Collision Six made our entire wedding reception! I am not kidding when I say they will be the best decision you make if you hire them to be part of your wedding day. Let me tell you why:
We met Matt and instantly knew we were in good hands. Like, he is so cool - you want to be friends with him, lol! Matt was our point of contact for Collision Six (and he is part of the band himself), and from day one, he immediately made us feel like our wedding was the most important thing to him. It’s rare to find and work with someone like Matt. From our initial consultations to seeing Collision Six before booking to the touch bases leading up to our wedding, Matt was incredible at communication and making every detail perfect. Communication is so essential when working with a vendor, and Matt is the best of the best. He is professional, but you can tell how much he genuinely cares about his clients. He is reassuring and confident, offers the best advice, has great vibes, and creates magic. He is top-notch - a legend!
You know your wedding is going to be special when you work with Matt and hire Collision Six. Guess what?! Our wedding was the party of our dreams! I joke about remarrying my husband so we can have them perform again, haha
Collision Six knocked it out of the park on our wedding day. All of our guests LOVED them and had the time of their lives. I loved that Collision Six listened to the vibe my husband and I wanted to create. We wanted them to play songs that would get people of all ages (including our grandparents) engaged and out on the dance floor. Mission accomplished! Matt said that’s something he watches for as they play all night and tailor to the crowd. You can tell because it works, and the dance floor was packed the whole night.
Matt created the coolest intro for us and our bridal parties to walk into the reception, too. He mc’d the whole night and is incredible at it. They performed and played all of our first dance songs for us. And they learned my favorite song of all time and surprised me with it. It was the best night of our lives, and Collision Six was a HUGE part of why.
Thank you, Collision Six, for making our wedding night unforgettable. Their talent, professionalism, and kindness are unmatched. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to work with them, but they made it pretty dang easy. 🤍 If you hire them for your wedding - can I come?! (Just kidding, but not really). -

We booked Collision Six for our wedding and it was the best decision. Right from the start, Matt was so responsive and receptive to ideas and making it the wedding of our dreams. The day of, his coordination was amazing and he made sure we kept on our timeline. The band absolutely crushed it, every song they performed was amazing and all of the musicians were exceptional. They kept the vibe up all night so that our dance floor was never empty. All of our guests couldn't stop raving about how amazing they were. Would recommend one hundred times over. -

Look no further
Absolutely top notch! Matt was incredibly thorough, and executed the evening flawlessly! Our guests are still asking if that was actually Alex Warren on stage who sang our first dance. We wanted our wedding to feel like a concert, and the band exceeded our already high expectations. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end, and the sets had something all guess could enjoy. In addition, Matt and the band were incredibly flexible helping with cue points for our bridal party introductions, and my surprise Drumline. Thank you again C6, the night couldn’t have been what it was without you! -

Best decision ever!
Collision Six was the absolute best decision we could have made for our wedding band.
From our very first conversation, Matt was communicative, engaged, and genuinely interested in getting to know us - not just our music preferences, but how we envisioned the entire night unfolding. The planning process was thorough and well thought out, and Matt's follow-through was remarkable. He checked in consistently throughout the entire process, even sending us an email on our "-1" wedding anniversary when we were exactly a year out from the date. His organization skills and attention to detail are out of this world.
The day of, the band brought an energy that turned our reception into the BEST concert we've ever been to. Every single member seemed to be having the time of their life up there, and that joy was absolutely contagious. They never lost steam, kept every guest engaged, and created this incredible atmosphere of pure fun all night long. These people genuinely love what they do, and it shows.
Matt also moved the evening along seamlessly, handling introductions, kicking off our first dance, and even helping us host a special raffle that got all of our guests involved.
I don't have a single bad thing to say. The band was truly incredible, and everything beyond the music - the attention, the support, the care Matt brought from the day we reached out to the moment we said goodnight - made the experience even better. We couldn't recommend Collision Six more highly. We hope we get invited to another wedding where Collision Six is playing because we couldn't get enough!! -

