Collision Six made our entire wedding reception! I am not kidding when I say they will be the best decision you make if you hire them to be part of your wedding day. Let me tell you why:

We met Matt and instantly knew we were in good hands. Like, he is so cool - you want to be friends with him, lol! Matt was our point of contact for Collision Six (and he is part of the band himself), and from day one, he immediately made us feel like our wedding was the most important thing to him. It’s rare to find and work with someone like Matt. From our initial consultations to seeing Collision Six before booking to the touch bases leading up to our wedding, Matt was incredible at communication and making every detail perfect. Communication is so essential when working with a vendor, and Matt is the best of the best. He is professional, but you can tell how much he genuinely cares about his clients. He is reassuring and confident, offers the best advice, has great vibes, and creates magic. He is top-notch - a legend!

You know your wedding is going to be special when you work with Matt and hire Collision Six. Guess what?! Our wedding was the party of our dreams! I joke about remarrying my husband so we can have them perform again, haha

Collision Six knocked it out of the park on our wedding day. All of our guests LOVED them and had the time of their lives.  I loved that Collision Six listened to the vibe my husband and I wanted to create. We wanted them to play songs that would get people of all ages (including our grandparents) engaged and out on the dance floor. Mission accomplished! Matt said that’s something he watches for as they play all night and tailor to the crowd. You can tell because it works, and the dance floor was packed the whole night.

Matt created the coolest intro for us and our bridal parties to walk into the reception, too. He mc’d the whole night and is incredible at it. They performed and played all of our first dance songs for us. And they learned my favorite song of all time and surprised me with it. It was the best night of our lives, and Collision Six was a HUGE part of why.

Collision Six exceeded all of our expectations. We first decided to move forward with Collision Six for our wedding about a year ago, and Matt was as thorough and caring as we ever could have imagined. He cared deeply about making sure our band reflected our 'perfect' evening. The band brought all of the energy and made our wedding so special.

Collision Six truly made our entire night. Everyone was blown away and kept asking us for their name—we were, of course, more than happy to share!

From the very beginning, they were also an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly organized, professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our night was everything we dreamed it would be. They gave us tons of helpful planning spreadsheets, song ideas, and resources, and took the time to have multiple planning meetings with us to talk through every detail. They helped us build our timeline and think through how the entire night would flow, and because of how thorough and thoughtful they were, I felt so confident going into our wedding night knowing everything was taken care of.

And then the night itself somehow exceeded all of our expectations! Their energy was incredible, and everyone had the absolute best time. Every detail was perfect: the MCing, the packed dance floor during the open dance set, our grand entrance (which was SO much fun—and Nick absolutely killed it on the sax!), our special dance songs played live, and closing out the night with “Country Roads.”

I honestly couldn’t believe it when it was time for the last song. So many people stayed and danced until the very end, and that was absolutely because of the amazing energy Collision Six created and carried throughout the entire night.

They didn’t just show up and play incredible music—they put so much care into the entire experience, from the planning process all the way through the final song. We felt completely supported and taken care of every step of the way.

Thank you, Collision Six, for making our night so incredibly special. We truly couldn’t have dreamed of a better band or a better experience! Now I’m just dying to see them again at another wedding!

C6 absolutely exceeded all of our wedding entertainment dreams! The band was an absolute hit with all of our guest. We continue to get so many positive remarks about how great they were. They played to the crowd and kept the party going all night long. Our vision was to have a packed dance floor all the way until the end of the night and they definitely delivered! They even learned 3 songs for us, one of which was 8 minutes long. It was incredible!!! My husband and I agree that when we look back on our wedding day, C6 is part of some of our most cherish moments of our wedding day.

Matt has a great attention to every single detail and impeccable communicate skills. He kept us on track throughout the planning process and brought new ideas to us to create a seamless night! Our night could not have been more perfect because of C6. We recommended them to everyone we know that is planning an event (selfishly because we want to see them again!)

Collision Six also provided music for our cocktail hour and dinner, and it added such a beautiful touch to every part of the evening. We added a horn section and an additional female vocalist (JaNae) for the reception – JaNae was amazing, as were the horns! We highly recommend these additions!

Our guests (many of whom traveled to Michigan for our wedding) have not stopped raving about the band and how incredible the music was at our event. We are so grateful to Collision Six for making our wedding the most special and memorable night of our lives!!

From the moment we had our intro call with Matt, we were incredibly confident that we had made the right choice with Collision Six. Throughout the entire planning process, Matt was exceptionally detailed, thoughtful, and proactive. He helped us think through questions and considerations we never would have known to ask. Collision Six’s setlist was outstanding and made choosing music for the evening incredibly easy. They also went above and beyond by learning a song they do not typically cover for our first dance, which they played phenomenally on the wedding night, as well as for our ceremony. Matt was also incredibly intentional about incorporating all of the cultural components that were important to us, which meant so much.

On the actual wedding night, they absolutely blew us away. The ceremony instrumentalists were beautiful and made the ceremony feel truly special. From the very first song, the band brought incredible energy and kept it going all night. They seamlessly facilitated speeches, prayers, and transitions and kept the entire evening flowing effortlessly. The hora was especially amazing and immediately packed the dance floor.

When dinner service ran far over schedule and we thought we were going to lose a significant chunk of dancing time, Collision Six completely saved the night by playing straight through without taking a single break. Their ability to read the room was unmatched. They knew exactly what the dance floor wanted and kept people dancing nonstop until the venue told them they had to wrap up.

I truly cannot recommend them enough. Matt is the best in the business, and Collision Six is hands down the best wedding band out there. Anyone getting married would be making an incredible decision by hiring them.

As big fans of live music, we've seen our fair share of local performers - some are great musicians, some are great performers, and some are experts at elevating the energy of a room. Collision Six is incredibly unique in the fact that they can deliver on all three fronts, and they're led by a band leader who always helps you know that you're in great hands. From Day 1, Matt was incredibly friendly, professional, and consultative in a way that allowed us to craft an experience that felt uniquely like us as a couple. His experience combined with his trust in his team speaks volumes, and it played out beautifully from tear-jerking ceremony music to a brilliant reception MC to a perfectly-tailored first dance cut and everything in between. We were consistently guided in the right direction and ended up with a night that we never wanted to end. Needless to say, we'd strongly recommend Collision Six, and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding as memorable as it was.
