Located in Rochester, Michigan, on the campus of Oakland University, Meadow Brook Hall is Michigan's most beautiful wedding venue. Facilities and Capacity

Meadow Brook Hall offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces to suit weddings of every size and style. The Hall is a brick building with elegant gardens surrounding the estate. The gardens are often used for intimate ceremonies, or for an al fresco cocktail hour for smaller parties. The main level of the Hall features a spacious event room for mingling and enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Formal dining is typically hosted in the Christopher Wren Dining Room, which can seat up to 100 guests. The main dining space in the Christopher Wren Room can seat 94. An additional six guests, either the wedding party or select honored guests, can enjoy a more private experience in the adjacent Breakfast Nook. Guests will marvel at the plaster ceilings and detailed woodwork on the walls as they eat, drink, and enjoy your special day.

Services Offered

This venue offers complimentary wedding coordinator services to ensure you can enjoy your wedding day stress-free. The wedding coordinator will meet with you in-person to familiarize themselves with your plan, coordinate with your vendors, and provide complete assistance on the big day to ensure everything flows seamlessly. Other rentals and services include:

• Setup, breakdown, and cleanup of all decor items

Cuisine

Meadow Brook Hall has an onsite caterer to prepare an elegant wedding meal for any size group. They design custom menus using fresh, local ingredients including herbs from the Meadow Brook gardens. The culinary staff can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, Kosher, and other special dietary needs. White glove service is included.

History

Meadow Brook Hall is the historic home built by one of the automotive aristocracy’s most remarkable women, Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of auto pioneer John Dodge, and her second husband, Alfred Wilson.

The Great Estate represents one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival style architecture in America, and is especially renowned for its superb craftsmanship, architectural detailing and grand scale. With 110 rooms and 88,000 square feet, Meadow Brook is the fourth largest historic home in the nation and the largest in the Midwest.
