate web page for elopements!) and the need to be flexible. The staff is very professional, personable, connected, and have extensive experience with elopements and events of all sizes. The staff spent the perfect amount of time getting to know us, and then made all the plans and connections to ensure the event went perfectly. We didn't do a ton of interviews to hire a photographer, flowers, or our officiant because the Inn's recommendations were all spot on. We added two rooms to our elopement for our children. They stayed in the same part of the hotel but far enough away for us to all have privacy. Our wedding was a noon wedding, so we had breakfast, changed, and then took photos before the ceremony. After the toast, we changed into something more comfortable, had a sandwich at the local market and took a walk. The children left and my new husband and I spent two more glorious days at the inn. It was a reverse send off making the time from bye to unwind, near zero.
Sometimes one gives a special thanks to one or two members of the team, but in this case, I can wholeheartedly endorse ALL of the staff, vendors, and town staff who helped make our elopement perfect. We loved it so much, we made reservations to spend our one year anniversary here. -

I honestly can't speak highly enough of this venue and all the staff that works there. Me and my husband decided to get married there in the Fall, October 4th 2025, because we wanted a beautiful little serene getaway that felt both peaceful and magical and the Grafton Inn is exactly that. I seriously can't express my gratitude enough for how amazing everything went that day, between the staff, the attention to detail, the thoughtful little details, and everything in between, it was seriously beyond perfect. My friends and family cannot stop talking about how amazing and beautiful that entire day was! Literally multiple people came up to me both during and after the wedding saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Every detail was thought of and executed by the amazing wedding team AKA Olvia and Roma, who took care of every detail and made sure I was extremely comfortable, cared after and happy! Another thing everyone kept noting is that it was the best wedding food anyone has ever tasted! I really can't praise this place enough, it was the best day of our lives and hands-down the best venue I could've ever possibly dreamed of. :) -

Such a great wedding experience!
We had such a beautiful and magical wedding day and I don't think I have the words to express how much of a wonderful experience we had at the Grafton Inn. As soon as we visited the venue, we felt like it was meant to be. All of the spaces are beautiful, and we were lucky to be able to rent two of the houses so that we could get ready with our friends on the morning of the wedding. From the whole planning process to the actual day, we felt so supported and it honestly felt like we were planning this wedding with friends. Olivia and Roma were on top of everything, always offering the best advice and taking our needs to heart. They worked tirelessly to make sure we had the best day ever, and were helpful and kind. There is so much talent at the Grafton for events, as well as passion and joy for wedding planning. The whole team showcases an immense amount of enthusiasm for making sure that your big day is a special and joyful celebration. All of our guests came to us throughout the wedding and even months later and were blown away by the wedding experience. I wish we could relive our big day over and over again, but we were lucky to at least experience it once. The best decision we made was to get married at the Grafton Inn! -

Getting married at the Grafton Inn was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made!! As soon as we saw the Inn and met the incredible staff, we knew we had found something very special. We wanted our guests to experience the joy of Vermont in the summer without having to travel for various events throughout the weekend, and that’s exactly what the Grafton Inn made possible. Our families and friends completely took over the town for the weekend, and the Inn staff and local businesses catered so well to everyone’s needs and made us all feel right at home!
The staff at the Grafton Inn are simply unmatched. Olivia and Roma had every single detail under control from start to finish, and their organizational skills along with their calm, strategic approach to everything tremendously reduced our stress and made the planning process so much more manageable than we thought it would be. Every single staff member that we interacted with was so friendly and knowledgeable, and we know that our weekend would not have been nearly as great without their help.
There is absolutely nothing we would change about our decision to get married at the Grafton Inn. The setting is beautiful, the food is spectacular, the staff is outstanding and their service is top notch. The general vibe at and around the Inn is so warm and welcoming, it makes you want to return as soon as you drive away – we’ve already booked our next stay and can’t wait to be back!

Our wedding was so wonderful and beyond our expectations! The Grafton Inn was the only place we considered for our wedding; we knew right away how special it was. Our goal was to have a stress-free event and their team delivered. Everything ran so smoothly and we really appreciated all of Olivia and Roma's ideas during the planning process. The vendors they suggested were so fabulous, the food was delicious, and the venue was dreamy (even without decorations). We can't recommend the Grafton Inn strongly enough. We feel so lucky that we decided to go with the Grafton Inn for our late October wedding. What an absolute gem!
From the picturesque village to the delicious food at the Inn, this venue is absolutely perfect. The baker they partner with, Wendy, made one of the best cakes we've ever had! We had hoped for a cozy weekend where our many out of state guests could come get a Vermont experience, and that's exactly what we got. It was such a dreamy weekend.
We are so grateful to Roma and Olivia for all the hard work they put into our wedding and their attention to detail. They never tired of our many questions and were receptive and flexible to our ideas. It was also clear that the entire Grafton Inn staff work incredibly hard to create such a wonderful experience for guests (weddings guests or not). -

Simply the best!!
The Grafton Inn was a fantastic wedding venue and an absolutely wonderful team to work with! Olivia, Roma, and Angela are simply the best: incredibly responsible, detail-oriented, warm, and kept us calm and organized in the chaos! They had answers to all of our questions, made everything run so smoothly from the planning process to the big day, and offered suggestions and solutions that were always helpful. We couldn't have done it without them + ALL of the staff at the Grafton Inn is top notch.
The Inn itself is cozy and picturesque, and is a place that you'll want to come back to over and over again. All of our guests couldn't get over how cute the town was and have been raving about the Inn ever since. For us, we loved the flexibility that the Grafton Inn provides: multiple indoor/outdoor options for various events that could be big or small + the fact that almost all of our guests were able to stay at the Inn with us. It really felt like a vacation with 100+ of our closest family and friends. And friends still talk about the breakfast buffet!
The Grafton Inn makes everything super easy -- they are pros who have thought of everything and can take care of almost everything! Truly the best decision we made was having our wedding at the Grafton Inn! -

Our wedding weekend at The Grafton Inn was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen somewhere truly special. The entire village feels like a storybook in the fall—crisp air, vibrant foliage, and the most charming, historic buildings surrounding you. It created a backdrop so naturally beautiful that our guests are still talking about it.
What truly set The Grafton Inn apart, though, was the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. The vendors and our band were phenomenal, and the coordination between everyone felt seamless.
A huge part of that was thanks to Olivia and Roma, the planners who guided us throughout the entire year. Their calm professionalism, quick communication, and thoughtful support made the planning process not only manageable, but actually enjoyable. On the weekend itself, they were everywhere—helping with details before we even realized we needed something. We couldn’t imagine a better team.

