TRACIE’S DISAPPOINTING WEDDING DAY STORY

“I was THAT bride, a giant worry stress-ball! I remember my own wedding just like it was yesterday but it was over 27 years ago! I was bursting with excitement to arrive at my reception to see everything I had been selecting for months finally come together. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that my wedding cake was not exactly as I envisioned. I had paid extra to have tulle and lights under the cake to make it appear as it was floating on a cloud but that did NOT happen! My heart sank when I saw that my cake wasn’t set up as discussed at the final meeting with the baker as promised. There were a few other issues that could have been fixed before the reception started and during that I had to deal with. Trust me these issues were NOT what I wanted to be dealing with on my special day. I didn’t want to worry about anything on the day that I had been dreaming about for so long. I just wanted to eat, drink, party and dance with my family and friends but instead I had to take time away from just relaxing and being in the moment to handle issues adding unnecessary stress.
