My wife and I got married at the Grafton Inn this past August. We were privileged enough to book the Miles Band for our reception, with Peter Miles performing solo acoustic guitar during our ceremony. Miles was a pleasure to work with during the planning process, taking the time to understand our needs and accommodating special song requests. It is difficult to overstate the level of talent, charisma, and positive energy that he and the band displayed on our wedding day. Miles performed beautifully during our ceremony and helped create the intimate and warm atmosphere that we hoped to cultivate. During the reception, the Miles Band performed our requested first dance song with feeling and grace, and then succeeded in immediately getting all of our family and friends on the dance floor. There was not a moment that the band was playing in which people were not dancing. Miles and the band showed not only top-notch musicianship, but developed an easygoing and jovial rapport with the crowd. Of all of the aspects of our wedding, we have heard the most feedback about the music, which has been universally positive. Many of our loved ones commented that they felt they were at a concert rather than a wedding reception. The setlist was a great mix of songs from various genres and eras, proving that the band has a remarkable range and can cater to any audience. We’ve heard the Miles band play multiple times and knew they’d be a great fit for our wedding! Peter was responsive and helpful with song choices for the ceremony. Day of, the band was one of the highlights - they played a great mix of pop, rock, funk, with something for everyone. Would absolutely recommend!!

The Miles Band did played at our wedding of around 240 guests and they were amazing. We went with sound for the ceremony, 3 piece jazz trio for cocktail hour, and 6 piece band for reception. Sound was great for the ceremony, and the jazz trio really set the mood for cocktails. However the highlight was the 6 piece band. They sounded amazing and had everyone on the dance floor until late. I got many comments about how good the band was.  They also learned our first dance song and played it just like the original. Miles band was really a highlight for us and the other guests. Miles also MCed the reception and did a really nice job making key announcements and moving things along without overdoing it. I would highly recommend miles band for anyone looking for a wedding band.