My husband (!!) and I had the best weekend of our lives at the Grafton Inn. I can't recommend this venue enough - the team is so talented, responsive, kind, and genuine. They made us feel so confident and calm throughout the entire planning process and most importantly, on our wedding day. The food was delicious, the setting was gorgeous, and the on-site accommodations were helpful for our older guests and made us feel like we could celebrate all weekend with our nearest and dearest. Even our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Every staff member was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made us feel right at home but Olivia, Roma and Angela are really the best in the business. Don't think twice about visiting the Grafton Inn - you will not be disappointed! -

From the moment we toured the Grafton Inn to the moments of our wedding weekend itself, Olivia, Roma, and Angela were the most warm, helpful, knowledgeable, team. We knew this venue was the one as soon as we toured because of how beautiful the grounds and the Inn are and how picturesque and special the village of Grafton is. As we planned our wedding over the next 11 months (and even had to change our date due to an unforeseen circumstance!), we were reassured we made the right decision at every step of the way. Olivia and Roma were able to answer my hundreds of questions, provide insight and recommendations, and consider every detail to ensure our weekend was well prepared for. On the actual weekend itself, we were guided every step of the way, too. The weekend was nothing short of a dream, the most fun and special weekend we could have imagined. Our friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it all was- the setting, the food, the vendors, the staff, and the execution. We had the most positive experience working with the Grafton Inn and wish we could do it all over again. We will be lifelong visitors for sure! -

We had an amazing 70 person wedding at The Grafton Inn! All guests were able to stay on site, which was an important detail to us. We started the weekend Friday with a pizza dinner in the garden under twinkle lights with live acoustic guitar from Don Dawson. During the day Saturday guests were able to walk around town, play tennis, and interact as if we were in our own little village.
Our ceremony and reception Saturday were perfect! We loved how everything is walkable and there were many good locations for pictures with different backdrops. The food is outstanding (from dinners to the buffet breakfast each morning) and our guests commented on this. We had our reception in the Phelps Barn and had plenty of room even with a 7 piece band. The dance floor was a great size and luckily was full all night. Fast Pony Flowers did an excellent job making the barn warm and cozy with many candelabras and also beautiful with fresh flowers and floral chandeliers.
Overall we are so happy with our choice to have our wedding at The Grafton Inn! We believe it is a great value for all that you get (and you get so much!) We feel it was a unique, memorable experience for us and our guests. We wouldn't change a single thing!
Coordinators Roma, Angela, and Olivia made every detail of our weekend so seamless! Even before the weekend they were very helpful and responsive to all our emails. It was great to work with people that have run so many weddings because we get to benefit from all of their experience. They were kind and supportive all weekend to us and our family members, which was very much appreciated. -

Getting married at The Grafton Inn was the best choice we could have made while in the nascent stages of planning, as they take all of the guesswork out of the process and streamline the whole shebang for you! The venue choices are plentiful, you book the entire Inn...and then you add houses and additional points throughout the town to allow for a sprawling and cohesive event. It's amazing! The locals know what they're about, as weekends for half the year are known to be dedicated to weddings, so AirBnB rentals and barn/event spaces are plentiful - and usually booked up! You couldn't ask for a more picturesque scene from a Rockwell painting, Grafton's closest competition IMO.
The planners, Olivia and Roma, are a well-oiled machine that are excellent at reducing the stress and anxiety that come with attempting to plan a wedding, and they were very delicate and patient with us as we constantly got in our own way with stream-of-consciousness, grandiose, complexities and consistently missed deadlines. They knew how to gently steer us back on track, recommend known winning ideas, and keep us calm from the leadup straight-through the final day. Truly, we would have been lost without their guidance and support, and we CANNOT thank them enough!
The entire staff - front desk (looking at you, Jenn!), waitstaff, cooks, housekeeping, bartenders, porters, etc, etc - really showed the professionalism, experience and care that you would want for such a special event. The grounds were gorgeous, the food absolutely AMAZING, and each room was unique and charming. Everyone was friendly and a joy to work with!

Our Winter Wonderland Wedding: Unforgettable Charm and Hospitality
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our destination wedding! The Grafton Inn in Vermont was absolutely breathtaking, especially in January, and made for a winter wonderland that felt like something straight out of a Hallmark movie.
From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. The inn is cozy, charming, and the ideal spot for a weekend-long celebration. We loved that all of our guests could stay at the inn, making the entire weekend feel like a blended family retreat. It allowed everyone to truly be a part of the experience and created an intimate atmosphere that wouldn’t have been possible at any other venue.
The staff at The Grafton Inn were nothing short of amazing. Every single person we interacted with was welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day and the entire weekend seamless. We were truly treated like family.
One of the highlights of the weekend was the variety of outdoor winter activities the inn offered. For many of our guests, this was their first experience in the north east winter, and they had an absolute blast with activities like snowshoeing, tubing and cross-country skiing. It was the perfect way to celebrate while creating lasting memories with our loved ones. The town of Grafton was also a huge part of the magic. It’s small, quaint, and absolutely picturesque. We felt like we had taken over the town for the weekend, and it was so special to run into our guests everywhere we went.
Overall, our wedding at The Grafton Inn was everything we had hoped for and more. We left with hearts full of love and gratitude, knowing we had created memories that would last a lifetime. If you're considering a winter wedding or a destination wedding where your guests can stay all weekend, we wholeheartedly recommend The Grafton Inn. It was the perfect setting for a truly unforgettable celebration!! We can not wait to come back to visit. The Grafton Inn is an incredible venue. My wife and I got married there about two weeks ago and we are still getting compliments on how amazing and unique it was and how all of our friends want to do the exact same thing. The venue has multiple gorgeous sites for rehearsal dinners, reception and ceremony depending on the vibe you want and the staff at the Inn couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Leading up to the wedding, Olivia, Roma and the other wedding coordinators do an amazing job of helping you come up with a blueprint for your weekend. They were incredibly helpful and responsive to us in figuring out all of the details that go into a weekend like this and take a very structured approach to help you nail down all the details on the right timeline for everything to happen as smoothly as possible. The Inn will have you for an overnight to do a wedding tasting of all of their delicious food (Seriously, the chef here is amazing). Last but not least is the day of coordination - we had Olivia and Roma helping us out on our wedding weekend and my wife and I seriously didn't have to think about a single logistic all weekend. Olivia and Roma handled everything exceptionally well, without us having to lift a finger, even when we had to make some last minute decisions because of weather. We showed up with a number of random decorations and guest books and point-and-shoot cameras and other stuff and Olivia and Roma took it all from us and just made it all happen. I couldn't recommend them more and we would do it exactly the same all over again if it came down to it. -

Our wedding at The Grafton Inn was nothing short of magical. The barn was absolutely stunning—rustic, charming, and the perfect blend of elegance and comfort. It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere that our guests are still talking about!
A huge shoutout to Roma, our incredible coordinator, who truly went above and beyond for us. From the first planning meeting to the final send-off, she was organized, calm, and so kind. She made the entire experience stress-free and made sure every detail was taken care of. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without her!