BEST Wedding Band of All Time (told by multiple guests)
I can’t begin to explain how amazing Matt and the band are. From the very beginning, Matt made the process extremely streamlined, organized, and easy. The night of our wedding, he was an excellent MC and the band as a whole was stellar. The dance floor stayed full all night with multiple people coming up to us telling us this was “the best band at a wedding ever.” And they truly were. Their energy and performance was like being at a concert. Oh and my husband and I crowd-surfed (face down too which is wild)!!! Was not on my bingo card, but when in Rome!! Thank you guys for truly making it the best night of our lives. -

Collision 6 went above and beyond to make our wedding reception unforgettable! The entire band has such professionalism and talent. Our dance floor was packed all night long and the range of music they played was perfect for our large wedding that had guests of all different generations and music styles. Throughout the entire planning process, Matt was organized, sincere, professional, and kind. He really cares about tailoring your event to what you want it to look, sound, and feel like. We really appreciated his advice and guidance in a time when we had to make lots of decisions. He also MC'ed the event and kept everything running on time to the minute - this was a huge plus for us! We trusted him to make sure every element from our grand entrance, to our special dances, to our closing song felt timely and right. They are the best at what they do - you will not regret booking them for your event! -

Unusual Wedding
We had a very unusual wedding. Covid made us cancel our planned March 22, 2020 wedding. While we ended up going ahead a small backyard affair a few months later, we knew we wanted to do the big communal celebration we had originally planned when the time was right. Well, five years and two kids later, the time felt right.
We had booked Collision Six to play our cancelled wedding in 2020. That they played our wedding in 2025 was magical in two ways. First, they honored the payment we had made in 2020 and made it incredibly easy to roll our initial plan into our new wedding date. Second, they (metaphorically) blew the roof off the venue. My wife and I both come from musical families (e.g., our relatives played a klezmer set during the cocktail hour) and let me tell you, these guys are TALENTED.
To sum it up: if you can book Collision Six, you really need to. They are kind, amazing to work with, and incredible performers. -

Collision 6 absolutely crushed it from start to finish! We cannot say enough about how incredible it was to work with Matt. He was such a calming and thoughtful presence throughout the whole planning process. He provided great guidance, responsiveness and optionality for everything from the wedding schedule to song choices, which gave us great confidence and made it all so seamless. Nothing was cookie cutter and it made everything truly unique and special. On the day itself, C6 brought the perfect mix of energy and fun. They kept the dance floor packed all night long, and we loved the cadence of the set list. One of the highlights of the night was a preplanned jam session with my grandmother. We are very appreciative of C6 going along with our crazy idea and making it a major highlight of the night. We are beyond grateful for Matt's expertise and the C6 band's energy. They absolutely delivered! -

When we think about our wedding, we think of two things: first, our vows, second, Collision 6. WOW WOW WOW. Collision 6 was out of this WORLD. The talent this group has… unreal. Our wedding would have been nowhere near what it was if we went any other route. We upgraded to C6’s horn section and hired an additional singer (s/o to Janae!) and I just have no words to describe how just absolutely insane this band is. Every song they played was just SO. GOOD. EVERYONE was on the dance floor the entire night (seriously… we had to kick 95% of our guest list out at the end of the night) it was INSANE.
Our family and friends truly will not stop talking about C6 and it still is the number one thing people are still saying to us after our wedding on how insane they were. We will never be able to dance at another wedding now (let alone listen to a DJ at a wedding!) C6 was the best decision we made for our wedding, hands down. My one and only regret at our wedding was not having them play longer!

Now, onto the band’s manager, Matt: The most incredible, kind, organized vendor we got to work with. Not only was Matt super thoughtful during the planning process, but Matt genuinely wanted us to have the best day ever. He is incredibly thorough and made the entire process of hiring and working with a wedding band and a string orchestra SO EASY. As a super Type A crazy woman, I was truly impressed with Matt, he is SO ORGANIZED! Even more, Matt offered so many solutions and ideas tailored to our venue (what vendor does that?!) and we just cannot thank him enough for all that he did for us. He truly was a main player on our vendor team and a main reason as to how we pulled off the absolute best wedding EVER. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MATT!

