My husband and I got married at Chez Nous November 2024 and it was everything we dreamed of. John and Cheryl were an absolute dream to work with. Their passion for the property and making wedding dreams a reality made the planing process so enjoyable. We cannot recommend this venue enough. You will not regret choosing it as a wedding venue! Our experience with Sleepy Hollow Inn was nothing short of perfect. Emma was extremely responsive, helpful, and kind and the Inn was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. All of our family and friends (even those who live in Vermont) were commenting on how beautiful this venue is. This is a truly special place and is perfect if you are looking for a full Vermont wedding weekend experience.

We (early 30’s) had 3 “musts” for our wedding: an inclusive venue where our loved ones can stay on premise, a beautiful Vermont backdrop, and that nobody would leave hungry. The Wilburton hit all 3 of these and more! Housing: we had ~100 friends and family stay in the houses on the venue campus and in the historic mansion. Everyone was comfortable in the houses and the mansion and it was so much fun to walk around the campus knowing anyone we bumped into was a guest of the wedding. The bridal suite was also perfect in terms of spacing and set-up for getting ready and allowing us to be comfortable for the entire weekend. Having most people "on-campus" in addition to hosting the welcome bonfire, wedding ceremony + reception, and send-off breakfast at the same place made it even more special and simplified the logistics of the weekend for us and our guests. Natural Vermont Beauty: the views were INCREDIBLE. If you want the backdrop of your ceremony to be peak Vermont foliage, the back lawn is perfect! All our guests raved about the setting. Additionally, the Wilburton is tastefully decorated. The Mansion is a classic brick mansion with marble patios that ooze elegance without overshadowing nature. The owners (family run) also collect art that symbolizes love. These quirky statues are seen throughout the venue and just add charm to the event that keeps everyone intrigued in their surroundings without overshadowing the event itself. Our guests also loved exploring Manchester and we got so many compliments on the local hikes, stores, activities and even the beauty of their travels to the town. Nobody leaves hungry: the Wilburton is hands down the best wedding food we’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous (the passed apps during cocktail hour were great, too). The son in the family operates his own local farm supplying many of the ingredients, and you can tell how important the freshness of ingredients was in the flavors and quality of the meals. We’ve never seen so many people complement vegetables! Additionally, the entire Wilburton staff (set-up, servers, bartenders, etc.) led by Meesha is incredible. Meesha helped us stay organized and provided lots of resources that helped us choose vendors (all great) and make decisions that felt informed and stress free. She was also indispensable the weekend of the wedding, keeping us and our families on track, calm, excited and she thought of everything, including things we didn't even know to think about!

We had the BEST wedding at the Old Lantern in November 2025! The barn was absolutely beautiful for our reception and was a perfect size for our guest count (140ish). We lucked out with the weather in being able to have our ceremony outside right by the barn, but had the option to have it inside the barn (which would have still been a wonderful option). All of the staff we worked with throughout the entire planning process were so kind and helpful, and they made the wedding day itself run so smoothly. We really liked that catering by Backyard Bistro was partnered with the Old Lantern so we didn't have to worry about finding an outside vendor. We rented the barn for the whole weekend (Friday-Sunday) which gave us plenty of time to set up and take down without feeling rushed. We also rented the Inn on site to stay in with our wedding party for the weekend and it was such a great decision because it let us be right on the property and it was so fun to spend extra time with our friends each night. Our hair and makeup artists were able to come to us and all the girls got ready in the large common space in the Inn while the boys got ready in the parlor suite in the barn. There were so many great places for photos between the inn and the barn and our wedding pictures were beautiful. We are so grateful for this venue and would HIGHLY recommend it for your wedding!