My husband Andrew and I had an absolutely fantastic experience with the Grafton Inn for our early May wedding, and a truly joyous experience. From our very visit, through to our tasting, and the constant helpful communication from Olivia, Roma and Angela – the team at the Grafton Inn were incredible. They communicated promptly, answered all my questions, were always very helpful, and came prepared with suggestions. I felt like the really listened to Andrew and I and put real effort into bringing our vision for our wedding to life. The Grafton Inn has so many beautiful spaces, all of our guests were able to stay at the Inn, and it was so wonderful to have the whole weekend full of events in one spot. Their team is highly professional, they are so organized, they had timelines and logistics all locked down. It rained and thunder-stormed the day of our wedding, and everyone pivoted so quickly to setting up the beautiful indoor space we had designated as our backup. No panic, no chaos, just calm execution of the change in plans.
The food is INCREDIBLE – I really don’t think I could say enough about how delicious the food is. Dinner was just delightful, and the breakfast is soooo good too. We had multiple guests comment that it was the best wedding meal they’d ever had. Andrew and I were able to pick a menu that we really loved after our tasting, and a menu that easily accommodated all of our guests. We came up with fun custom cocktails ourselves and got a response of “no problem – sounds great!”. There were a variety of dietary restrictions and everyone was accommodated smoothly. The whole experience of working with the Grafton Inn really felt so personal and so compassionate. They made planning so much less stressful that I had thought it would be, and every single one of their recommended vendors knocked it out of the park. That was such a bonus added value that I hadn't been counting on, and it really helped us plan a wonderful event.
I’d recommend this venue very highly, and I know Andrew and I will be coming back for weekend trips in the winter or summer to ski or mountain bike and reminisce about our magical weekend. -

We cannot recommend The Grafton Inn highly enough. From the time we first reached out, Olivia was extremely responsive and that never wavered. She was always available to answer our smallest questions and guide us throughout the process. Along with Roma and Jenn, the staff made the whole weekend go smoothly. They are true professionals, and they are also kind. Some of the other venues we visited felt like a “wedding factory,” churning out multiple events in one weekend. Not so at Grafton. We had the benefit of an experienced staff, without any of the churn. We had the whole place to ourselves for the entire weekend. In short, they know what they are doing, and you will be in very good hands.
The Inn’s grounds are something special. The buildings are beautiful and historic. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. There are inviting fireplaces and reading nooks for people to catch up throughout the weekend. The Inn was able to accommodate many of our guests, which was a big plus since people were traveling from far. Once they arrived, all of our events were within walking distance, and it was so fun to see the little town of Grafton come alive with all the people we love most in the world. This part of Vermont is truly magical -- it was lush and verdant for our early spring wedding. It was the perfect setting for this special moment. -

The perfect New England wedding venue!
The Grafton Inn was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding in May 2025. We were looking for something that would have an elopement package with flexibility to include our immediate family and we found it at The Grafton Inn. Roma, Olivia and the entire team/staff went above and beyond from start to finish! Everyone is so kind and friendly.
There are several location options for your ceremony both inside and outside and plenty of areas for stunning photos. We chose to get married outside in the garden with gorgeous crab apple trees that bloomed perfectly for our wedding. The property is stunning and well maintained! The entire town is out of a New England Magazine.
The food was delicious and service is outstanding. Our presidential suite room in the Inn was perfect for getting ready and bringing in vendors for hair and makeup. Our elopement package was the best value we found and we were so impressed with everything.
Overall, we would highly recommend The Grafton Inn for any wedding! We look forward to coming back again and again to stay and dine. We love it here! -

When Chris and I began planning, we knew we wanted New England charm with an intimate setting where everyone could stay on the property. The Grafton Inn was the first and only venue we visited, it checked everything off our list we were looking for. As you drive in and walk around the town, you can't help but feel like you are in a Hallmark movie. Everything was charming and quintessential Vermont - from the grounds, shops, and the different types of rooms and houses offered. What makes this place even more special are the people and staff. Coordinating with Olivia and the team was incredible - they take care of everything and there was ZERO stress the weekend of the wedding. And THE FOOD, I can't tell you enough how talented the chef and the team are - the variety of selections really allowed us to create a personalized menu that showed our guests more of who we are and what we love. Our family and friends keep telling us how much fun they had during our wedding weekend and getting to experience stick season in Vermont. We envisioned what our dream wedding was and The Grafton Inn team was able to make it a reality, we can't thank them enough! -

12/14/24 The Coraine’s
From the first time we visited snow covered Grafton, Vermont, we knew it was the place. We were met with the utmost professionalism and service during the planning process and throughout the enitre wedding weekend. The communication and hours of detail Olivia, Roma and the ENTIRE Inn team put in was truly remarkable. There was not one miss-step and everything went seamlessly thanks to the Grafton Inn team. Our families were overcome with joy and many of them are planning trips in the future.
We can’t forget the food - wow were we blown away. Every meal we had was beyond fabulous. Thank you to the Chef’s and waitstaff.
We couldn’t recommend the Grafton Inn Vermont as wedding venue more due to the people and accomodations provided, it’s Top Notch. -

The Grafton Inn and staff helped make our fall wedding dream a reality. They were very accommodating to our needs and provided instant feedback to any questions or concerns. They took care of all the decoration set up and tear down and shared our vision for the whole weekend. They provided extra amenities free of charge and were even able to make our welcome party talent show a success. The staff was very responsive to any dietary restrictions. We couldn’t ask for a better venue/team/staff members to make the weekend perfect! -

Fantastic team!
Working with the wedding coordination team at Grafton Inn was awesome. They were responsive to my emails and had answers to all of my questions. They never responded in a way that made me feel like a burden, and throughout the experience I felt valued by them. They catered to our requests as much as possible and made the event feel like it was our own unique experience. The day of the event, the team was on the spot with all the details and everything went off without a hitch. It was so under control that I was able to relinquish control over the details in my own mind, which allowed me to be present for the full event. I highly recommend working with Grafton Inn. Not only is the venue and surrounding area beautiful, but the team is friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. -