We had Collision Six for our wedding reception and we could not be happier with the experience! Matt was so thoughtful, professional, and thorough in the preparation and planning phase. He walked us through everything (we didn't even know where to start), answered our questions, and bounced ideas off us in multiple video conference meetings ahead of the event when we needed help and direction. He also coordinated with the venue staff ahead of time to make sure they were all on the same page. When it came to the wedding day, they did their own thing for arrival and setup with no issues at all. They were able to set all their equipment and run a sound check in only an hour of stage availability time before the dinner service began in the main room. Matt was a great emcee for the night and did not miss a beat. When it came time for the music in the wedding reception - they wowed everyone in attendance. They crushed it! It was like a full blown concert for our reception, which is exactly what we wanted! They got everyone moving, dancing, and singing on the dance floor. It was an exciting, fun, party of a night cap to our perfect wedding day. We will look so fondly back on our wedding day with big smiles on our faces, and it would not have been anywhere near the same without Collision Six. We are not alone in this thought, seemingly everyone we've seen since the wedding talks about how great the band was and how much the party on the dance floor was rocking! The venue staff pulled us aside and told us that they do weddings with live bands almost every weekend, and this by far was the best band they've ever seen in their venue. We could not recommend them enough for your wedding; it completed ours!

I’m a music teacher and performer who comes from a lineage of musicians. My wife and I heard about Collision Six from their stellar performance at the NFL Draft in Detroit, and later celebrated our wedding with them in the summer. Naturally, the family bands and I wanted to join C6 on stage to play a few songs at the reception. Matt and the rest of Collision Six went through great lengths to ensure everything was perfect.
They maintained thorough rapport with us, learned specific song arrangements in rapid time, and even took the time to meet with the family bands for rehearsal before the big day. At the eleventh hour, a wide array of vocalists, instruments, and audio outfits were cycled through C6’s mixing board. In spite of the tall order, their audio engineering skills were fluid and impeccably adept and the entire night was an unforgettable hit.
Matt is an incredibly patient band leader with a keen attention to detail, and the members of Collision Six maintain a state-of-the-art standard for performances and private events. I cannot recommend a better group, nor sing their praises highly enough. -

Collision Six absolutely killed it on our wedding night. The entire process working with Matt was first class. From the initial meeting getting to know each other all the way up to the wedding night, it was clear that Matt’s primary focus was to have a collaborative process culminating in a night to remember. Matt was meticulous with all the details leading up to the big day and truly made it stress free for us. Most importantly though, the band is incredible. When we wanted our first dance to be to a Greta Van Fleet song, we assumed they would just play a downloaded track. But instead, the band learned the song and Sarah’s vocal performance was spectacular. The dance floor was packed all night, especially during the last hour when they rocked the house with 2000s punk rock hits (our favorite). What an amazing band! We had Collision Six play our wedding this past Memorial Day weekend in Detroit! From the very beginning, Matt and his team were easy to work with and enthusiastic for us throughout the entire process. For the wedding day, they handled everything behind the scenes (setup, coordination with the venue and photographer, creating and learning our special songs, etc.) to emceeing and creating an unforgettable live music experience. We truly were able to enjoy the day and take in all the special moments with our loved ones.
We spent a lot of time getting to know Matt throughout the process. He made sure we were creating the wedding celebration we wanted and was always willing to collaborate with us on our ideas. For example, we decided to have live piano for our ceremony music and ended up selecting some pretty unique songs. When we pitched them to Collision Six, they had no problem learning them for us and played them perfectly! It made for a beautiful ceremony!
Matt and team created fun playlists for our cocktail hour and dinner music, with Matt emceeing throughout the night. They followed up with the most amazing 3 hours of live music that kept our dance floor packed all night long. They played a wide variety of songs that kept all our guests (from ages 2 to 91!) a part of the celebration.
Their talent for music speaks for itself and is elevated by their ability to execute our event to perfection.
There is nothing like live music. It truly made for an unforgettable night, not only for us but also for our friends and family! If you’re looking for a band to play your wedding, we cannot recommend Collision Six enough!

