History

High Point Farm has a long and established history, beginning in 1835 when then-President Andrew Jackson gifted land to Orsamoon Horton. Orsamoon's descendants then established Horton Farm, which served six generations of the Horton family. The now-owners continue this respected history by taking care of the estate. It is considered one of the three highest landmark points in the southern part of Michigan State, hence its current name.
