Hotel Wedding Venues in Detroit

My husband and I had our wedding reception and ceremony at the Sheraton Ann Arbor in November 2017. We live out of town, but had the pleasure of working with Delicia Kimball on all of our event preparations, and she made the whole process so easy! Delicia was extremely patient with answering all of our questions (both via email and phone) and was so helpful in working with us to make sure the ceremony and reception met all of our needs (including allowing us to use an outside caterer since we wanted to serve mainly Indian food). On the day of our wedding, Delicia and all of the wonderful staff at Sheraton made sure everything was going smoothly and were so attentive to us and all of our guests. In addition, all of our out-of-town guests stayed at the Sheraton for our wedding weekend - everyone thought the rooms were great and they especially enjoyed the delicious hot breakfast that was served in the mornings. From start to finish, it really was a wonderful experience and we definitely recommend considering the Sheraton for your wedding festivities!

I have a great experience at Kesington Hotel. Their staff are professional and pleasant to work with. Everyone are taking initiative of their job, and trying to fulfill my needs as soon as possible. What a lovely place to host events!

We absolutely love working with the DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City and Azurah is a huge reason why. She’s organized, communicative, and truly cares about creating a great experience for both couples and vendors. Every time we’re here, the day runs smoothly and the team is nothing but professional and welcoming. Always a pleasure partnering with this venue!

From the moment we contacted the Hotel Baronett, Jamal and the entire team were welcoming and excited to help us make our wedding perfect for us. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in separate areas yet just steps from each other. The evening was amazing, the food was delicious and all of our friends and family had a great time. It was an added perk that our guests had the choice to stay overnight after bringing in the new year. We highly recommend the Hotel Baronett as a wedding venue!

We booked the Westin for our daughter’s rehearsal dinner and Sunday morning breakfast. The catering manager was very easy to work with, helpful and responsive. We had about 50 guests at each event. We used the Italian Garden, Crystal Ballroom and the Esquire Room. Of the three, the Esquire Room is the most “conference” like, but it was fine for breakfast. Menu options are fairly extensive and the buffet we chose for dinner had soup, salad, sides, three entree options snd desserts. The food was good. We also offered passed hors d’ouvres and the tapas bar before dinner. In hindsight, we didn’t need the tapas bar. This venue was very convenient for our out of town guests, the majority of whom stayed at the hotel. We were very pleased with our choice.

My wedding reception was everything I hoped it to be. Natalie, the event coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. She was responsive, helpful and such a delight to work with. Sandra was also a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely recommend the Sheraton for any and all events.

Beautiful hotel in the area for a wedding block. I was in a different country and they were great about communicating over email. We had a few glitches getting the booking link setup but Riley was awesome and able to get to the bottom of the issue and had it all fixed before we released it to our guests! Sarah was great to communicate with to get the contract setup. It was easy to extend the block once the first group of rooms was booked. Check in and out was very easy for us and all our guests and they helped direct our guests to the shuttle. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Beds were also very comfortable after a very long day! The suite was perfect for our whole wedding party to get ready in - lots of space. Thankful that Doubletree was a part of our big day, and those cookies, yum! Prices are a little high, especially if converting to Canadian and do wish there was a breakfast included but these are small things that don’t effect the great stay we had!

All of our guests were in awe of the hotel decor and how nice the staff was!! I’m so happy we chose the Double Tree in Bloomfield Hills, to have our very special day!!

Christine and Lauren were absolutely the best! They helped us plan our wedding at their location. We had our Meet and Greet after the rehearsal in their restaurant/bar. We also had a dressing room with great food and drinks for the bride and bridesmaids on the day of the wedding. Our reception was perfect in every way! They helped us plan the meal and the decor. They were very accommodating and helped us work through the many decisions we had to make. We had the majority of our guests from out of town. They gave our guests a price for the block of rooms that was a good value. Finally we had a breakfast in their restaurant on Sunday morning for our out town friends and family. We appreciated having all of our events at the Crowne Plaza and working with Christine and Lauren on them all. The staff at the Crowne Plaza from the chef to the wait staff and the front desk were all helpful and went out of their way to make our wedding weekend perfect!

The venue, service and staff were absolutely perfect for my event and Lisa, Kristin and team did a fantastic job making sure everything went seamless. From catering, to rooms, to guest services, to event planning, all of my events throughout the weekend were outstanding. My guests had a wonderful time and mentioned on several occasions how great the Marriott staff was and hospitality was top of the line. Thank you Lisa and the entire Marriott team for making this so special !! Thank you
