We were lucky enough to see the Bluewater Kings Band during one of their showcases which helped us solidify our choice to use them. The day of our wedding, they were absolutely fantastic. We started off with a string quartet for the ceremony, followed by a jazz trio for our cocktail hour, and had the 9 piece band for the reception. They absolutely blew the house down! They wowed the crowd and kept the energy going all night. We keep getting comments from our friends and family about how amazing they were!
They did an especially good job listening to how people responded to what they were playing and making adjustments on the fly. Highly recommend them! -

My husband and I hired Bluewater Kings Band for our wedding. From the planning process to the day-of performances, everything was incredible. There was a string trio for the ceremony, a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and a 7-piece band plus DJ for our reception. Corbin, our producer, provided exceptional expertise and was an invaluable resource in making sure every detail for each performance was accounted for. He worked closely with our venue to ensure all tech and equipment needs were met.
All band members we interacted with during our wedding were so kind and cordial. They were prompt in arriving to the venue for sound check and were quick and professional with setting up/loading out. The reception performances were fantastic. There were guests on the dance floor from start to the very last song. Switching between live sets and the DJ was seamless. Announcements made by the emcee were clear and non-disruptive. There was a lot of fun interaction between the performers, specifically the singers and the guests. All of our guests have been raving -- even weeks later --- about how AWESOME the band was. The ceremony performances were beautiful! I so appreciate the string trio for their talent and care in playing the specific songs for the wedding processional and my bridal entrance. The cocktail hour music really livened the atmosphere and set up the fun for the night ahead.
We heard great things about Bluewater Kings Band, and they did not disappoint! Thank you to Corbin and all of the immensely talented musicians for making our wedding so much fun and memorable. -

From the day we signed our contract, Owen and his team have been friendly and easy to work with. They even helped us secure a videographer less than a month before our wedding! On our wedding day, they were easy to work with and super flexible (given we ran into some weather-related issues). They kept our guests happy and dancing all night long! We couldn't imagine our wedding day without Bluewater Kings Band! -

The Bluewater Kings were worth every penny and more! Jacy our INCREDIBLE female vocalist, Todd our ceremony Sound Master, Tom our trumpeter, and the whole band made our wedding absolutely unforgettable! Ryan the band manager was super communicative from the moment we booked. He made sure all the prep work was done well in advance to understand special song requests, the order of events, vibe desired for the night, etc.
We leaned more into classic r&b, soul, with some 'get up and dance' rock and pop variety later in the night. Our guests could NOT stop dancing. Compliments were coming to me all night about the band and I even got a few "best wedding ever!" remarks.
They couldn't have done better. All of our guests were blown away by Jacy's vocals, especially on "As Time Goes By" which we ended the night on.
We loved every second of dancing to their performance.
The ceremony was perfect and everything we ever dreamed of (and more!) We had the wedding of our dreams and are still reeling from it. We got married in Siren Wisconsin and the band made the 2 hour trip from the twin cities without charging me for hotel rooms for the night, which I also really appreciated on our budget.
Thanks to Bluewater Kings it was the party of a lifetime!

Bluewater Kings is a fabulous band. Truly easy and wonderful to work with! We got the 8 piece band and it was perfect for us. Not only that, we had a full dance floor the whole night. Shai is THE MOST TALENTED SINGER EVER. We have a few family and friends in music and they all came up to us during the reception to tell us how fab the band was doing. We're still getting messages about how great the band was! The only part that's tough is that you aren't able to select which members will play in your band, but my guess is that all of their musicians are incredibly talented. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bluewater Kings -

The BEST band!
I attended a wedding 7 years ago and the band that the couple hired to play at their reception was unforgettable. They were so amazing that I made sure to ask the couple who they were, and jotted it down in my notes in hopes that one day when I got married I could hire them. Fast forward to 7 years later, my fiancé and I did just that. Blue Water Kings is a timeless, fun, and TALENTED band. The options to customize band size, music, and add ons are endless. We did the string trio for our ceremony, 7 piece band for the reception, and had a band member MC the night. What made the experience so special was that my now husband and I were able to choose pretty much every song that was performed. From the live music to the playlist for in between sets, Shai provided multiple song lists to choose from and gave us free range for our special playlist. The band even learned a song we requested that wasn’t on the list! BWK made us feel so special. All night guests kept saying how much they loved the band, and I’m still getting sweet messages to this day about them. If you want EVERYONE at your wedding to have the best time, dancers or not, you have to book Blue Water Kings. There is a package to fit every need. Shay was amazing at communicating with us up until the very day. She answered all my questions timely and helped us when we needed it! Thanks BWK for making our day the best. Much love.

I would highly recommend using Bluewater Kings Band for your wedding if you want a full & lively dance floor, high energy, and an unforgettable night. They’re amazing & talented musicians.
I worked with Corbin and was very impressed by his responsive communication, and his ability to accommodate & do whatever was requested. He was very attentive and nailed every planning detail flawlessly (and I gave a lot of specificity 🤣). Corbin not only made the day/night of our wedding amazing but offered helpful insight on the whole planning process. Everything was SO well organized in the months leading up to the party due to their online planning platform.
All of our guests raved about and were blown away by the band. My dad already has stated that he wants to hire the band for their 40th wedding anniversary party.
I couldn't have hoped for a better performance on our wedding night. You will not be disappointed by choosing this band. -

5 Stars Don't Do Justice!
The entire Bluewater Kings Band was absolutely excellent for our wedding night. We had a very energetic and diverse crowd and had the 6-piece band performing, and they really knocked it out of the park for us. All of our guests, from the older crowd to the younger generations, really enjoyed the song choices that the band had picked out and they did a great job keeping the whole crowd out on the dance floor the entire night. They really set the tone for a fun, upbeat and highly energetic reception and our crowd definitely fed off of it. Not to mention their performances of each song were fabulous and we often had to check if they were playing live or pre-recorded music because they sounded so good! They surpassed all of our expectations for our wedding night and did so within a very reasonable budget, and we will be highly recommending them to all of our family and friends in need of live entertainment as we cannot wait for the next event with Bluewater Kings playing! -

Bluewater Kings were AWESOME! Everything leading up to our wedding, and especially our wedding day, was absolutely amazing. Bluewater Kings kept our dance floor alive!! They can read the crowd and know just how to keep a party going. Cannot recommend them enough! -

We had always talked about a live band, but we were so on the fence because we assumed it was out of budget for us. After seeing Bluewater Kings at a wedding in Chicago and a wedding in Cincinnati....we realized this group was top-notch with a variety of talented people in their ranks. After reviewing their website and very easy-to-find pricing, we were so excited to work with them! Their a la carte options for sound and microphones were also so great.
Literally everyone at our wedding raved about our band, and I'm so happy we got the chance to work for them on our perfect day. Our coordinator/POC was stellar at keeping tabs on questions and helping us shape our perfect plan for the day, even when we had to scale back due to life changes.
If you are on the fence about a band, get a ticket to see them live and you will book them shortly after. Not to mention the performers were simply, down-to-earth kind souls with skills to make people move. Thank you so much, y'all!!