Working with Roma, Olivia and Angela was seamless! From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding weekend was exactly how we envisioned it to be. What impressed us the most was how thoughtful and helpful they were -- we had an intimate, private ceremony in the Grafton woods followed by a beautiful wedding reception at the inn -- and they were very helpful with advice for timing, coordination of our welcome entrance, and making sure the décor was exactly how we wanted it to be. Also, as an LGBTQ couple, the Grafton Inn (and Grafton!) was incredibly open and welcoming. The trio of Roma, Olivia and Angela were always open, kind and inclusive. When my fiance and I began looking for our wedding venue, we were overwhelmed with where to start. We booked several venue tours in Vermont and New England, however, The Grafton Inn was the first and last one we went to. After touring the grounds with Olivia, we knew this was the place. The Grafton Inn is such a quintessential Vermont location. It's picturesque, charming, and has such a special feeling about it that puts you at ease.
We also wanted a place where everyone stays and no one has to shuttle to and from events. Once you're there, everything is within walking distance in the charming town of Grafton.
Coordinating and bringing our vision to life was easy with the help of Olivia, Roma, and Angela. They were quick and responsive to all of our questions throughout the process, not to mention extremely kind and welcoming to us and all of our guests. My wife and I got married at the Grafton Inn this past August. We chose the venue due to having family in Grafton and because we fell in love with the rustic charm of the town and Inn. I come from a big family, so the planning process was no small task. The Grafton Inn team; Olivia, Angela, and Roma, were an absolute pleasure to work with, exemplifying professionalism, responsiveness, kindness, and enthusiasm at every step. They helped make the wedding planning go as smoothly as possible, providing a list of excellent vendors, checking in with us regularly, and helping resolve any issues as they arose. The weekend of our wedding saw some inclement weather, but Angela and Roma reassured us and walked everyone in the wedding party through the plan if rain came. We also had a last-minute addition of two guests, which they were very kind to accommodate. On the day of our wedding, we were blessed with beautiful weather. From start to finish, the entire day went as smoothly as we could have hoped for, with the entire Gratfon Inn team running a seamless operation. Everything from the ceremony to the food, music, and atmosphere was sublime. The Grafton Inn team not only helped us have an incredible day, they seemed to genuinely enjoy it themselves. Feedback from our friends and family has been overwhelmingly positive, with many saying ours was the best wedding they had ever attended. The Wedding of my Dreams
The minute I stepped foot in Grafton I knew it was where I needed to have my wedding. The town itself is quintessential New England and the inn is gorgeous in every way. From our first meeting to the weekend of my wedding, Olivia, Angela & Roma went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. They continuously answered my endless emails, helped on site to unload all of our cars, helped to accommodate our flowers, were exceptional to our guests, and helped to make all the details of the wedding weekend come to life. Having our wedding at the Grafton Inn was like having a town all to ourselves. It was beyond special to host yoga on the property and watch as my family and friends biked around town to swim in the swimming hole or walk to local trails. It truly was so magical. Our wedding weekend will forever be one of my favorite memories and I continuously get told it was the “best wedding they’ve ever been to” from countless people.

Best weekend of our lives!
The Grafton Inn made planning for our special day so easy! They communicated with us consistently throughout the year to make sure every detail was covered. They truly made us feel so special throughout the planning process, and like we were the only ones there every time we visited. On the weekend of the actual wedding, there was always someone there to make sure things were running smoothly. Everything flowed beautifully, and we got amazing reviews from our guests. As someone who is not very detail oriented, I loved working with Olivia, Angela and Roma who made sure nothing was forgotten throughout the entire process. If we could do this 100 times over we would, it was the best experience! If you’re looking for a little getaway for your wedding, the Grafton Inn is the place to go. The Grafton Inn is a magical place in a stunning Vermont setting, but it is the people working there who made us feel like our wedding was the only one they hosted that year. Olivia worked with us on all the details leading up to our wedding. She has a warm communication style and an amazing attention to detail . We found out a week before our wedding that Olivia had to tend to personal matters and would not be our point person at our wedding . Angela seamlessly stepped into this role and ensured that our wedding day was about as perfect as a day could be . She lead the rehearsal for the ceremony the night before and even packed my bags of confetti. Angela was always there when we needed her. We can't wait to return to the Grafton Inn!

The perfect wedding weekend under cherry blossom trees.
I would 100% recommend the Grafton to anyone who wants to get married in Vermont. I live in upstate New York, and this was the perfect short weekend getaway wedding destination. The staff was amazing. The people at the front desk helped my grandparents in with their luggage. They were the first to arrive and even though they don’t have a valet service, it was always service with a smile. The town itself is so charming, when you’re just walking around the people who live in the town are so nice to you so you don’t feel like a stranger. The wedding coordinators, were beyond amazing and continued to impress us all the way until the end of our stay. We were lucky enough to pick the perfect weekend. We had the beautiful cherry blossoms trees in full bloom and held our wedding in the community garden. It felt like it was straight out of a fairytale. If an intimate wedding is the feel that you’re going for, The Grafton Inn is the perfect place to do it. From rehearsal, to ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and getting your groove on in the Phelps barn. They really do it all. I had a lot of special requests, and some of my wedding details were very untraditional yet I was still assisted every step of the way. The Grafton Inn helped make my wedding the best day of my life. The number one comment I get from guests who attended my wedding was that it was the best wedding they had ever attended besides their own. I hold that comment very dear to my heart and would not have been able to do everything I did without the help of The Grafton Inn!

Our experience with the Grafton Inn was truly remarkable. From the moment we reached out to Olivia that we wanted to move forward with having our wedding at this venue, everything ran smoothly. Both wedding coordinators, Olivia and Roma, were incredibly responsive, often getting back to our emails within the day. The Inn was even more beautiful on the day of our wedding than when we had toured the site, and we were thrilled with all of the accommodations for ourselves and our guests. What really made the wedding day special was the staff at the Inn, everyone treated us cordially and went above and beyond to make sure us and our guests enjoyed the weekend. For us, it was important to have a wedding location where we were close to all of our family and friends, so that we could enjoy their company in the days leading up to, and following, the ceremony. We could not have been happier with our wedding at the Grafton Inn! As we are not big into event planning and live in Texas, we were looking for an all-inclusive venue that handled catering, lodging, and coordination and the Grafton Inn was the perfect fit. We opted for one of the winter micro-wedding packages, which was perfect for our 60 guests. A number of our friends had never been to Vermont, and Grafton really provided the quintessential experience, with the cheese shop and sugar house down the street, the trail center, and the quaint downtown. Olivia, the wedding director, was so helpful and wonderful to work with and all of the staff were super friendly. It really is the perfect wedding venue, and we could not recommend it more!! -

From our first meeting with Olivia, the wedding coordinator for the Grafton Inn, to end of the wedding night, she made planning a wedding weekend very easy and stress free, giving us the wedding we both have been dreaming of.
My husband and I had a very clear vision how we wanted the weekend to flow and give our guests the best possible experience.
The Grafton Inn is in the center of a small quiet town and most buildings around the main Inn are owned by the Grafton Inn. It really felt like we had "rented" the town of Grafton for two days.
We fell in love with the idea that we were the only bride and groom all weekend and that our guests were basically the only people throughout the whole Inn.
From Rehearsal Dinner, full breakfast each morning, Welcome Reception the Friday night before the wedding, to the main event, the food and service was 5 stars. Over a month later, we are still getting comments from our guests about our wedding being the best they have ever attended.
They worked with us on making sure our wedding dream did come true. We wanted to be outside and getting married in December, they worked with us until the very last minute to make sure that happened. It was not like your traditional wedding, where you are in one banquet hall all night.
Each event space brought its own magic and beauty.
Olivia and her staff listen to everything that we wanted. Walking into each space, it was like she had read our minds and set up the spaces just as we would have if we had done it ourselves. They even broke everything down for us to make it super easy to pack up on Sunday morning and go back home.
We could have not asked for a better start to as husband and wife. Thank you so much Olivia and the Grafton Inn.

