Jennifer was the only photographer we talked to when picking a wedding photographer. Honestly she was the only one we wanted just based off her social media and website photos alone. Then we had a call with her…and that was it we knew she was the one we wanted to capture our day.
We did an engagement session with her and I’m so happy we did. I have t had professional photos taken of me since my high school senior pictures in 1996, so I was a little camera shy. But Jennifer makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera right away, I don’t know how she does it but she does. Our engagement photos came out beautiful! I used one for our wedding website and a different one for our wedding newspaper, it was not an easy decision, since so many of the photos were breathtaking.
When it was time for us to work on the wedding day time line and photo locations I was struggling. Jennifer walked us through it all and need scheduled a call with us so we could all get in the same page right away instead of emailing back and forth several times. She came up with several great ideas and made a game plan for good weather as well as rain.
When the wedding day came it rained all day. But because is Jennifer’s planning we were able to make it all work. I really had my heart set in photos at the DIA, so I was disappointed that because of the rain that location was out. Jennifer said it didn’t need to be we would just be quick with it. That meant so much to me. We had a vintage car coming for photos and I knew I would have to contact them by 2pm to tell them where to meet us, Jennifer handled that for me too.
Because Jennifer is so good at what she does and moves quickly we were able to get an extra photo location in that we didn’t think hadn’t even planned on.
Everything she did helped to make the day run smoothly. When I forgot where I put my earring backs she remembered. When my foot had an “incident” she had bandaids. And she knows how to take charge when she needs to without being overbearing.
The sneak peek's are so beautiful! I can’t wait to get the rest of the gallery back. Jennifer is absolutely the right choice for your wedding day!

Wedding Review
My husband and I were married last September at the Masonic Temple Detroit. Captured Couture did an amazing job making my husband and I feel most comfortable on our wedding day. Jennifer helped me set up a timeline for our wedding day which took the stress off of us so that we could enjoy everything. The pictures came back quickly and they were just what I was hoping for, absolutely beautiful and timeless. Jennifer and her assistants attention to detail helped me receive photos I'm not only happy with but will be able to enjoy for a lifetime! -

After looking at a number of different semi-local photographers in the SE Michigan area, we decided to go with Captured Couture after looking through a number of their galleries and having an intro discussion where we got a chance to test chemistry and talk about some of what we were looking for. Throughout the preparation process Jennifer was incredibly helpful in building a plan to ensure that we were able to ensure that her and her team were properly set up for the most successful memorializing of our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer's team showed up, was incredibly friendly, and did a fantastic job adapting to the inevitable hiccups as different parts of the day slipped or got pulled back to a required time. After the wedding, Jennifer got some teaser photos and videos posted to her Instagram within a few days and then ended up sending the whole package to us way ahead of schedule! When we got the photos, it really reinforced what a good choice we had made in picking Captured Couture to capture our wedding. Jennifer and her team had consistently done a fantastic job to photograph our day and all the special details throughout it, striking a great balance of artistic framing and getting the important shots.
We'd recommend Captured Couture to anybody who was looking for a fantastic photographer! -

Jennifer is an outstanding photographer with a professional eye for beautiful shots! Her ability to work with different lighting is truly incredible. She knows the Detroit area well and that is evident in her work and the places she chooses as backdrops. She made our wedding day come alive and captured moments that we will cherish forever. Jennifer was just the greatest! She captured our unique and non-traditional wedding in a way that was absolutely magical and represented the day in the most perfect way. She was open to any and every idea we had as far as photos (hello - lightsabers?!) and was just such a calming and comforting presence to have with me throughout the stress of the day. Jennifer knows what she’s doing!!!
Jennifer and her team were an absolute dream to work with!! I wanted to get a photographer who would capture the dramatic, dark look I was looking for and Jennifer knocked it out of the park!! Her use of light, shadow, and angle gave us timeless photos we cannot wait to display forever!
Jennifer and her team made us feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole day, and working with her up to our wedding was a breeze. Jennifer was extremely responsive to all my questions, and if I had any requests she was extremely flexible to work with them.
All of our friends and family said the our photos were absolutely gorgeous! I could recommend Capture Couture to anyone! -

Jennifer and her assistant Leann were an absolute dream to work with. They were so helpful with keeping us on schedule and getting all of our must have pictures! Our wedding day was cloudy, so we didn't have a great sunset but Jennifer improvised and we took some fun pictures in the bridal suite, and they ended up being some of my favorite pictures of the night! Can't recommend her enough. -

