it is very easy to find an event planner that is creative and dedicated, however, it is very hard to find one that is both of those things in addition to also being emotionally connected to their clients. Dalia Atisha treated me like family, she cared about everything as if it was her own family member's wedding. She took action and guidance, and always remained patient with me when I was not doing my best at communicating. Go with Dalia if you want a caring and comforting person who will put you first.

We booked Stephanie at Mitten Weddings for our June 2025 wedding and would do it again in a heartbeat! We booked the 30 day wedding planner and day of coordinator packages with late night tear down. It was absolutely money well spent, and I can’t imagine not having Stephanie’s throughout it all! She is friendly, hardworking, professional, and well connected in the wedding industry. She found us one of our favorite vendors (Scripted Rose Florals) and was there to direct everyone and hype us up on the big day - see photo :) We truly have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Stephanie and the whole team and don’t know what we would’ve done without her! If you’re thinking about booking Mitten Weddings, this is your sign to do it, you’ll thank yourself later!

We hired Christina for "day-of" coordination, though her planning and expertise went far beyond the day of our wedding! Long before her "day-of' services started, she was a great resource to have, providing a lot of insight via email to the questions I had during the wedding planning process. Two months before our big day, we had a great phone conversation to decide a lot of smaller details, and she totally put my mind at ease. Her Google Drive documents made it really easy for me to stay organized on my own, and she seamlessly filled in the blanks for anything I was unsure about. It was so much fun having her around at our rehearsal and wedding day! She has such a laid-back, fun and sweet personality, and she got to know us, our wedding party and families over the course of the weekend. My bridesmaids kept saying how amazing it was to have her around! Not only to keep everything working smoothly (which, it totally did; if anything went wrong, I didn't even hear about it), but also as a positive and friendly face, making sure we were totally happy the whole time and that all needs were met. We are so grateful for all her hard work, definitely recommend!

We worked with Debbie and her team from Beyond Eventful for our Wedding Weekend. From our Welcome Party at the Hotel Earl to our Sunday breakfast Brunch everything was perfect. I found Debbie to go above and beyond our expectations in every way. She was prompt and professional and always available to answer questions or guide us. Our parents loved her as much as we did and look forward to seeing her again when we are in Petoskey. Trust us when I say you can't find someone that knows or cares more for their couples than Debbie and Ford. Truly the best.

I was referred to Jeannine by a family friend and hired her as the day of coordinator for my daughter’s wedding. It was wonderful having her on our team of vendors as she effortlessly took care of many of the day of activities (checking in with the other vendors, setting-up, sticking to the timeline, troubleshooting, packing up personal items, etc.), allowing me to just be present and enjoy the festivities. I remained in my Zen place because I knew she was there and would take care of any and everything. I highly recommend at the very least hiring a day of coordinator.

Booking Adell Wymer’s partial wedding planning and day of coordinating services was the best decision my husband and I could’ve ever made. Her prices are reasonable, and ensured us that we can have the wedding of our dreams without blowing the bank( even though we did go a bit over budget by choice LOL). Adell had multiple meetings set up and always made herself available to us. Working a full time job and planning a wedding was the most difficult, time consuming thing, and Adell took so much pressure off by referring the right vendors and providing advice along the way. Plus it ensured my parents and my in laws could enjoy the day to the fullest without stressing about anything! The day of the wedding was nothing short of perfect. There were bumps in the road I wasn’t even aware of, she handled them quickly and quietly so my husband and I could enjoy our special day. She even ran out last minute to buy red bull as a drink mixer for family members!! She was by my side every step of the way and kept my anxieties calm. Booking her was the best decision of my entire wedding, and I would recommend her highly to anybody! We love you Adell!

Working with Sam from Wholehearted Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first call - through all my wild ideas and occasional panicked emails - Sam brought such a calm, reassuring energy to every step of the process. Every detail, from the timeline to vendor coordination, was handled so we could truly enjoy our day without a single worry. On the wedding day, I didn’t have to lift a finger. At one point, I texted Sam about a small mark on my dress, and within a minute she appeared with a box full of tools and tricks to fix it. Any time I had a question or concern, she either had an immediate solution or confidently told me not to think twice - she had it covered. One of my favorite moments came at the end of the night when she told us to just go have fun at our after-party. When we returned to our hotel later, all our personal items and decor had been neatly organized in our room, like magic. Because of that, we were able to enjoy a relaxed breakfast with our families the next morning instead of rushing to pack up. We can’t recommend Sam enough - if you’re looking for someone who will treat your wedding like their own, this is who you want by your side.