We had an excellent experience with our wedding here. The burden of having to plan every little detail was lifted by Olivia, our wedding coordinator. We chose the food, wine, apps, basic color schemes and locations and everything was handled for us. It was great. Our family and close friends stayed for two nights and everyone said they had a great time, and best of all they were even able to bring their dogs since Grafton Inn has dog friendly rooms. We were pretty flexible with what we wanted but there seemed to be some flexibility with choices and timing because we had such an intimate wedding but we aren’t groomzillas so it wasn’t a huge deal. It was nice getting married in front of the fire place and having a cocktail hour prior to dinner in the little bar in front of the fireplace at the old pine bar was super nice too. Everything was still decorated for Christmas, including the town, so we were able to have a snowy, cozy winter wedding and it was perfect. I have no complaints, everything went smoothly, planning was super easy and it was a lovely little wedding that didn’t destroy our bank account. (Which means a nice honeymoon and an extra international trip this year) Also this location is gay friendly and we had zero problems as a same sex couple getting married here. -

I cannot recommend this place highly enough!! It's such a unique experience, having a venue that's both elegant and cozy. The Grafton Inn offers quintessential Vermont charm that's not just bougie, but actually rich with history. Having the lodging/restaurant/Phelps barn/outdoor spaces all within walking distance, it really feels like you and all your favorite people commandeer a small town for the weekend. We saw friends and family every time we crossed the street or stopped by the inn for coffee.
We were married last Saturday (September 30th), and our guests were gushing about the comfort of the rooms (including so many spacious suites!), the quality of the food, and the friendliness of everyone working there.
Olivia in particular was SO helpful as a coordinator. She was our point of contact for over two years as we planned our wedding. Not only does she understand the venue inside and out (quite literally!) and help you build a timeline, she also addressed our vendors' questions and had an uncanny way of knowing exactly where she was needed at any given moment.
Everything ran so smoothly on our wedding day that we didn't even consider the schedule, and whether we were following it. We got to be fully present and enjoy the day, the toasts, our vows to each other...and, of course, the food and drink.
I'm a planner/over-thinker, and there were STILL so many details that didn't occur to me until I noticed...Grafton has it covered. Like re-using our arbor flowers on the dessert table and our centerpieces at breakfast the next morning. Or saving us a little plate of apps (and stashing a cupcake for me behind in the bar!) in case we were too distracted chatting with our guests to eat. We had some very COVID-cautious folks with us, and they were so understanding and flexible in serving a few meals outside on the patio.
The bridal party in particular felt VERY pampered staying at White Gates house - a gorgeous property with a large patio that overlooks a meadow and babbling brook. Somehow everything about Grafton Inn was more perfect than this over-thinker even planned, from the cheese theme of the town (I'm such a cheese lover that my now-husband buys me a cheese subscription each year for xmas!) to the grand piano in the reading room of White Gates (I also play the piano!)...many, many thanks to the entire team at Grafton Inn for a wonderful weekend that we (and our guests) will always remember!

Our wedding a few weeks ago at the Grafton Inn was absolutely perfect! We're so grateful for Olivia and the team for such a spectacular weekend. From the venue itself, to the customization and planning, to the sequence of the day itself -- all went off without a hitch.
The whole weekend felt very special and personalized - we truly felt like we were "taking over the town", as most of the guests stayed at the Inn or airbnbs in the area. So throughout the weekend our guests were all coming and going, congregating on the lovely front porch for drinks and hanging. Or off to the General Store next door where they'd run into other guests and meet some of our other family members/friends. It was such a quaint setting! It also worked out really well for 120 guests (fairly sizeable group), where during the reception the dance floor was bustling and lively & those taking a break from dancing could get some air outside on the patio. The night before welcome party at the Outdoor Center was also fabulous and looked stunning with string lights and tables; and of course beautiful views by the river. Multiple guests referred to the whole weekend as "intimate" which I think describes the Grafton really well :)
Everyone LOVED the food too (worth a call out in this review!), especially the duck and steak entrees. And all of the passed apps & those featuring cheese! Really high quality food all around.
Olivia and Angela also were pros at making sure both the welcome party and the wedding day festivities were taken care of ahead of time so we could enjoy a stress-free wedding weekend. We basically handed over any personalized/DIY touches (like a collection of photos to hang up, etc) and they took it from there! We felt confident that everything was in good hands and didn't have to worry.
Throughout the whole planning process and the weekend itself they were super organized, knowledgeable, and and their expertise in this whole wedding thing clearly showed!! Everything was seamless. We had the best time -

We couldn't be happier about our experience with the Grafton Inn. It's a beautiful venue in a quaint Vermont town, and the on-site wedding coordinator worked with us closely for the years-long process of planning our wedding (we postponed several times due to covid). Almost all of our guests stayed at the inn, and they loved it. The Inn also takes care of catering; for us, they managed a small family dinner on Thursday, a big welcome dinner on Friday, and the reception dinner on Saturday. Everyone we interacted with at the inn was kind, supportive, helpful, and thoughtful. And they didn't miss a detail from years' worth of emails, down to the kid who wanted salad with dressing on the side. We highly recommend them. -

