Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Detroit

This couple were the most wholesome people to work with. In any situation, they were there to help us. They even took their own photos and videos so we had something to look back on right away. Both the groom and bride suites helped us with being able to manage and plan throughout the day, with the couple on site and just a phone call away. All the little details were taken care by them, including individually turning on every single tea light we had placed on the tables. They also allowed us to use additional supplies, to save us a lot of money in decor. The guests raved about being able to feed and pet the goats and alpacas! We even got to go in with our photo and video team and feed them! I could not have asked for better owners to work with. I truly believe the happiest people to see my husband and I married were the Barbu family!

Having our wedding at Cushing Field House was a dream come true. From the beginning, Peter and Cushie were so helpful, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our planning experience go smoothly. They had a wonderful list of preferred vendors that we had excellent experiences using. They were also extremely attentive to answering any questions we had throughout the process and also went above and beyond to make our wedding personal to us. We could not be more pleased with the overall wedding day. The venue itself is stunning, surrounded by nature and beautiful views and the facilities are top notch - very clean, tasteful, and well taken care of. If you are on the fence about choosing this venue, I highly encourage you to choose them, you won't regret it!

This venue is romantic, dreamy, outdoorsy and far from the farm barn look a lot of other similar venues have! I fell in love with the pine trees and choose to get married under them outdoors before moving indoors for the reception. Our wedding was in June, it wasn't too hot but the venue had AC when it did heat up during the reception. There was no shortage of photo op spots around the venue the property is stunning and would give great photos regardless of the season. Everyone complimented the venue on how nice it was, truly a hidden gem. The owner Jen was amazing and a HUGE help in the whole process of planning a wedding!! She is very communitive, answered any questions I had via email, text, or call. She even sent out reminders at certain times before the wedding to keep things in mind such as liability insurance, vendor recommendations, due dates etc. The day of the wedding she was there to answer my coordinators questions and help with anything we needed. The floor plan is pretty flexible to do with any size party and she had a lot of great table set ups to choose from. All of our other vendors only had great things to say about her. I always knew I wanted Pizza & BBQ for our dinner, which is never on in-house catering menus, so the fact outside catering was allowed was a huge plus! Affordability-wise it fit our budget very well with what I wanted in a venue. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. I cannot express enough how amazing our experience has been with Jen and The Pine Tree Barn it was everything I wanted for my wedding!!

Stone House Farm is the most beautiful venue and SO easy to work with! Julia, the owner/coordinator answers any questions and makes you feel like family! She helped me plan from the smallest to the biggest of details with all the same attention to detail! Everything was perfect and went so smoothly on our special day! 

We got married on September 14th and I can not recommend this venue enough. From the very beginning, the owners - Dan and Christine responded fast, were very patient and thorough, asked all of the right questions to narrow down every detail to make our day special, and worked so hard to help with anything we needed. The venue is the most beautiful and magical place. Butterflies, lavender, wildflowers, and gorgeous landscaping. The bridal suite is so cute and reminds me of a Pinterest post. There is so many little details on the property that are perfect photo ops. Our ceremony was held outside in front of the lavender field, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful and peaceful. The sun shines through the barn to add that extra touch for your photos during dances and dinner. Dan and Christine did an amazing job setting all of the tables and giving us what we needed. They played such a huge role in making my dream wedding vision come to life. I’m so thankful for all of their hard work and kindness throughout the weekend. I’d do it all over again times a million at Lavender Shores Farm. I wish I could live there! Lol. If you’re going back and forth on visiting the venue for a tour, dont! Just do it! You won’t regret it. Thank you Dan and Christine!

We had a magical day at Robin Hills. While we wouldn't recommend planning a wedding mid-pandemic, Adam and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. The setting, especially in as summer changed to fall, was stunning and our guests loved having a change of scenery from ceremony (in the glass house) to the beautiful tent and barn for the reception. Can't recommend highly enough.

Austin is great to work with. The venue is included the entire weekend which is beneficial. The grounds are beautifully kept and spacious. The venue provides a golf cart and driver for valet service to the ceremony area and parking lot. What stands out from this venue is the overnight tree house suit. Truly a 10/10 experience!

I own Great Lakes Mobile Bar Services Co., we bartender a wedding here this summer and had the pleasure of speaking with the venue owners - they are kind, caring, and go over and beyond! They have the cutest built in bar with small deep freezer to store ice (which is huge for a hot summer day). 10/10 recommend.

We had the most unforgettable wedding experience at Peacock Road Family Farm! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our special day absolutely perfect. Lorri was a true gem, guiding us through the entire planning process, promptly addressing all our questions and concerns and making sure all my hand made decorations where exactly how I wanted them she made everything a breeze. The hospitality of Farmer Ed was exceptional, and his smoked food right on the farm was nothing short of amazing! Having the the aroma of the food cooking all day on the farm was also a nice touch. The delectable dishes left everyone raving about the food for weeks after the wedding. The attention to detail and delicious flavors truly made our reception an outstanding culinary experience. One of the standout features of this venue was the freedom for our guests to explore and enjoy various activities. From the dance floor to the game yard with a wide array of games and the charming petting farm, there was something for everyone. Our guests loved the opportunity to venture off and create beautiful memories in different corners of the farm. Let's not forget the mouthwatering donuts served after dinner, accompanied by a delightful selection of toppings. It was the perfect sweet treat to end our evening on a high note! Overall, Peacock Road Family Farm is a hidden gem that offers not only a picturesque setting but also a team of exceptional staff who put their heart and soul into making every moment unforgettable. We are forever grateful for the memories created at this wonderful venue, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and rustic wedding experience.
