The Bluestone is an extraordinary venue that offers an unparalleled and unique experience that cannot be surpassed.

The Bluestone building opened its doors in late 2006 after a 5 million dollar renovation to the turn of the century Baptist church located at 583 E. Broad St.

No expense was spared in the 2 year transformation. Embodied within the Bluestone walls on three diverse levels there are 5 separate rooms, two dance floors, six bars created by nationally acclaimed artists, soaring stained glass windows and a gracious outdoor patio.

All of the diverse spaces within the facility, the superior catering services and Audio/Visual capabilities afford The Bluestone as a perfect site for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, private parties, corporate events and concerts.

Amazing experience!

The Bluestone was an absolute dream to work with for our venue! Kayla was amazing and asked any questions we had. Never took more than a day to get a response from her about any questions we had. The day of the wedding, Kayla and her staff were nothing short of amazing! I did not have to lift a finger. They made the vision of the venue space come to life with only a few questions from me! Amazing!

Incredible venue!

I knew immediately in searching for a venue I wanted our ceremony and reception at The Bluestone. It has so much character and there's a lot of flexibility to make the space what you want. Kayla, the event coordinator, was amazing! She was super helpful, responsive, and organized. She and the staff set up everything perfectly and the service was great. Our guests (we had 130 and they fit perfectly in the sanctuary with plenty of room for dancing) raved about the venue and had a blast!

It was perfect!

I could not say one bad thing about this venue... everything ran smoothly and went above and beyond expectations. Kayla was my coordinator and she pretty much helped me plan everything with the venue, from organizing the seating chart to helping me set everything up before the rehearsal. This venue is naturally beautiful and full of character so in my opinion you don’t have to do much as far as decorations go. You can’t go wrong with this place!!

The Bluestone is, without a doubt, one of our favorite wedding venues. In addition to featuring literally thousands of square feet including 3 separate rooms on different levels, 2 dance floors, a large stage, 7 beautiful bars created by nationally acclaimed artists, a multi-million dollar light system and in-house catering, you get the benefit of The Bluestone’s original purpose – cathedral church – complete with a fantastic stone exterior, amazing hardwood surroundings in the main room, cathedral ceilings and stained glass windows. This is a really elegant venue with a staff who seem to understand the level of service you should receive on your big day. Not to mention, we’re one of their preferred wedding photography vendors. Any Bluestone wedding clients who also book their wedding photography with GroovyDoodle receive an awesome discount on our services!
