We rented the entire Michigan Ballroom and had the ceremony in one section and the reception in the other. We also had a cocktail hour in the lobby of the Ballroom and the hotel staff was very accommodating with all my changes and requests.
I cannot say enough good things about Delicia, Jason, and the entire banquet staff. They even made sure to finalize all the details as I wanted them when the wedding planner was late showing up and I was freaking out.
If you are looking for a venue to do a one stop shop, then this is your place. They allowed me to do so many different things with the rooms. Our day wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for the details that the hotel made sure were there for everything.

The Ann Arbor Sheraton is an excellent venue. The recent renovations have added to what was already a great place to have a wedding. We were able to film a promotional video that we believe demonstrates that the Sheraton is as good as it gets in the Ann Arbor area. Dan Prichard was extremely helpful, professional and easy to work with. The rest of the staff did a wonderful job as well.
We shot a wedding at The Sheraton Ann Arbor last June and we really appreciated the opportunity to work with Dan Prichard and his staff. The wedding was a very large Indian wedding and The Sheraton handled everything effortlessly. The guest rooms were lovely and well lit, allowing for lovely early morning pictures of our bride and groom. The staff was wonderful about allowing us to use the lobby area for photos and video and there was plenty to work with as far as decor. The ballroom housed both the ceremony and the reception and the decor was lovely and made a wonderful backdrop to our photos. The Sheraton also provided a spacious room near the ballroom for the vendors to have a quick bite to eat and a place to work between the morning and evening events. Dan was very present throughout the day and made every effort to be accommodating to vendors and guests alike. We look forward to working with The Sheraton Ann Arbor in the future.