Stop looking & book with Grafton!
There are almost no words that can describe how magical our wedding weekend was at The Grafton Inn. We found Grafton on a whim while searching for microwedding packages as we knew we wanted an all inclusive feel with a smaller guest count in VT. This was the first venue we visited and booked the next day...we felt no need to search further. The Inn is set in a fairytale-like little town that our guests basically took over in full for the weekend. The food was top-notch - from breakfast buffets, to apps, to the wedding dinner, to dessert...all rave reviews from everyone. The Inn rooms & guesthouses allowed for separation but also were perfect for spending time together and celebrating. Finally, the team at Grafton could go up against the best in the industry and totally made the entire experience memorable for us. There was nothing they didn't do to accommodate us and make our lives easier...they went so far beyond the call of duty. Olivia & Angela are the ones you'll work most closely with - they are saints! - but they have a stellar team behind them that didn't go unnoticed, either. There is nothing more we could have asked for or would have done differently. Bonus points for them connecting us with a JP & florist who both also exceeded our expectations and then some! Anyone who’s planning on getting married in Vermont needs to book Grafton Inn. Whether you’re planning a destination wedding in Vermont or you’re local, Grafton Inn checks all the boxes for the most picturesque, charming New England location.
Adrian and I visited Grafton a few years ago before we became Vermont residents. Even before we got engaged, I knew this was where I wanted to celebrate our wedding.
We wanted our family and friends to experience Vermont’s peace and lush greenery - and Grafton offered exactly that plus more. We loved how much of the town and grounds of the Inn are still preserved. The respect in the history allowed us to share Vermont’s natural beauty with our guests who have never been to Vermont before.
Our welcome dinner/ rehearsal was at the vegetable garden and the ceremony was at the swimming pond. No one had to worry about driving anywhere because they were all staying at the inn and all our wedding festivities were within a few minutes walk from anyone’s room or guest house. It’s a huge plus for our older guests and those who like to party. :)
Grafton provided a unique wedding experience because it wasn’t just a one-day affair and we were the only wedding party there. I think it keeps the planning and the partying intimate!
Throughout the weekend, it was indescribable to walk around the quaint neighborhood and pass our wedding guests (and their dogs!) also taking a stroll or taking advantage of Grafton’s complimentary bike rentals.
We loved that there were so many options for our guests to explore around the town. Most of our guests were from out of state (the Midwest, Cali, and NJ/NY region).
New Yorkers won’t be disappointed by the food. It’s been six months and guests are still raving about how much they loved the daily breakfast, the attentiveness of the staff, and simply the best wedding they’ve been to.
Side note, my husband ate about a dozen Boston Crème doughnuts the night of the wedding saying they were the best he’s ever had!
Olivia and Angela are amazing with planning. They’re personable, easy to communicate with, and have great attention to detail. I didn’t have to worry about a thing - even the weather! Adrian and I surely felt like mayor and First Lady of the town!
There’s something about historic towns, and Vermont definitely has a ton of them. But Grafton (and its people) have the warmth that can put anyone at ease.
If we could, Adrian and I would have another big celebration for an anniversary here. This place is just that special. -

I am very late in writing this review but it was just so amazing.My husband and I could not recommend this venue enough. The location was perfect and ideal for a fall, New England wedding. We got married September 25, 2020 and the weather was more than we could have asked for. Al most peak foliage and in the 70s for temperature. All of our guests stayed at the inn and had nothing but great things to say about the rooms and breakfast in the morning. The town itself was so adorable and had everything we needed within walking distance, like a general store with delicious sandwiches, coffee, beer, wine, and snacks. The town hall was across the street from the inn so we were able to get our marriage license the day before the wedding which was so convenient. We were married by the pond and had our cocktail hour on the White Gate House patio, and reception under a tent at the house as well. Even though we had a COVID wedding and had to size down significantly, people still tell us that our wedding was the best they had ever attended because of the Grafton staff and amazing feel of the town. We were never able to have a food tasting for our wedding because of Covid which was really sad but the food was beyond expectations day of the wedding. Olivia, our wedding planner at the grafton inn, was unbelievable. She went above and beyond, and was extremely responsive. She was a server at our rehearsal dinner and helped mc at the reception. Fast pony flowers was provided by the inn and she made my floral dreams come true!! The innkeeper, Angela, was also amazing and responsive. Everyone was just so helpful the whole way through! We can’t say enough good things about the Grafton Inn and can’t wait to spend more family vacations and anniversaries there! -

Please my God…. I’m so deadly serious when I say don’t go anywhere else. Grafton is truly the BEST place to get married!! It’s gorgeous, secluded, and the people behind it are perfect. Incredible Fairytale Wedding
We had the most magical wedding at The Grafton Inn last weekend. It was peak leaf weekend and the weather was perfect. But more importantly, the location of The Grafton Inn was really what made it so special. Our guests, who stayed the whole weekend at the Inn, had nothing but rave reviews. From the rooms, the food, and the location to the incredible staff. The Inn is perfectly set up for a wedding. The bridal party stayed in White Gates and we had various family in other houses on the property. It really feels like the town of Grafton becomes your own movie set over the weekend. It was so special! We held our Rehearsal Dinner in the Vegetable Garden and it felt like a fairytale. Melissa Sheehan of Fastpony Flowers did a beautiful job with the flowers and candles. The food, provided by The Grafton Inn, was excellent. We lit bonfires and made s'mores. Olivia Johnson, the Grafton Inn's wedding coordinator, is incredible to work with and really made all of our wishes come true. Olivia and Angela Comstock, the innkeeper, accommodated all of our needs. They were always quick to respond throughout the planning process and made sure everything ran smoothly that weekend. On the day of the Ceremony, both Angela and Olivia were calm and helpful. They helped guide us through the process seamlessly. We held an outdoor ceremony by the Swimming Pond. Our cocktail hour, back at the Inn, was fantastic. The Inn accommodated us in providing a Signature Cocktail, which our guests loved. Everyone raved about the passed appetizers as well. The dinner was exactly how I imagined; the dining room was filled with candleabra and flowers (thanks to Melissa) and the food was incredible. It felt like a glowing dream. We had the Silver Arrow band playing at the reception, which was a fantastic time. All in all, our only complaint is that the weekend was just too short! We wish it could have lasted forever. We will certainly replay that weekend over and over for the rest of our lives. We are so incredibly grateful to Olivia, Angela, and the Grafton Inn for such a beautiful weekend. -

A dream come true!

Grafton is as amazing as all of the reviews. Our experience was exceptional. Simply it was the wedding of our dream and the Grafton Inn was a significant reason why.
We selected the Grafton Inn after seeing all the positive reviews about their location and food. The town of Grafton is the perfect Vermont town, you can walk to the country store, Grafton Cheese shop, tennis courts, or to the walking trails. Then there is the Inn itself which beautiful to look at and stay in. The chef and food were everything we hoped for, food was our most important part of our wedding and we loved working with the chef on the perfect meal.
What we found was the best part of the entire Grafton Inn wedding experience is the staff. Everyone is extremely kind, helpful, and works to make your dreams come to fruition. Especially Olivia, who is without a doubt one of the most helpful people. She works with you to understand your vision as you work through planning, is always available to answer questions, and the weekend of the wedding works tirelessly to ensure everything is setup and executed.
An amazing town, beautiful inn, great food, and the best people, Grafton Inn was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We are excited to return in the future any chance we get. -

Incredible Full Service Fairytale Venue
Choosing Grafton Inn Vermont for our wedding was seriously the best thing we could have ever done! Planning the wedding through the pandemic and from Australia could have been complicated and difficult, but Olivia made it an absolute breeze. It was such a relief to have everything taken care of and to equally feel like we had complete control and customization over every detail. I don't easily hand over my vision to just anyone, but something gave me full trust in Olivia and the Grafton Inn. On the wedding day, everything was absolutely seamless thanks to the experience of Olivia, Angela, and the team. My husband and I are already nostalgic for Grafton and cannot wait to return. -

