About The H Hotel

The H Hotel is Mid-Michigan’s only AAA 4-Diamond full-service hotel and wedding venue located in the heart of downtown Midland, Michigan. This venue offers elegance and fine amenities for weddings of any style or size. From our Signature Main Street Courtyard to our beautifully appointed Indigo Ballroom and Guestrooms, the H Hotel is your ideal venue to host your big day. Our dedicated event planning staff is committed to providing unparalleled service and attention to detail with every wedding experience- big or small.

Facilities and Capacity

The H Hotel features both indoor and outdoor event spaces to assist in making your wedding vision a reality. Our Main Street Courtyard can accommodate up to 180 seated guests and provides a picturesque landscape for wedding photos. The H Hotel is also equipped with our spacious Indigo ballroom to host up to 250 guests for an unforgettable wedding reception. Our Indigo Ballroom features elegant white and neutral tones as well as an open floor plan to accommodate parties of all sizes. Couples will also have access to our designated bridal party get ready room prior to the ceremony and festivities for the day. All venue spaces can be customized with clients’ own decor and florals to suit their wedding vision.

The H Hotel team works hard to make every couple’s wedding a once-in-a-lifetime experience. When choosing this venue for your big day, you’ll collaborate with our Catering Sales Manager to determine a wedding timeline and custom menu that suits your personal style. You’ll also have access to full-service wedding planning and catering options to ensure a day that’s as seamless as possible.

Accommodation

The H Hotel boasts over 100 rooms and suites for couples and their loved ones to enjoy. All guests receive complimentary WiFi and access to our premium fitness center and pool area. In addition to your complimentary suite for the night of your wedding, we will also set aside a block of guestrooms at a discounted group rate for your out of town friends and family to enjoy the H Hotel and everything Midland has to offer.

    The Perfect Venue

    We chose The H Hotel as our wedding reception venue. The entire process was stress free. Vicky kept in close contact with us, and triple checked every detail. The final result was the wedding reception of our dreams! The courtyard was beautiful, the food was incredible, and we get compliments from our guests to THIS DAY about how wonderful it was. The rooms are gorgeous, and they make it very affordable for guests to stay over night. We are about to return for our 1 year anniversary, and we are so looking forward to returning and remembering that perfect night.

    We have worked with Tammy Walker at the H to host three of our events. Tammy and the staff at the H are flawless. It wasn't until I had worked with some other venues that I realized how smoothly everything operated there. Their communication before, during, and after were on point, and every odd request of ours was taken care of. If there were any issues, I did not know of them. They took care of everything so you can concentrate on your party.

    Highly Recommend

    Claire and the banquet team at The H are absolutely phenomenal! Claire was amazing to work with and made my life SO much easier. As an out-of-state bride, good communication was crucial to making my vision come alive, and The H lived up to all of my expectations leading up to the wedding! The day of team at The H were so discreet, but always there when needed, and extremely friendly. The hotel is beautiful, and you are treated like royalty from start to finish! Our wedding was perfect and I am so happy that I trusted The H Hotel with our special day