If you are looking for a beautiful and quintessential Vermont wedding, look no further. Choosing to get married here was easily the best planning/vendor decision we made; we would choose Lareau again 100 more times. The entire experience was beyond what we expected, from the planning, to staying at the inn with our friends, to having a smooth and fun wedding day, to details like having a roaring fire to sit around at the end of both nights. Helen, the event coordinator, is an absolute beast and working with her is a huge benefit of getting married at Lareau. We’ve had many friends talk about challenges communicating with various wedding venues – you will not have that stress here. Helen helps make the process pretty seamless, by checking in with us in the months leading up, coordinating the inn stays, helping us plan all the details of the catering and bar, and more. We loved working with her! On the wedding day, the staff handles everything, so we just enjoyed ourselves. The ceremony space is peaceful and secluded, and when you walk back after the ceremony, you round the corner to see the fire pit roaring, lawn games and reception set up. It's a perfect Vermont scene. Our reception in the pavilion was so much fun and the food was, of course, wonderful. My friends and family raved about how much they loved the food for a long time after! We had 130 guests with a LOT of energy, tambourines, singing, and dancing, and there was plenty of space in the pavilion. Anyone with the opportunity to get married here absolutely should!

Wedding of my dreams at the Quechee Inn!!!!! It was truly an incredible weekend. We received so many compliments from guest on our wedding - from the scenery and the food/service to the intimacy of the ceremony on the front lawn. I could not have imagined a more perfect weekend. First, the staff were incredible. Britny, Michele and Rick were super responsive and attentive to our needs during the planning process. And not to mention, they are very kind and good people. Working with them was easy. All staff during the reception, Sunday brunch, and entire stay were exceptional. Second, you cannot beat the views at the Quechee Inn. With the hills in the background and kids running around in the field to guests enjoying s’mores by the bonfire during the dancing breaks, it was truly a unique day. Third, it was a super intimate ceremony and wedding. Getting to take over the Quechee Inn with your selection of guests for the weekend makes it a unique experience. Fourth, THE FOOD. Dinner portions are big, so your guests definitely won’t go hungry. The appetizers during cocktail hour were also superb. Brunch was delicious (try the pancakes). And finally, the drinks were amazing. Passing around his and her cocktails made a huge difference for our guests. I am running out of room to write, but you will not regret getting married at the Quechee Inn. Best decision I have ever made in my life!

So happy we found this venue for our rehearsal dinner! They did a wonderful job working with us from a distance and providing a beautiful setting and lovely meal for our event. The Great Room was warm and charming and the service was spot on! Working with Maya to plan the event was great as she thought of every detail!

My wife and I just had our wedding there this past weekend and it was amazing. Tory and Barry (the owners) are super nice and very helpful. They have been doing this for years and know how to plan a wedding properly. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a barn wedding!

We knew from the beginning that we wanted to get married somewhere that offered both mountains and water—a combination that is surprisingly hard to find. Mountain Top Resort invited us for a complimentary overnight stay to tour the venue, and from that moment, we were completely hooked. The views are absolutely breathtaking and somehow even more stunning in person than they appear in photos. One of the things we loved most was that every event during our wedding weekend was held on-site, including our welcome party, ceremony, reception, after-party, and farewell breakfast. Most of our guests stayed at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed their accommodations, as well as the many amenities available, including the pool, horseback riding, paddleboarding, and more. The on-site shuttle service made transportation easy and accessible for everyone before and after events. Our guests consistently raved about the entire experience, especially the incredible food and how seamless everything felt from start to finish, and of course the breathtaking views. They also commented on how professional and nice all the staff were- from the shuttle drivers to the waitstaff. It was important to me to incorporate personal touches throughout the weekend, including DIY flowers, custom table settings, desserts, and other details. At no point did Mountain Top Resort pressure us to use specific vendors or try to upsell additional services. They truly allowed us to create the wedding we envisioned, and the result was nothing short of magical. One of the biggest advantages of planning a wedding at Mountain Top Resort is that both a wedding planner and day-of coordinator are included. Elizabeth- the day of coordinator thought of everything and executed the night beautifully (she even brought our leftover desserts back to our accommodation and transported my first dress back as well)! Every member of the team was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. They welcomed our dog as part of the celebration, provided a tent for our string trio, and thoughtfully arranged alternative transportation for a guest who used a wheelchair and required a smaller shuttle. From our very first visit, the General Manager told us, “We don’t like to say no,” and that philosophy was reflected throughout our entire experience. The team consistently went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend everything we hoped it would be. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue.
