Collision Six made our entire wedding reception! I am not kidding when I say they will be the best decision you make if you hire them to be part of your wedding day. Let me tell you why:

We met Matt and instantly knew we were in good hands. Like, he is so cool - you want to be friends with him, lol! Matt was our point of contact for Collision Six (and he is part of the band himself), and from day one, he immediately made us feel like our wedding was the most important thing to him. It’s rare to find and work with someone like Matt. From our initial consultations to seeing Collision Six before booking to the touch bases leading up to our wedding, Matt was incredible at communication and making every detail perfect. Communication is so essential when working with a vendor, and Matt is the best of the best. He is professional, but you can tell how much he genuinely cares about his clients. He is reassuring and confident, offers the best advice, has great vibes, and creates magic. He is top-notch - a legend!

You know your wedding is going to be special when you work with Matt and hire Collision Six. Guess what?! Our wedding was the party of our dreams! I joke about remarrying my husband so we can have them perform again, haha

Collision Six knocked it out of the park on our wedding day. All of our guests LOVED them and had the time of their lives.  I loved that Collision Six listened to the vibe my husband and I wanted to create. We wanted them to play songs that would get people of all ages (including our grandparents) engaged and out on the dance floor. Mission accomplished! Matt said that’s something he watches for as they play all night and tailor to the crowd. You can tell because it works, and the dance floor was packed the whole night.

Matt created the coolest intro for us and our bridal parties to walk into the reception, too. He mc’d the whole night and is incredible at it. They performed and played all of our first dance songs for us. And they learned my favorite song of all time and surprised me with it. It was the best night of our lives, and Collision Six was a HUGE part of why.

We booked Collision Six for our wedding and it was the best decision. Right from the start, Matt was so responsive and receptive to ideas and making it the wedding of our dreams. The day of, his coordination was amazing and he made sure we kept on our timeline. The band absolutely crushed it, every song they performed was amazing and all of the musicians were exceptional. They kept the vibe up all night so that our dance floor was never empty. All of our guests couldn't stop raving about how amazing they were. Would recommend one hundred times over.

Collision 6 was an absolutely incredible wedding band and a dream to work with from start to finish. From the very beginning of the music selection process, they were organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure the vibe matched exactly what we wanted. On the wedding day, they completely delivered—rocking out all night, reading the crowd perfectly, and playing exactly what us and our guests wanted to hear. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and their energy never dropped, even all the way through breakdown at the end of the wedding. Our wedding truly would not have been the same without them, and so many guests are still talking about how amazing the band was. Collision 6 is hands down the best wedding band in Michigan by far, and we couldn’t recommend them more.

Collision Six and Detroit Event Company are amazing to work with! They worked with our budget, and put on an amazing show! We have worked with Detroit Event Company for many years for our school/church’s largest fundraising event and plan to work with them for years to come!

Collision Six was everything we could have hoped in our band - bringing the energy from song 1 to the very last minute of our reception! We loved the variety the band is able to play - from country to rap to the classics, each one better than the last. Working with Matt specifically was fantastic. He is incredibly organized, reliable, and clear in the planning process and made our lives so much easier! We couldn’t recommend Collision Six enough, you won’t regret it!

Collision Six was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I first saw them when my sister got married. I was her maid of honor, and I remember watching the way Matt ran everything with such care and energy. That night stuck with me, and I knew I wanted that same experience for us. Our wedding felt absolutely magical, and so much of that was because of this band. They did not just show up and play music. They took the time to really get to know us (and our wedding party), what we cared about, and what would make the night feel special to us. We never felt like just another client. They made everything feel personal. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Even when my feet were killing me, I could not stop dancing. Everyone still talks about how incredible the band was. They brought the perfect mix of fun, professionalism, and warmth. I am so grateful we had them on our day. We love you guys so much!

Absolutely top notch! Matt was incredibly thorough, and executed the evening flawlessly! Our guests are still asking if that was actually Alex Warren on stage who sang our first dance. We wanted our wedding to feel like a concert, and the band exceeded our already high expectations. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end, and the sets had something all guess could enjoy. In addition, Matt and the band were incredibly flexible helping with cue points for our bridal party introductions, and my surprise Drumline. Thank you again C6, the night couldn’t have been what it was without you!

Collision Six absolutely crushed it at our wedding — we can’t recommend them enough. From the start, Matt (the band leader and owner) was amazing to work with. He took time to meet with us a year out from our wedding, walked us through every detail, and helped us think through stuff we wouldn’t have even considered. As we got closer to the day, he totally understood the kind of music we wanted — and nailed the vibe perfectly. Matt also coordinated with our vendors, kept everything running smoothly, and just brought this calm, pro energy that made the whole day easier. It honestly felt like having another planner on our side. On top of that, the band sounded unreal live. Tight, energetic, fun — just a blast to listen to and dance to. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding band they’d ever seen. Matt’s not just the band leader — he really facilitates the whole night, and his entire team was incredible. They made the music feel super personal and turned our wedding into something we’ll never forget. Can’t say this enough: if you’re thinking about working with Collision Six or Detroit Event Company, do it. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them.