We absolutely loved working with Jennifer and Ashley at Captured Couture! I heard about them via a friend who’s wedding photos I loved, and I immediately knew I wanted to work with them for my own wedding. Jennifer promptly scheduled our engagement photo shoot, went through my photography wants and needs, and created a timeline that helped me plan out my wedding day to a T. Jennifer was easy to get in touch with and always responded to my emails quickly. Ashley was our lead photographer, and she was amazing! Every photo in our gallery is beautiful, and she really captured the essence of our wedding day in every way. Our photos are warm, romantic, and nostalgic, and we are so happy with how they turned out. Ashley kept us focused and on time, which I’m sure was difficult with our large wedding party. We also received our entire gallery less than a month after the wedding, which was very exciting. Overall, I would recommend Captured Couture to anyone getting married in the metro Detroit area - you will not regret it! -

Jennifer and her team were amazing at capturing all the beautiful details of our wedding day. She truly has an artistic eye and creates magical photos. We were looking for a photographer that created dramatic, elegant photos and Jennifer absolutely made that happen. Truly breathtaking. She made us feel very comfortable and was flexible and prepared. Captured Couture and Jennifer as a whole were amazing! The one thing I wanted most out of my wedding day was great photos and Jennifer delivered, in fact, over 1,000 of them (we had 3 photographers from Captured Couture in total). They are so beautiful and my whole family cannot get enough of them! Jennifer is so easy going and was able to capture all of the best little moments of the day, while also making sure we got all of our must have photographs. She also knows Pine Knob Mansion like the back of her hand and knew exactly when we should schedule the ceremony and photos to have the best lighting! Overall, I cannot say enough good things!!! -

We had Jennifer and team at our May 2021 Wedding and postponed November 2021 Reception and they were the absolute best. Jennifer and her entire team are so thoughtful and personable, they added to our enjoyment each time we saw them. There was a quick turn around between the events and when we received the images and video, and the quality was superb! I work in design and can be a bit picky about images and composition - and I could not be happier with what we received. -

Jennifer of Captured Couture was incredible! A photographer was the most important vendor to me. She was very professional I felt so confident on my wedding day knowing she was capturing all the important moments! I could tell how confident she and her team were and it was so nice to give her a timeline and must have shot list and know she'd get it all.
I knew I made the right decision after our engagement photos were the best pictures I've ever had taken, she even worked with our dog being in the pictures.

Jennifer is absolutely wonderful to work with! While I was in the middle of booking photographers last year, our venue went bankrupt so I was scrambling to find a new venue. During our initial phone call, where I was just feeling Jennifer out, she offered multiple suggestions of different venues I could look into before we even discussed photography. She took 15 minutes of our call to help me out when she didn't have to, she's just that sweet. Having your pictures taken can definitely be awkward but Jennifer helped us feel at ease and was able to explain her vision for different shots during our engagement shoot. The photos turned out gorgeous and she sent us the whole album the NEXT DAY, which is incredible. During our rescheduling this year, Jennifer has been extremely accommodating and understanding. We have had a great experience working with Jennifer, which is even more appreciated with everything going on! Overall, Jennifer is a wonderful human and her photography is beautiful, and I can't wait for her to shoot our wedding! -

Jennifer is wonderful to work with! Our engagement session was cut short by a large storm but even though we had to move quickly she still got absolutely beautiful pictures! We were very happy with our photos. We even got some pretty cool ones with the dark clouds rolling in.

Listen. If you are still trying to decide on a wedding photographer STOP RIGHT NOW!!! It does not get any better than Capture Couture!!! From our very first meeting with Jennifer, I knew she was going to be fabulous to work with. We had a winter wedding and were worried abut lighting for pictures since it gets dark early. I brought this up to Jennifer and she had already looked up exactly what time sunset was going to be and had suggestions for moving our ceremony time around. She sends out a very detailed planner to fill out before the wedding day that helped me narrow down tons of details about what I wanted. Exactly which family members did I want in portraits? Did I want solo bride portrait photos? Did I want getting ready pictures before actually getting to the venue? When it came to the day of, her organization was phenomenal. She knew exactly where she wanted to shoot, exactly what poses she wanted to do, and never had to take a picture a second time. I was so surprised that pictures went so smoothly and so quickly. They were fun too! I felt so comfortable and natural even when being "posed" or doing more serious pictures. I seriously cannot recommend Captured Couture enough. I have absolutely no complaints or recommendations for improvement. Do yourself a favor and BOOK WITH HER ASAP. -

