Amazing venue! Meadow Brook is by far the most beautiful place for weddings - especially in August when all the flowers are in full bloom. It's expensive but the service and quality is excellent. Our guests were wowed by the elegant setting but the wedding tent reception gives it a fun aspect instead of a stuffy one. The food is top notch - from the yummy appetizers to the cucumber bow wrapped salad to the melt in your mouth beef and salmon and the wait staff was professional but very friendly.. I loved that they served the wedding party champagne and appetizers in the dining room right after the ceremony so they could have a quick private celebration. I loved the outdoor ceremony in the Pegasus garden - we added flowers but they were really not needed because there were so many there anyway!Sent on 08/21/2017
The thing that really makes the difference is the Meadow Brook planner that you work with before the wedding and the day of. Alexis was the what made the day over the top special. She gave such great advice on all aspects of planning and we didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. She even caught my mistake with the seating arrangements and instead of having me change everything she changed her table numbers to match mine. My daughter had some strong opinions about the reception order and timing that Alexis was unsure about but agreed to try - when they ended up not working so well during the event Alexis just moved seemlessly back to the original plan. She was so professional but also nice and accommodating.
One thing to keep in mind is the additional expense needed to decorate the tent - not just flowers but linens, chairs, lighting, etc. - it's a big white tent!

THANK YOU for our dream wedding!
Meadow Brook Hall was the perfect place for our wedding. My husband and I live out of state, so this was a destination wedding for us. Communication was key, and our wedding coordinator, Alexis, was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful, offering her opinion on things when we asked, and was very responsive throughout the whole process. We were supposed to have our ceremony outside, but it had rained earlier in the day, which would have made for a soggy walk down the aisle, ha ha. The staff had everything setup and ready to go for an indoor ceremony and it went perfectly. Taking pictures with a bridal party consisting of 18 people is no easy feat, but Alexis kept everyone moving and on schedule before we headed into the reception, which we greatly appreciated. The venue is stunning (both inside and out), the staff is wonderful and the food was amazing - everyone raved about it. We highly recommend Meadow Brook Hall and Alexis!Sent on 06/26/2019

I could go on and on about Meadow Brook, but the main reason I loved having our wedding reception there was the attentiveness EVERY staff member showed our guests!Sent on 06/26/2019
Multiple people texted us the next day raving about their experience, saying it was the "best and most beautiful wedding they had ever been to." :) Could not recommend enough!!
