Jennifer was the only photographer we talked to when picking a wedding photographer. Honestly she was the only one we wanted just based off her social media and website photos alone. Then we had a call with her…and that was it we knew she was the one we wanted to capture our day.
We did an engagement session with her and I’m so happy we did. I have t had professional photos taken of me since my high school senior pictures in 1996, so I was a little camera shy. But Jennifer makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera right away, I don’t know how she does it but she does. Our engagement photos came out beautiful! I used one for our wedding website and a different one for our wedding newspaper, it was not an easy decision, since so many of the photos were breathtaking.
When it was time for us to work on the wedding day time line and photo locations I was struggling. Jennifer walked us through it all and need scheduled a call with us so we could all get in the same page right away instead of emailing back and forth several times. She came up with several great ideas and made a game plan for good weather as well as rain.
When the wedding day came it rained all day. But because is Jennifer’s planning we were able to make it all work. I really had my heart set in photos at the DIA, so I was disappointed that because of the rain that location was out. Jennifer said it didn’t need to be we would just be quick with it. That meant so much to me. We had a vintage car coming for photos and I knew I would have to contact them by 2pm to tell them where to meet us, Jennifer handled that for me too.
Because Jennifer is so good at what she does and moves quickly we were able to get an extra photo location in that we didn’t think hadn’t even planned on.
Everything she did helped to make the day run smoothly. When I forgot where I put my earring backs she remembered. When my foot had an “incident” she had bandaids. And she knows how to take charge when she needs to without being overbearing.

My husband and I were married last September at the Masonic Temple Detroit. Captured Couture did an amazing job making my husband and I feel most comfortable on our wedding day. Jennifer helped me set up a timeline for our wedding day which took the stress off of us so that we could enjoy everything. The pictures came back quickly and they were just what I was hoping for, absolutely beautiful and timeless. Jennifer and her assistants attention to detail helped me receive photos I'm not only happy with but will be able to enjoy for a lifetime!

After looking at a number of different semi-local photographers in the SE Michigan area, we decided to go with Captured Couture after looking through a number of their galleries and having an intro discussion where we got a chance to test chemistry and talk about some of what we were looking for. Throughout the preparation process Jennifer was incredibly helpful in building a plan to ensure that we were able to ensure that her and her team were properly set up for the most successful memorializing of our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer's team showed up, was incredibly friendly, and did a fantastic job adapting to the inevitable hiccups as different parts of the day slipped or got pulled back to a required time. After the wedding, Jennifer got some teaser photos and videos posted to her Instagram within a few days and then ended up sending the whole package to us way ahead of schedule! When we got the photos, it really reinforced what a good choice we had made in picking Captured Couture to capture our wedding. Jennifer and her team had consistently done a fantastic job to photograph our day and all the special details throughout it, striking a great balance of artistic framing and getting the important shots.

Jennifer is an outstanding photographer with a professional eye for beautiful shots! Her ability to work with different lighting is truly incredible. Jennifer and her assistant Leann were an absolute dream to work with. They were so helpful with keeping us on schedule and getting all of our must have pictures! Our wedding day was cloudy, so we didn't have a great sunset but Jennifer improvised and we took some fun pictures in the bridal suite, and they ended up being some of my favorite pictures of the night! Can't recommend her enough.

We booked Jennifer for our wedding set to take place in Nov 2022 because her photos were moody and gorgeous. She was the only photographer that my now-husband Alex and I could agree upon when looking through portfolios. Jennifer absolutely blew us away when she did our engagement shoot, we had a hard time believing she could one-up it for the wedding. But in true artistic fashion, she did, and we are so blessed to have found her.
