Working with Sam from Wholehearted Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first call - through all my wild ideas and occasional panicked emails - Sam brought such a calm, reassuring energy to every step of the process.
Every detail, from the timeline to vendor coordination, was handled so we could truly enjoy our day without a single worry. On the wedding day, I didn’t have to lift a finger. At one point, I texted Sam about a small mark on my dress, and within a minute she appeared with a box full of tools and tricks to fix it. Any time I had a question or concern, she either had an immediate solution or confidently told me not to think twice - she had it covered.
One of my favorite moments came at the end of the night when she told us to just go have fun at our after-party. When we returned to our hotel later, all our personal items and decor had been neatly organized in our room, like magic. Because of that, we were able to enjoy a relaxed breakfast with our families the next morning instead of rushing to pack up.
We can’t recommend Sam enough - if you’re looking for someone who will treat your wedding like their own, this is who you want by your side.

I cannot say enough about Sam - she really was the glue to our day being so stress-free and smooth. You can tell she really cares about the couples she works with and made everything feel personal (versus just another wedding). She included little touches like celebrating our 6 month out date and helped us coordinate all the small details a few months out. On the day of, she ran the day and seamlessly. She pivoted to ensure everything flowed when we had rain during our family photo & cocktail hour, moved dinner up to ensure folks weren't sitting too long and likely made more calls that I'm not even aware of to ensure everything was perfect. Her direction for rehearsal and even things like the grand entrance was so appreciated, we never had to worry because we knew we were in good hands. My husband and family still talk about how awesome Sam was, and as an event professional myself, I can honestly say she was one of our best hires. She was just on top of it and always so calm. I am so grateful to have her be part of our day and would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about hiring her. Thanks Sam!!

We cannot recommend Sam strongly enough for wedding services. She was completely on top of making sure everything on our big day was running like clockwork so we could enjoy the wedding of our dreams. We didn’t have to worry about taking time away from our guests to interface with any vendor. She even went so far as to make several excellent suggestions for tweaks to our ceremony during the rehearsal. She is a wonderful person and any couple would be lucky to hire her for their special day

We are SO grateful we hired Sam and Wholehearted Events to coordinate our wedding. Sam was absolutely phenomenal to work with. Sam is so organized and detail-orientated, from our first call with her I was put at ease by how intently she listened to our plans and vision for our wedding. Her spreadsheet she used to organize our day made my "type-A" heart so happy! Beyond her genuine listening and care, Sam is so calm and genuine. She brings both a warmth and a great depth of knowledge that helped our wedding day run smoothly. All of our family and bridal party were in awe of how amazing she was!

As a very organized and detail-orientated person myself, I was hesitant to hire a day-of-coordinator. Since I plan events professionally at work, I didn't know if the coordinator would truly be necessary. I am SO beyond glad we did hire Sam. So many little things popped up throughout the day that Sam seamlessly took care of. It was so great working with Samantha and her assistant Emma from Wholehearted Events! We hired Samantha as a day-of-coordinator to help us out during the last month or so of wedding planning as well as the day of our wedding and it was 1000% worth it! I truly believe we didn't have any issues on our wedding day due to Samantha taking care of everything and being so organized! She helped with contacting vendors the week of our wedding, setting up all of our decor, helping us build a wedding timeline, and so much more! Sam was an incredible help for our wedding, and really set our minds at ease with her day of coordination services. She has a calm and capable presence that I'd recommend to anyone. We had a backyard wedding with a lot of vendors to juggle and she did an incredible job advocating for our wants while smoothly handling many logistics to get them all in place. She was able to get our chaotic family in order for the rehearsal too- not an easy feat. Hire her! You won't regret it!

Sam was the perfect choice for our day-of wedding coordinator! She was flexible in meeting with us early on and communicated very well with us throughout the process. She was organized and thorough with the details of our wedding, transparent with her thoughts and expectations, which allowed us to relax and have full trust that our wedding day would go smoothly. She went above and beyond and had every piece of our decor set up exactly how we envisioned them- and we asked her to use her creative directive to help improve anything during the set up (such as our head table décor, which turned out better than I could have imagined!)

Samantha worked with us through the months leading up to the wedding, checking in occasionally, but really kicking it into high gear the month of. She verified all of the details with our vendors, identifying a couple of line items that needed to be changed with our florist (like, that the flowers needed to be delivered to the ceremony as well as the reception!), coordinating with our venue to get all of the liability agreements from vendors, determining the timeline of the day, and working with us to nail down logistics for decoration delivery and setup.

She was great working with all of the vendor coordinators and established herself as the key point of contact.

Once the ceremony started, the rest of the day was a cakewalk. Samantha made sure we were where we needed to be, when we needed to be, and also coordinated the setup of the reception venue – a task which she had only an hour and a half to setup 25 guest tables, a head table, sweetheart table, and other decorations. During the reception, we realized that there was no good bouquet to toss – Samantha quickly reworked a generic bouquet of flowers we had from the store into a smaller bouquet that was suitable to toss. She also worked with the driver of our limo to locate a cufflink that the groom had lost – the cufflink was found and safely returned in the mail.

If you are getting married and are able to book Wholehearted Events, do it. Samantha was excellent in gently steering us away from risky decisions during planning and was absolutely key in pulling off our vision, removing all of the stress from us on the day of our wedding, enabling us to focus on the important thing – each other.

Samantha was the best decision I made for my wedding. She was so beyond helpful, calm, organized and just so kind. I promise if you think you don’t need a day of coordinator, you do. It was the best with all of the craziness of the day knowing that there was one person who would handle the MOUNTAIN of details. Samantha was truly the best you won’t regret it 🥰

We hired Samantha as our Day of Coordinator but she was so much more than that! From our first phone call, Samantha had the best energy and I knew she was going to be a great fit. She is very organized, attentive and cares so much to give you the best experience. I felt very little stress through out the process mainly because of Samantha and the timeline she gave me and check ins we had.