Quite literally the best, most magical weekend we could have ever imagined for our wedding. We are still basking in the glow from our wedding weekend in Grafton and so much of that has to do with The Grafton Inn and the special people who work at this storybook venue. We can't stop talking about it and neither can our family and friends. We, and everyone at the wedding were blown away and constantly impressed by everything - it felt like they were always four steps ahead! The hospitality, friendliness and overall demeanor of all the staff was so welcoming, warm and attentive. Beyond the people, was the incredible food; all of our guests and us couldn't stop talking about the food - absolutely incredible. I was eating off my wife's plate after finishing mine every morning! Everything about the weekend was truly and absolutely perfect, we wouldn't change a thing and we would do it over again in a heartbeat! And, we would be remiss to not mention both Olivia and Angela. We feel so lucky to have them in our lives, let alone help us and guide us through the biggest weekend of our lives. A dream wedding!
The Grafton Inn was the most amazing place to have a winter wedding or probably any wedding. The inn had absolutely everything I wanted; from stunning landscape, buildings, and rooms to enough houses and rooms so everyone could stay in the same place (which makes everything more fun.) The food was also incredible, hands down best wedding food. We stayed in White Gates which was a small mansion on the property that was so cool, with fireplaces and a baby grand piano, it was perfect for pictures, relaxing, and gathering. Olivia the wedding planner was the absolute best, she was so helpful and anything I asked, she was like yeah we can do that. She helped make my wedding so special and so very us! Wedding planning can be stressful but Olivia, Angela and The Grafton Inn made it so easy and enjoyable. It was the best decision we made having the wedding there, I highly, highly recommend it. -

The people: Olivia and Angela really know what they're doing here with weddings at the Grafton Inn. They are true professionals in the industry and more importantly to us, genuine, caring, and honest people. They were incredibly easy-going and flexible over the last 2 years of planning, re-planning...scheduling, rescheduling...when the big weekend finally arrived, everything went off without a hitch. They were there every step of the way kindly keeping us on schedule, making sure we didn't miss any important cues. They don't skimp on any of the details and listened to everything we had to say. They made an event that requires a lot of coordinating, planning, and preparation feel very easy in the moment (though we appreciate very much how hard they were working for us the entire weekend). They were everywhere at once, it felt like on the actual wedding day. I could go on for page after page. We really cannot speak highly enough of them and their team in Grafton. If you and yours decide that this location is the place for you, take comfort in knowing that you are going to be well taken care of.
The Inn: Quintessential, preserved historic Inn in a humble and honest old Vermont town with everything you could ask for. Charming, well taken care of historic buildings. Comfy and homey, but on a grand, exquisite scale (you feel pampered, spoiled, and taken care of while you are here). The Inn, surrounding Inn houses, and town in general is just a beautiful place to spend any amount of time. Ripe for picture taking and relaxing in just about any light. Waking up to the sounds of the nearby woods and river is the perfect way to start your day and enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee. The local general store has literally a little bit of anything you could need. They are continuously investing in preserving and upgrading the property and buildings, and it shows. The love for the place is palpable, and cheer and happiness is in abundance. We cannot wait to go back.
The Wedding: The Grafton Inn was the perfect spot for our perfect Vermont wedding. We were fortunate enough to have 3 days of absolutely perfect weather in early May. The Grafton Outdoor center provided plenty of opportunity to get away for some activities during wedding related downtime and was a perfect spot for hosting a "day before" group gathering for some drinks, music, s’mores, and bonfire! A lot of guests commented on how unique, fun, and intimate of an experience it was to have that as part of the weekend. It especially gave us a lot more free time to mingle and reminisce at length with a lot of our guests. The Inn itself was the perfect venue for us. They have multiple outdoor ceremony locations (and the coordinators, Olivia and Angela, are flexible on the setup at each of these), and there are also some well-appointed bad weather indoor backup locations in town. Multitude of perfect picture taking locations are all within a short walk or 5 minute drive or less from the Inn itself too, which was a bonus. We really can't think of much more you could ask for in a wedding venue and team behind the scenes.
The Grafton Inn is a beautiful, historic place that doubles as the perfect all-inclusive wedding venue, with an absolute rockstar staff line-up to back it all up. Grafton is now and will be for us for the rest of our days, a truly special, and magical place.
Get married here. You will not regret it. -

There are not words to explain how wonderful and accommodating the team at the Grafton Inn was throughout our wedding planning process. My husband and I knew from the moment we got to Grafton Inn that this was where we wanted to get married. It was only the second venue we visited and had no reason to look any further. The experience here is different than other venues, it is a full weekend of being submersed in a quintessential New England town surrounded by all that you love. The community garden was where we held our ceremony, I had dreamt of an aisle lined with trees as long as I can remember. Dinner was served in the inn and then you move to the barn for the reception.. this is such an amazing concept. Everyone sits and enjoys dinner and then moves to the dancing and fun. No one gets stuck in their assigned seats in a huge hall. THE STAFF - I don't know how they do it. Every member of the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you have the best experience of your life. They are everywhere and know what you need before you know you need it. The person pouring coffee in the morning may have served your wine the night before. I am not sure they ever go home! Truly amazing service. Olivia is outstanding. She knows what she is doing - she ensured our day was perfect down to every detail. IF something went wrong, I never knew about it. She kept me calm, she was always there if needed, definitely someone you want around on your day. Angela, the inn keeper, also incredible and you can tell by the amazing staff she has. She is everywhere, helping out where needed and making this place run seamlessly. Cannot recommend this venue enough. One of our musts was that we didn't want to work or stress the day of and this amazing team made sure of that. It was our dream wedding and more. -

We only looked at one venue for our wedding and this was it. We had very items on our must have list: enough rooms for all of our guests to stay and and true Vermont experience.
We learned that the Inn would offer us so much more than just those two things. Olivia is an absolutely amazing coordinator, who calmly got us through a pandemic and down the aisle, never once questioning whether she could offer us our perfect day. Angela and Kirk, the innkeepers, welcomed us and treated our entire family like their own. And the staff was just incredibly kind and devoted to making our day amazing.
Our rooms were clean and impeccable, the food was hot and perfectly cooked, and the desserts, were to die for. Everyone’s plate was empty, and we all know the food is the biggest priority at a wedding! Chef Cal is a genius.
Our guests still talk about the food and the atmosphere, the landscape and backdrop that the Inn sits among and the people, who made our day what it was.
I will never doubt our choice to pick the Grafton Inn. I couldn’t imagine having it anywhere else. I look forward to going back in the years to come! -

Completely perfect
We were so excited when we first read about the Grafton Inn’s ‘Microwedding’ package. It seemed so easy, affordable, and intimate. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go this route. The entire experience was completely perfect for us and our 18 loved ones. Olivia and her team are a well-oiled machine, ready to accommodate in any way they can. I changed my ceremony location and time the morning of due to weather, and they made it happen. The food was delicious, accommodations were top notch. Our photos came out amazing because the Inn and grounds make such a gorgeous backdrop. Whether you’re doing a micro or traditional wedding, I highly recommend the Grafton Inn! -