Collision Six and Detroit Event Company did an outstanding job performing at our wedding, but what really sets them apart was their professionalism, communication/organization skills, and enthusiasm every step of the way. Matt is direct and goes out of his way to make sure you know exactly what to expect and never leaves you hanging, unlike many vendors in the creative / entertaining space. He was very intentional and enthusiastic in getting to know us so that he could ensure we got exactly what we wanted... and we did!
They did live music at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and the dance floor was packed until the venue kicked us out! We loved that they learned our first dance songs and even provided some lists of suggestions, which was very much appreciated, since making so many decisions with wedding planning can be overwhelming.
They performed at the NFL draft in April, which made us extra excited to have them play live at our wedding!
Overall, you can expect 10/10 performance AND service/professionalism throughout the whole process when you work with Matt and Collision Six. Since Matt also manages other bands in the area, he can help you find something to work with your budget and taste, even if Collision Six is booked or out of your price range. -

WOW. I struggle to find the words to describe how incredible Collision Six is. Leading up to our wedding, Matt was extremely professional, organized, and positive. He knows how to ask the right questions to understand what the couple/client wants for their event, and boy do they deliver! Collision Six kept our guests on the dance floor all night. They are so talented and really know how to read a crowd when choosing songs. They also played during our cocktail hour which was so classy and lovely, and the set up professional lighting scaffolds on the dance floor which really elevates the space and makes it feel like a concert. HIRE COLLISION SIX FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! From the moment we signed our contract, they were readily available to answer any of our questions and they truly held our hands through the entire wedding planning process. Not only did they function as a band, but Matt essentially functioned as a second wedding coordinator and was absolutely fantastic to work with. We had multiple in person meetings where he not only went into specifics about music/lighting/stage, but he also set up our entire wedding day timeline. On the day of the wedding he made sure that we knew exactly where we were going, what was coming next, and that the entire wedding ran on time. AND LET'S TALK ABOUT THE MUSIC AND ENERGY that they brought! They really read the room and played a perfect mix of oldies, classics, top hits, and slow songs. There wasn't a moment where our dance floor wasn't PACKED. My family and friends cannot stop complimenting the band and how it was the best wedding music they've ever heard. Amazing music, stellar dance moves - just an all around phenomenal performance!! We keep replaying all of the videos we have, singing and dancing, surrounded by all our family and friends! Collision Six literally made our wedding day the best day of our lives! We are already looking into their upcoming public performances so my entire family can go watch them perform again, and I'm trying to convince my husband to hire them every year for our anniversary. When we first started wedding planning, I told my husband that one of my deal breakers was having a live band. We found Collision Six throught my cousin who had them play at her wedding, however, we were unable to attend due to COVID restrictions at the time. When we first met with Matt, we knew we would be taken care of. The process he has designed and laid out in choosing a band was very clear and easy to follow. Matt also offered his advice when we were torn between two venues which I was very much appreciative of. Matt was always available via email even though his schedule was probably just as busy as ours. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect and we are still getting compliments from our family and friends to this day! -

I will admit that I was nervous about paying up for Collision Six's prices, as it was easily the most expensive part of our wedding outside of the venue itself. Not only did they make the night incredible, but they were AMAZING to work with and talk to. It was very much a group of people who seemed to love what they do. Matt and the team did everything they could to make every part of our day special and easy. We asked all of the right questions and was basically responsible for moving the day along. I could not say enough great things about them, please book them for your event! -

Best wedding band
Collision Six performed at our wedding Sept. 23, 2022. They were very professional and organized throughout the wedding planning process and on our wedding day. Matt worked with us to tailor the song selections and really spent time getting to know us prior to the wedding. Their performance was also amazing! Our guests had a great time and the dance floor was packed!
We felt at ease knowing that the band was the one thing we really didn’t have to worry about on the day of our wedding. They were so thorough and communicated every last detail. They really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went as smooth as possible….and it did! Thank you! -