Jennifer was a delight to work with! She was very informative and responsive from Day 1. Her advice with our timeline and shot locations helped the day run so smoothly. Jennifer, the owner of Captured Couture, was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish! When my husband and I first were engaged, our hunt was on for the best photographer for the value. I searched endlessly with my sister, which is a professional herself in the field but was a part of our big day. When I stumbled across Captured Couture, I was blown away by the quality and detail put into her work. This was exemplified while working with her during our engagement and wedding session, as well as throughout the process of planning! She kept communications open, honest, and quick. Although we are used to being photographed as a couple, the wedding day was a whole new level of weird for us--as the spotlight was much bigger. We were given a timeline based on our needs and wants for the wedding of which she was able to stick to for our big day. Jennifer made us feel so comfortable, even with our "What do we do with our hands?" questions and the family photos that usually don't go so well for my side of the family. Jennifer made sure that there was time to sneak us away from the party to get a few more intimate evening photos, they did not disappoint as they are amongst some of our favorites. During the few times we were snuck out, she made sure that we were given a moment to enjoy our wedding as just the two of us—these are some of the priceless moments we were given even though they weren’t caught on camera to allow us to reflect and enjoy our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with the choice of asking Jennifer to be a part of our day and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality and an easy-going photographer! -

Best decision we ever made for our wedding!
Where to even begin....Jennifer was phenomenal from the very first time we met her! She was so easy to talk to, made us feel comfortable and had a beautiful portfolio that immdeiately impressed us. My husband was very involved in choosing the photographer and we spent large amounts of time speaking with numerous companies and not finding a good fit. After we met with Jennifer we both had no doubts about hiring her! She was always available to ask questions, made viewing and purchasing our engagement photos a breeze, and for both those and our wedding photos the turn around time was very fast! She really cares about her clients and makes sure to plan and request every last detail so that your wedding vision can come to life in your pictures. She made us feel like a friend was our photographer instead of someone we hired. Also, being a bride that did not have any idea of what I was doing, she had suggestions and recommendations to help us out along the way. Our pictures turned out STUNNING and we have her to thank for capturing our memories. Reviews were such a huge part of how we navigated towards her and each one doesnt even do her justice. We hired Jen to do our wedding this August and finally got to meet her during our engagement photo shoot and she is awesome! We were so comfortable with her during the photos, it was like hanging out with a good friend and the photos turned out beautifully! Jen has been so helpful during this whole process, she is quick to respond to any question I might have (and there have been lots so far). Best Photographer EVER!!!
Jennifer and her team were so amazing!! From day one, she was so helpful in helping me plan my perfect wedding day vision, and allowed me to get every single picture I wanted. Yes, she even let me write a list! I knew our wedding pictures were going to be amazing after seeing our engagement session, but I had no idea they’d be so beautiful beyond words. I’m so in love with our photos, and will truly cherish them for the rest of my days. This is your wedding photographer, trust me!! From the moment I first spoke with Jennifer I knew we made the perfect choice for our wedding and engagement photos! The fact that an engagement session is in the wedding packages is such a great idea because we got to know our wedding photographer, Keri, who was wonderful from start to finish. She got an understanding of how we like to be photographed from the engagement photo sessions, and met all our needs for the wedding day. Keri was so easy to work with and handled all (4) sides of our huge family for photos like a pro. Having a second photographer there, Jamie, was a huge bonus too.. She did amazing with the groomsmen side of photos while Keri was with the bridal party. I was a very "laid back" type of bride where I didn't have many "must have" photo ideas so I was a little worried I'd regret not getting certain posed photos, detailed photos, etc... but Keri did a wonderful job taking the lead on all of that. -

Wonderful!
Jennifer was the perfect addition to my wedding day. She was very efficient and made everything as streamlined as possible on the day. She also is extremely efficient with returning photos. For our engagement photos she had them to us the next day and for our wedding photos she had them back to us in about 10 days! She did just a great job. The pictures came out gorgeous, as expected! (There’s something about the finish of her photos that is just so wonderful) She captured so many things that I didn’t even know she got. It’s been a pleasure working with her. She was a little out of my price range but she worked with me to make a package that would work for both of us. Would definitely recommend! -