My husband and I had the best wedding weekend at the Grafton Inn. When we were venue searching in Vermont, we knew we wanted a small, intimate affair with greenery and mountains. We knew instantly that this was the place to say our "I do's" in front of our loved ones because of the charm. We were so pleased from start to finish that they were able to accommodate our group and answer all of our questions. When our group arrived, it was instantly like walking in a dream-like world; the small town made us feel like we were the only people there, the exquisite food had everyone 'mmmm-ing' constantly, and the beautiful scenery with the hum of the Saxtons River close by was just amazing to experience. We got nothing but compliments about how awesome this place was by our friends and family! Our day ran so smooth with the help of Olivia and team, and we really felt the micro wedding package was of great value to our small elopement style wedding. We could not have experienced a better day and we wish we could relive it every day! -

Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for all the work that Olivia and her team to make our wedding happen! Olivia was extremely responsive to every email that I sent. I think we practically spoke at least twice each week, even before signing the contract! My husband loves the historical aspect of the Inn and its quaintness of it. We also felt that Olivia was straightforward to talk to and wasn’t pushy at all as she talked about what the Grafton Inn has to offer.
Being that we were planning a wedding during a pandemic with ever-changing Covid gathering restrictions. We were crossing our fingers that we could have a micro wedding with no more than 15 guests, and she worked with us to plan as if we might be able to have some guests, but also preparing for the most restricted setting of just having an elopement with the two of us. We ultimately decided to have the two of us since that would be the safest way to go and avoid the hurt feelings with family members who may not be able to make the cut for our guest list of 15. She helped create a schedule for our weekend and found a florist that could include my succulent in my bouquet. My husband and I did hit a little bump on Friday when we were supposed to arrive due to me messing up the appointment time with the town clerk, but Olivia was there to check in with the clerk to see if we were able to pick up the license at our scheduled time. She even got the clerk to stay past our appointment time to try to pick up the license.
The dinner at the Pub was great, and there was live music that night which was awesome. The day of the wedding could not have been any better. The wait staff at the Tavern and Pine room were friendly as well. Our meals were fantastic and delicious. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for two couples on their wedding. Everything that was stated in the elopement package was already in the room, ready for us.
We had time to decorate the space, and before the ceremony started and Olivia lit all my candles and started the fireplace for us. Even though the whole process was 2 hours, we enjoyed every second of it, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. It was just us, the officiant, Olivia, Allie, and our family on Zoom during the ceremony. As my husband and I took photos, Olivia broke down the ceremony space and organized my materials, so it was easy for us to pack up. I am so glad that I could find this location on my Google search for a micro wedding in Vermont. It was such as great value, and I truly did not feel overwhelmed during the planning process. Vermont has a special place in our heart, and now this location too.

Best decision - Couldn't be happier!
My husband and I had to change our plans for a big wedding due to COVID, but decided to keep our original date. After a lot of searching and discouragement, we found Grafton Inn's elopement package and finally got excited about our day again. Olivia was so incredibly kind and patient with us from day 1 of planning. She was responsive and genuinely cared about making our wedding special. Ali, our photographer, was amazing and made us feel very comfortable. The Grafton Inn is beautiful and we are so excited it is now such a big part of our lives. You won't regret choosing Grafton Inn for your venue for any size event, but the elopement package is amazing. -

When we got engaged last fall we knew we wanted to do a winter wedding and something small. I’m in graduate school and needed to get onto my partner's health insurance before next winter, so…we went for the elopement, just the two of us! I looked at tons of different elopement packages from all over Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine before finding The Grafton Inn, and I am so glad I found them.
Having Olivia's help throughout this process as our wedding planner and having the florist and photography handled as part of the elopement package really sold us and made Grafton our top choice. So many venues don’t provide vendors or recommendations for photography and flowers, or even a JOP in elopement packages, but were much more expensive! We would have had to coordinate that ourselves in addition to preparing, and I wanted something that would be less stressful on my end. Thankfully, we had Olivia and everyone in Grafton instead! Our photographer, Ali Pierre (Loveland Creative), was amazing and made taking our wedding photos so easy and fun. We wanted to do outdoor scenes for our photos, and Ali knew the perfect places to hit our inspiration photos. Our florist, Fast Pony Flowers, also provided the most amazing dried floral bouquet and boutonniere that nailed our aesthetic!
I cannot recommend Olivia and the rest of the staff at the Inn enough. Everyone was so accomodating especially with COVID-19; we had private dining for our dinners as we weren't too keen on indoor dining, and the MKT store in the village provided a delicious to-go option for lunch.
We are already talking about visiting again, simply because the scenery is so incredibly, beautiful and the people were wonderful. If you're looking for an easy elopement, The Grafton Inn is the best both with service and the value of the package! -

I cannot say enough good things about Olivia, her team, and the Grafton Inn. We put this wedding together in a matter of months due to the circumstances of the economy, our wedding date changed numerous times and numerous locations. This must have been fate because having our wedding at the Grafton Inn was everything I ever wanted and more! We have 24 people total at our wedding and I can honestly say, there will be 24 people going back to Grafton Inn every year, everyone was in love with the location and atmosphere, it's a win win for everyone! -

We cancelled our large wedding this fall and decided to look for a micro wedding package instead due to COVID-19. The Grafton Inn really thought of everything when they put together this all inclusive package. From the rehearsal dinner, accommodations, wedding ceremony and reception, flowers and food they went above and beyond! They allowed us to customize and add any detail we wanted, we had 24 guest at our wedding and every single person raved about the venue, food, adorable town and service they received. For any couples looking to downsize their wedding but not sacrifice the small and special details the Grafton Inn has the perfect micro package for you! -

Wonderful Micro Wedding at White Gates
Food was amazing. Staff: Olivia the planner took great care of us and was there for everything we needed, Angela who officiated was super responsive to our requests with the ceremony, and Ali the photographer was super fun and took amazing photos. The florist nailed it- bouquet, greens, headdress were all perfect. The Inn was such a nice setting. Even though we were a micro wedding we saw our friends all over town and at breakfast. They made it feel like a big wedding. White Gates was charming and such a great venue for a small outdoor wedding. -

Olivia and Angela - and the entire team at the Grafton Inn were such a dream to work with! Throughout the planning of our wedding, I thought - several times - that they couldn't possibly do all of the things that they were saying they would...during our wedding weekend, I was thrilled to see that they really did...and so much more! We had a blast! From our first walk-through, during the tasting, and for the entirety of the weekend itself - we had so much fun, and no reason to stress.
We loved that the full weekend, from Friday bonfire through Sunday brunch, felt like one big family reunion. The bulk of our guests were traveling from out of town and it was a priority for us that they felt like the trip was worth it - we have no doubt that they did.
The Grafton team took great care of us. We had only 6 months to plan our wedding, and we were never made to feel rushed or overwhelmed by the process - I credit this largely to Olivia and Angela. Olivia had tons of good advice and insights to share when asked, but wasn't ever pushy.
Now, afterwards, we love returning to the Inn - it feels like we are part of their family. -
