Best wedding band ever- you cannot go wrong. I chose BWK after hearing them play at a couple friends' weddings- me and my now husband realized that our favorite 3 weddings we had been to together had one thing in common: Bluewater Kings Band. Booking them was an easy process and then pretty hands off until closer to the actual date, which was really nice because you have so many things to think about in the interim. I was nervous about the phone call with Shai a couple of weeks out, because I felt really behind when it came to music and selections, but Shai made me feel totally at ease and jotted down notes of my vague likes and dislikes and reassured me she would take it from there. As I made important dance song selections, she was really easy to email with and I even asked if they could cut out the middle of a song for me and splice it together for my DJed first dance song and they made it happen. Bluewater Kings made our wedding what it was and it was pretty perfect. From the beginning by playing some music as guests walked in to find their seat, the MCing, Djing our first dance songs, to each and every song choice on the dance floor: they just nail it and set the tone for your event. They bring the energy and it is impossible for your guests to not be up dancing. They listened to our likes and dislikes and performed a better set list than I could have ever come up with myself. The icing on the cake was when they played a Taylor Swift song from her new album that I told them I liked as an idea for my "vibe", never expecting to hear it played by my wedding band just 1 month after its release, but it just shows you how they pay attention to things and want to make your night special for you. They customize every wedding for the bride and groom and their personal music preferences and tie it together with their expertise in what gets people up and moving. At the end of the night, I was on stage with my new husband and all the band members singing my heart out. Bluewater Kings Band is EVERYTHING and more. What an incredible band! From start to finish, my husband and I felt completely taken care of. Our journey began with an amazing introductory call with Molly, who was kind, knowledgeable, and helped us make the best choices based on our vision and budget.
Molly guided us seamlessly through the months leading up to the wedding, and on the big day her team was absolutely fantastic. Bob, the sound engineer, was gracious and skilled—our venue had a tricky setup, but he mixed everything perfectly. Guests could enjoy comfortable conversations during dinner with background music and then fully experience the live band without feeling overwhelmed.
As a singer, I even got to join the band for a surprise song! They were so welcoming and made the moment unforgettable. A month later, we’re still getting compliments about the incredible musicians. They’re budget-friendly, professional, and truly elevate any wedding.

Okay, no joke, this is just a sampling of the incredible feedback we got during and after our wedding this past November. From start to finish working with our producer (Jessica) was a breeze. The logistics were handled seamlessly by their technicians - who were also kind enough to let us use their speakers for a portion of our reception.

And then there's the band.

Un. believe. able.

We actually cut back on our catering budget in order to ensure we could have the full 9 piece experience and we are so glad we did. The horns added SO MUCH but even without that you would have been blown away. The pure musicianship and vocal talent on display was incredible. We especially loved Lauren (apologies if I misspelled your name, Lauren!) who was this tiny powerhouse that lit the whole room on fire with her vocals.

They took all our requests that we made in the lead-up and they learned a few custom songs just for us and knocked them out of the park. Plus they were honest - there was one song we really wanted which featured a ton of electronic sounds and they cautioned us that it might not sound great - and I really appreciated that candor.

Listen, cut the catering budget - wedding food can either be familiar or forgettable - so go with Chipotle and book this band - you won't regret it.

We hired the Blue Water Kings Band for our wedding and they absolutely crushed it. They were genuinely having fun on stage, which our 200 guests all felt.
