We got married at the Summit Lodge in Killington, Vermont this past August, and it truly could not have been more perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—tucked in the mountains with gorgeous views and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the most unique and amazing parts was being able to have the entire property to ourselves for four days. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, intimate, and so special for us and our guests. From the welcome gathering to the wedding day and everything in between, it felt like our own private mountain retreat. Angela, the coordinator, was incredible to work with and made the entire process feel seamless. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together perfectly. Her support staff, especially Brigitte, were equally amazing—so helpful, organized, and genuinely kind throughout the entire weekend. They made us feel completely taken care of and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. The owner, Emmett, was also fantastic and offered so much helpful advice along the way. It was clear how much he cares about the experience couples and their guests have there. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran—so many people have told us it was their favorite wedding they’ve ever been to. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly. We also highly recommend asking about RambleTree, one of their partnered bands that plays Irish music during the winter months, for a late-night set. It was one of the highlights of our wedding and really added to the Irish charm of the whole celebration.

We had such an amazing experience at Killington Mountain Resort. We held our ceremony and reception at the Peak Lodge, which required guests to take the K-1 gondola to get there. It was such a unique and beautiful setting. Additionally, we hosted our Welcome Party and Farewell Breakfast at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel, and everything was perfect. Jessica Alberty and the entire events team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were professional, competent, and kind throughout all of our events. In the months leading up to the wedding, Jessica was incredibly helpful, always available to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. And about the food….the food was SO.GOOD. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was. From the gondola ride to the stunning setting to the incredible food, our experience at Killington was unforgettable.

Words can’t describe how pleased we were with Trailside for our wedding in September 2025, but I’ll try. Josh and Ann are incredibly friendly, detail-oriented, and punctual. They answered every email inquiry we had over the 11-ish months of planning our wedding within 1-2 days. And we’d never planned something like this before, so we had a LOT of questions. They made it incredibly easy to plan all the details specific to their venue (every available amenity, dimensions, etc.) without requiring additional onsite visits. They have a default Wedding Weekend plan down to a science, and respected all of our desired deviations from that default plan while still offering specific advice from their years of experience. The venue itself is lovely. Our guests complimented the quality of the rooms and the beauty of the natural scenery. It’s perfectly situated for guests to easily take nature walks, hikes, or ride to the top of Killington peak in their free time. They provided the services of a Wedding Planner for us as part of their base package, and they 100% delivered beyond our expectations in this regard too. When our primary reception caterer failed to provide services they were contracted for (setting dishware/tableware, washing dishes, filling water glasses), Josh and Anne jumped into action and completely took over. They tableset our entire reception, washed all the dishes themselves, and filled water glasses to ensure dinner could be served as early as possible. When our caterer even forgot one of the primary entrees, Trailside already had a backup plan to order emergency pizzas from nearby and settle the cost at a later date. Even outside the scope of a catering disaster, they consistently helped us to unload and organize our décor, keep the bonfire lit and warm, and kept s'more tables and other amenities stocked. They truly did not have to perform at the level they did, but they even employed additional helpers as needed to make sure we were never behind schedule. It let us truly relax and enjoy the company of our loved ones rather than stressing about logistics. If you decide to book a wedding at Trailside, please relax knowing the fact that Josh and Anne are looking out for you and will help steer you in the right direction throughout the process- having a very natural schedule, easy room booking process, and picking quality vendors (they only onboarded our failed reception caterer by exception to their standard list and by my wife and I's explicit request – they no longer approve that vendor for weddings at Trailside). If you’re deciding between venues, my wife and I would wholeheartedly recommend you pick Trailside and sleep easy knowing your wedding will go smoothly and beautifully.

We had our wedding at Mountain Meadows Lodge just two weeks ago and we are still glowing reminiscing about the entire weekend! We had a very large wedding and the staff at MML was extremely accommodating. We wanted to be able to spend quality time with everyone that was coming so we decided to have people over at the lodge on Saturday for yard games, swimming and relaxing followed by a bonfire that night. The wedding was Sunday and truly felt perfect. There is not one thing that we would have changed or done differently. We are so incredibly grateful to the Bill, Marge, Alex, Ali and the rest of the crew that made the weekend possible for us. We were at the maximum capacity for the venue and yet it still felt intimate. Our families had an incredible time and many of them told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. People felt like it was really special which I attribute a lot to the comfortable, inclusive environment. It was also great for kids (which we had over 20 of) as they can swim, run around on the lawn and see/feed the animals. It is hard to but into words just how grateful we are to everyone at MML. We had a vision and you made it possible with ease and understanding. Thank you again. We know that there will be new ownership soon which we are said to hear (though understanding!). We hope that other couples will have similar experiences at the lodge in the future. All our love, Katie and Travis
