Spectacular venue for out of state wedding
We live in San Francisco and wanted to have a rustic wedding in VT that would be fun for our guests from all over the world to attend, but would still be reasonably priced. I initially didn't even look into Tourterelle because I thought it was so beautiful that it would be too expensive, but it turned out to be the same price as other less inspiring venues. I honestly felt like I won the lottery of wedding venues. It was incredibly easy to plan with Christine from remote and I never even saw the place until week of. Pictures don't really capture how beautiful this place is. Here's why Tourterelle is the BEST:Sent on 07/28/2019
1. Incredibly beautiful, a place you would not be remiss to host guests flying in internationally
2. Christine is extremely professional, organized, flexible, so really easy to coordinate. I never felt worried about whether my day would be executed flawlessly and I was right! This peace of mind was so important because I was so overwhelmed with everything else. I didn't have a wedding planner and working with Christine before and day off was actually the easiest part of planning my wedding.
3. AMAZING food. Everybody was raving about how good the food was. Especially the chicken and mushroom ravioli!
4. Fantastic value, so reasonably priced
5. For summer weddings, they have AC!
I seriously love this place forever and can't wait to come back every time I visit Vermont. My wedding day was flawless and beautiful beyond expectations.

the most dreamsy
we didn't even consider any other venues-- we booked tourterelle based on it's situation between 2 mountain ranges and based on its FOOD. it has my favorite food in Vermont. its menu is so creative and elegant, but also so unpretentious and straight up yums. if you care about your guests enjoying themselves, food is critical-- they literally don't give a hoot about anything else, and tourterelle is destined to be delicious every time. it's slow, purposeful elements that make every meal so memorable.
we were blessed with a really weatherly perfect day, but we were also blessed with a wonderful wedding coordinator, whitney. she comes with the venue, and she's an in real life angel. she's so sweet, patient, thoughtful, smart, and she cares about getting it exactly right for you. I gave her pretty minimal direction because i'm a clueless person in general, and I just trusted her, and im glad I did. she made it all happen; I just showed up. and that's exactly what I damn well wanted. thank you, whitney!
I have no regrets about our wedding day-- it was so fun, peaceful, and wild, and that was in large part due to the staff at tourterelle and the little mountain barn grotto they provide. thank you, my stars.

We loved our experience with Tourterelle. Whitney and Christine were so nice, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The venue is absolutely beautiful. All our guests raved about the food. One guest said they felt like they were at a wedding from a movie :) The view is breath taking. Even though you are close to rt 7, dont worry you cannot hear it at all! I actually ended up getting sick on our wedding night and Whitney and Christine were really helpful with making me feel comfortable. Highly recommended!Sent on 10/06/2018
