Recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as “One of the country’s best Museums”, we host luxury weddings in national historic landmark venues featuring magnificent American architecture, impeccable grounds, lush garden courtyards plus once-in-a-lifetime experiences including horse-drawn carriages, Model T’s and locally sourced menus all with award-winning service.
Facilities and Capacity
Three awe-inspiring experiences:
- Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation makes a dramatic first impression for your guests. Start with the grandeur of timeless architecture, before moving to museum surrounded by national treasures that provide a one-of a kind backdrop for your wedding. Imagine dancing the night away under the outstretched wings of a soaring DC-3 airplane. Serves up to 400 guests for a wedding and reception.
- Lovett Hall is Michigan’s most beautiful ballroom, built by Henry Ford who lavished attention on the facility, from Burmese teak floors, crystal chandeliers, two garden courtyards, ballroom balcony, surrounded with grand windows and enormous paired fireplaces. This remarkable 1930’s gem serves up to 300 guests for a wedding and reception.
- Greenfield Village – if your dream wedding is traditional, yet unique and timeless, you’ll love Greenfield Village. Martha Mary Chapel is a picturesque New England Style Chapel, ideal for an intimate wedding. Followed by a candle lit dinner in Eagle Tavern where you are enveloped with a warm glow that sparks magic and invites your guests to stay all night. Serves up to 135 guests for a wedding reception.

As a full-service event destination, our highly detailed planning staff works with you every step of the way to ensure all onsite details are perfect. The Henry Ford provides all food, beverage and bar service, plus foundation pieces for your event from tables, white floor length linen, mahogany Chiavari chairs (in museum and Lovett only), white china, flatware and glassware with ample, complimentary onsite parking.
Cuisine
The award-winning culinary staff has created custom wedding menus and packages with stylized offerings perfect for you and your loved ones with the freshest ingredients from local farms. Couples can attend a tasting prior to the big day to ensure you love the meal choices.

The THF staff was outstanding—professional, organized, and incredibly attentive. Our wedding coordinator, Samantha Saylor, made sure every detail was taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy our day. The versatility of the venue, with multiple beautiful spaces to choose from, ensured a seamless flow throughout the day.
The catering was exceptional. Our guests raved about the braised short rib and chicken options, along with the flawless service. The team managed the timeline perfectly, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