Having a band at our wedding was something my fiance always wanted but we knew we couldn't have just anyone. We had seen collision six perform at a venue previously and absolutely loved them so when we found out they were available for our day we jumped on it! They aren't only amazing performers they are amazing people from top to bottom! Matt especially ensured our day ran smooth and really took the time to get to know us and answer all of our questions. Leading up to the day I felt so good because I knew everything would be taken care of. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved our band and it was obvious because people did not leave the dance floor! It truly felt like we were enjoying a high quality concert that fit our music tastes exactly. I could go on and on. They are incredible and more than worth it! So grateful we got to have them! -

There are not enough positive things I can say about Matt and his team at Collision Six. My husband and I wanted to have a wedding reception that was memorable, filled with laughter, dancing, and love. Matt and his team were able to provide all of that and more. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone kept sharing that this was the best band they have ever heard! They even learned new songs as a group for our first dances and for the live music during our ceremony.
Throughout the entire planning process, Matt was incredibly professional. He listened to our vision and requests and delivered on anything we asked. Matt was critical to keeping our reception on time so we could have as much time as possible on the dance floor with our friends and family. As a bride that cared a lot about staying on time and little details, this helped me relax and enjoy the night.
I would recommend having Matt and Collision Six as your wedding band to anyone that asked, you will not regret it! -

C6 is a MUST for your wedding
From start to finish, it was a seamless process with C6 and their performance and energy were a critical element in making our day perfect. We felt like we were in amazing hands with Matt and trusted him completely, always leaving our calls feeling super excited. Everything on the wedding day itself was super smooth and exactly how we hoped it to be, from the ceremony music and hora to the dance sets. The band was absolutely OUTSTANDING and everyone was dancing the entire night. C6 brought incredible energy, talent, and passion-- and everyone was raving about them the entire night and afterward. We felt like we could dance for 4 more hours when they announced it was time for the last song. We wish we could have more parties and events so that we could work with Matt and the entire C6 family-- it was truly perfect. Collision Six played our wedding this past weekend in Cleveland, Ohio. We did a ton of research to find the right band for our event and decided on them after meeting over Google Meet a couple times with the band leader Matt and talking with others who had used them for the wedding.
Collision Six blew our expectations out of the water. They fit the exact vibe that we were hoping for for our wedding and kept the dance floor going the entire night.
Matt was extremely organized and walked us through the entire process from initially booking them to the day of the wedding. He was thorough in understanding what we were looking for and making sure he was giving us the perfect experience.
I cannot recommend Collision Six more. They made our wedding a spectacular time and something we will remember forever. Thanks again Collision Six! -

Matt was very responsive and easy to work with, and they were receptive to our fairly specific requests regarding "must plays" and "do not plays." Matt is very attentive to the point that at the beginning I wondered if we were in some kind of music couples therapy. :) But TRUST ME, there is a method to his madness. He took the time to get to know us, understand our musical tastes, and understand what kind of wedding we wanted and then, most importantly, delivered. He also kept in touch through the entirety of our (long) 18 month engagement, which really helped ease any anxiety.
We had some odd things to coordinate such as a New Orleans style second line to lead people from dinner to the dancing portion of the evening, and they executed on this flawlessly. I highly recommend splurging on the horn section. I had so many people tell me, "I hate wedding bands and this was NOT a wedding band." Truly, they are a wedding band for people who think they hate wedding bands. It was more like a concert with truly talented musicians. Hire them! You will not be sorry! -

I can’t recommend Collision Six enough!!! My husband and I were supposed to get married 8/2020 and had to postpone due to covid. They were very amenable to changing the date and even contacted all our vendors and made an easy to see spreadsheet for us to be able to easily see all our vendors availabilities and choose a new wedding date (and then a new one again after that). We chose the classic package with ceremony music, and everything was absolutely phenomenal. The band was able to make arrangements for music we chose to make our ceremony and day personalized. They played music that kept the dance floor full the entire night and everybody kept telling us how fun they had and how great the band is. Our wedding would not have had the same atmosphere without Collision Six, and I’m so so happy that we chose them to be our band from the very beginning! -

The Best Band Experience
Matt was amazing to work with - from helping with the process and choosing songs, to making our day feel like it was as important to him as it was to us, and playing absolutely amazing music on the big day. Collision Six was the star of our wedding, and we got SO MANY compliments on the band afterward. I cannot recommend them enough… there is not one area in which Matt and Collision Six could do a better job. Matt was also amazing in helping with the progression of the night, making sure I was ready to move from one part to the next, and he had a great way of commanding the room and making sure the flow of the night was perfect.
I would give him 10 stars in every category if I could! -

We were married this past Saturday after a COVID-19 re-schedule and we were so happy with our experience with Collision Six. From the beginning we knew that we may have to re-schedule and they were there for us and so accommodating. They offered to assist with our other vendors and worked very closely with our venue, the Gem Theatre, the whole way. Matt was so friendly and patient as we attempted to put together some of our favorite songs. Matt MC'd the night perfectly - when our photographer and videographer were ready to leave and the bouquet toss hadn't happened, Matt was able to adapt in the middle of the set and make sure we were able to get all the photos/videos we wanted. Every single person in attendance asked, where we found the band and raved about their performance! We loved working with them so much and are already talking about looking them up for our 10th anniversary :) -

Collision Six is an absolutely FABULOUS band and SO TALENTED! Not only are they a band, but the also MC your whole wedding night...from getting people seated, to speeches, and first dances.....they made the night run so smooth and were amazing. They filled every request of mine and MORE! As my dad and I were dancing...he looked at me..and said...Honey I am sorry for the fuss about the price of the band.....It is a 100% worth it! and they are amazing!!
Collision Six is by far the best out there! They have played for multiple of my cousins weddings and I hope to see them again soon at another family wedding :)! -

Thank you for making our wedding night the talk of the town. Your energy was contagious and had the entire room on their feet. The quality of performance was unmatched - truly outstanding. We can’t even begin to count the number of times that people stopped us on the dance floor or wherever we were to tell us that this was the best band they had ever seen! The overall tone, the flow and feel of the night, was set by the band and was so seamless. Outside of the night itself, working with you throughout the planning process was so easy and we appreciate that as well.
People kept saying they felt like they were at a concert! Your band created moments and memories that are the highlights of our night and we will never forget.
We so appreciate all of the additional effort that went into traveling for our wedding - driving the gear, flying, giving up time away from home and family. It was very special for us to bring a piece of Michigan to our wedding to make it so unique. We were so proud to brag that the band was NOT a New York band (that guests probably would have seen a handful of times already at other weddings). C6 played at my best friend's wedding a few years ago and I knew I had to have them. I was so impressed with the communication and professionalism Matt and his team have. On our wedding day, it rained and changed all of our plans. The ceremony and reception still went off with a bang, and my friends and family haven't stopped talking about how amazing they were. My husband and I chose to dance to Phil Collins "Groovy Kind of Love" as our first dance. We both now laugh that we had to look up at one point to see if it was actually Phil Collins. Highly recommend Collision Six!!
Collision Six is worth every penny! The live jazz band during cocktail hour and live piano music during dinner completed the classic and timeless feel we were going for. At the reception, the band got the party started and kept it going with ease. We continue to get compliments on the variety and quality of music. We also want to mention the overall service provided. Matt was efficient and detailed throughout each step of the planning process. He has truly thought of everything, which took the stress away while planning. He went above and beyond to make sure that he knew exactly what we envisioned and executed it successfully. He was extremely responsive, personable, and helpful. Even when we thought we might have to change venues due to the pandemic, he offered to coordinate dates all the vendors would be available and provided a list of venue suggestions. Now we are looking for an excuse to have a party big enough to have Collision Six play again for us! -
